We picked up two last year. Our WM had a whole pile of them. I think they had leftovers on Saturday.

That is what usually happens to me:(

I don't see why it would be different than using a coupon for a normal sale.

Hopefully, they will learn from last year and have better sales. MAybe they'll realized how disappointed people were with the ads last year.

Seeing what everyone is posting, I may have to do a drive by at WM to see if a line is forming around 8p.

I go with a group and we split our shopping list up so each person is in a different department. It goes faster and everybody gets what they wanted.

Our WM passes out maps also but that doesn't help the mad dash. I do remember WM passing out tickets for the Furbys now that someone mentioned it.

We get there that early anyways....It is just a fear that there is already a line...

Wasn't there stories on the news last year of a person being trampled?

We did see someone trip and fall on their face when they were running to get a TV at WM. No injuries though that I saw

It is a good thing that the boards got started earlier since the first ad was leaked earlier than last year.

I am hoping for a good price on a camera. I would really like to replace the Koak one I got on BF a couple of years ago.

The first ad was leaked sooner. I would have thought they would have been more careful this year.

I have this fear of getting to WM and there is already a large line. That would be a nightmare:D

LAst year WM had the early sale on laptops sometime around the beginning of Nov or something. Keep on eye on the sale papers and you might catch a sale like that.

I figure this year will be around $1500 because I am looking to get DH a LCD TV. I am also hoping to have the majority of my shopping done so my budget may be less

If I am already there and it doesn't interfere with my shopping, I hav e no problem picking other things up.

DH won't go out either. He volunteers to stay home and watch DD.

What do you think that the best price will be on a 36-42" LCD TV? DH wants one. That will be the main thing I am after.

MAke sure you check whatever WM you will be going to for thei specific PM policies. They vary sometimes

We are usually back in by 1 or 2.. After we do all of our shopping we get lunch and then go home.

Last year whne they had the laptops on sale earl, an employee came out and was going to hand out tickets. There weren't enough people there to worry about it though. If they can do it for that I don't see why they can't do it BF. I think it would be worth preventing a lawsuit when someone gets hurt. Just a thought.

My sister had a pile of CPK dolls fall on her last year. No injuries though.

LAst year we asked the manager at the Walmart that we shop at why they didn't pass out tickets for items like the TVs. The manager told us that the head offices wouldn't allow it. Did anyone else have this problem? I think it would be safer to do that instead of having people run to the back of the store. Last year people were falling and getting stepped on trying to make a dash for the eight Tvs they had. I would think that safety would be a higher priority. I wonder why they won't pass out the tickets?
