I went to my local wal-mart today and the salesman told me that I could buy any DVD/Bluray's or video games today as long as I bring bak the receipt on black friday from 5am to 11am and get the price adjusted. I am really happy.

So what time do I have to set up my tent? I was thinking 5pm???? Anybody out there from the Cleveland area?

My buddy got a 46" sony bravia for $797, they are beating every wal-mart price for the next four days. Glad to see I didnt get taken. I have afeeling BB may have something up their sleeve for BF.............maybe an extra insert??????

Amazing deals at BB today. They are price matching walmart bf ad today! Just got a 40" sony bravia for $597!

I just got back fro Best Buy and got a Sony Bravia 40" Lcd for $597. The exact same TV that Walmart has in its BF ad and $60 lower that it will be at BB on BF. The sales associate told me the prices will be better today than they will be on BF. My friend also purchased a 46" Bravia for $797!!!! That is lower than Walmart BF ad.

My friend and I went to a Best Buy last night to do some recon work and was talking to one of workers about Black Friday. He casually pulled out the ad and said that he would match any black friday ad price for the TV's right now. Does this sound fishy to anybody else? I was really interested but didnt want to pull the trigger on my TV purchase because I feel like there must be a bigger an better deal coming that isn't in the ad. What do you guys think?

My Wal-mart is closing today (Thanksgiving) at 7pm until 12am, then opening the doors to people waiting for black friday.

I went into Wal-mart yesterday to do some recon on some items and was talking to the digital camera lady. She told me that the store wasn't advertising it but that they were opening at midnight and letting any shoppers that were there in the store. Here is the catch, you could get all the doorbusters in your cart but you couldn't checkout until 5am to get the doorbuster price. This is a brilliant move by Walmart, keeping BF shoppers warm (30 degrees here) and having thm look at all your deals for 5 hours. I'm there!

Hey Dad2trips I am a teacher in Cleveland and live in North Ridgeville. What BB are you at? I plan on going to BB as well, are you the only one there?

I hid stuff today to test the theory. I want some of the cheap dvd's on BF so I hid the following dvd's - I am legend, wedding crashers, borne ultimatum, transformers. I put them behind the ugliest sheets I could find. I will go back on Wednesday to confirm.

I went to Walmart today and hide about 10 DVD's that I believe will be on sale on Black Friday. I hid them behind some sheets in a different part of the store. Think it will work?

My wife just informed me that she wants a GPS for Christmas. I have no clue what to look for or what brands to keep an eye on. The Sears ad had two Magellan models in their BF ad, there was $100.00 difference, is the more expensive model that much better? Any other hints or tips would be helpful. Thanks
