When was the sale that had the laptops last year announced? Was it in the regular ad or was it something added om. I don't remember

I got the Laptop last year. I got there early figuring it would be a big draw. There was hardly anyone there. I think people will be watching for those kind of sale this year.

We bought my dad the computer last year and he loves it. He plays games and uses it for the internet. The games aren't anything fantastic. It works for him.

Medina, OH at WM

I saw the i can play guitar at WM. It is 96.00. Then you can buy additional song catridges. I thought my DD would like it but i think it will be too advanced for her. It looked really neat if you are willing to spend the money on it.

What city will you start out shopping in on BF 2007? I will be in Medina, OH. Just wondering where everyone else will be at. Maybe we could have some shopping buddy matches:)

Make final plans after thanksgiving dinner. Then we combine all of our lists and split them up by department so when WM opens we each go in a different direction. Last year our WM handed out maps which made it really easy

The only place we have left close is KMart

The people in front of us had a little propane heater thing to keep everyone warm. Even the cops were gathered around

Almost always WM...I did go to Value City first one year though

wasn't ace first last year? I think the bigger stores will go to greater lengths to keep a lid on their ads this year

I just love shopping on BF so I will shop for anyone who gives me a list and money. My only rules are that i get the money up front and my list comes first.

Usually I stick my debit card in my jeans pocket

long johns, jeans, and sweatpants...two pairs of socks...a long sleeve tshirt, short sleeve tshirt, sweatshirt, and coat...a hat.....hand and feet warmers....hot chocolate..snacks...blankets...chairs...a book..the sale ads...my shopping list...and most importantly my plan of attack:cheesy: I always drop all but the bottom layer and put the other junk away about 45 min before the store opens.

13 years...since I was sixteen. this will be my thrid BF on GD

I wonder if other stores will do what WM did last year and release additional sales on Thanksgiving Day morning were you could only find the ad for those items online

I think that it will be more crowded and the lines will fill up earlier with all the publicity BF has gotten

Story #2--we waited in line all night and at 4 a woman and her son came up to the line and kind of slowly scooted in infront of us. Of course we were carefully watching them. My sister said something to them about having to wait at the back of the line but they ignored her. Finally my sister informed those around us of what was going on and after seeing a not friendly crowd the people got in their car and left. Good thing too because there probably would have been a fight

We were the the third goup in line at walmart last year. We didn't want to get the big TV but some of the people right behind us wanted it. There was also a group of kids behind us that were acting like jerks that were also after the TV. We let the nice couple in front of us and when the doors opened us and two other guys in front of us lined us and took are time getting in the store blocking the kids behind us so that the people who had been waiting all night got the TVs...I forgot to add that the kids had someone holding their spot and did not get in line until 3 or so. They got so mad at us. By the time they finally get around us they started running and a couple fell right on there faces. I found it quite humerous.

We went to WM last year about10p and nobody was in line. We ran up the road and came back and ended up being about 4th in line. the line didn't really start getting long until about 2-3am.

Any thoughts on what the hot toys will be this year?

In the basement. There is so much junk down there no one will notice another bag or two

I had problems with some PM at WM last year. They would not PM any BOGO or % off sales

I am sure I saw them at my WM also
