Can a netbook run programs like Office and can u use an external DVD drive with it? i am not exactly sure the difference between netbooks and laptops (other than size). i am thinking about getting one. I would use it for the internet, occasionally playing simple games, and for programs like office and family tree maker. Would a netbook be suitable for that?

My DD6 wants Squnikies, Zoobles, and monster high dolls. I found pillow pets at walgreens so I got her the one she has been asking for since they came out. As for the Squinkies, I have been piecing them together as I find them. They are sold out everywhere around me.

I think the hot toy whis year will be Squinkies. They are already sold out everywhere I have looked. To see what they are go to www.squinkies.com or look on the TRU website. My DD6 got one set and she loves them. Also, Zoobles is another thing that seems to be popular already but it is easier to find at this time.

I am glad I am not the only person thinking about this. I have been looking toys for a six and one year old girls.

Let me know if you are hitting WM and want to hang out with us. We always go the night before so if there is something you are after we should be able to get it. We go in a group and each person takes a different section of the store. It will be nice standing in line inside this year. Last year when they opened at midnight we were able to get all of our stuff except for the TV and a few electronics when we went in. We just had to hang around until 5am to pay and get the last few things.

The manager at WM told us that the sale items for Saturday Sales would be posted the Monday before. I have not been able to find anything for the 11/14 sale. Anyone find anything?

I got a laptop. The store had 37 and 24 xboxes. there was a line of about 15 people when I got there at 5:45. By 7:00 There were enough people in line to account for about everything

I am a nurse. The majority of the patients we have to admit with the flu have other health problems already. This is just another thing that the media has blown out of proportion

I am already done with my DD5 shopping as well as five or six other people. i am all about shopping early

We will be the idiots there around 8 or 9 the night before.

This is from the year WM had the big screen TVs for cheap. we were the third group of people in line. We had sat outside all night long. We didn't want a TV but the couple behind us did. Behind them were a group of very obnoxious teenagers. That group got very large as it grew closer to the time of the store opening. We had made friends with the people around us. We let the couple behind us get in front of us when the doors were about to open. Me, my sister, my mom, and two guys standing in front of us linked arms and made a wall so the people behind us could not get in. They tried everything to get around us but were unable to. It gave the people in front of us enough time to run to the back of the store to get the tickets for the TVs. Once the kids got around (after cussing us out of course), they took of running and two of them fell flat on their faces. It was very funny. That should teach them not to try to push in front of seasoned professionals.

I am so tired of slipping on th moon sand that always ends up all over the hardwood floor. I also refuse to let my daughter get bratz dolls. I really don't want anymore barbies in the house seeing as we have 18 million and she is only 5.
