  1. Trade Gottapoints for Zap money. LOL. I could go with some money in my ING account....
  2. It's all your fault Brad! Panasonic DMC-FZ30 Under 200.00 would be awesome but I know that isn't even close to being realistic. If I could get it for that, whoever finds me that deal, I will give ALL of my GottaPoints to at the time that I purchase it (it wouldn't be an IF it is a WHEN)
  3. That's why we want Sirius over XM. Hey, when your main vacation place is 10 hours away.....
  4. Is there anyway that you can put when someone has a response to their userpage on the MemberPages page (the one that lists them all). It shows how many views it has, but not if there are any responses.....or do people get notified when they have a response?
  5. WAH! BRRRAAAAAAAADDDDD....it keeps asking me to log in (if I go to another site and then come back) even though I have the "remember me" box checked.
  6. The only thing that is coming up is the blue background and that is it. I haven't tried it since my last post so.....
  7. I am clicking the CHAT up in the top toolbar and it is coming up but before any wording or anything, a screen comes up that is asking me for my username and password and asking me what language I want it in (had to laugh at the Pig Latin choice. Wonder how hard that is to read).
  8. has it always asked for a username and password?
  9. I have been wearing my GD t-shirt just about every weekend when we go out. I know we get referal credit if someone uses the link we supply but, what if someone said that they saw a walking ad in Jacksonville? Since I am the only one in Jacksonville (as far as I know), do I get the credit for it or just a Thank you for promoting us letter? Also, could you respond to this via PM, I wanna see what is new about it!
  10. I said it on the other site but I will say it here. GREAT JOB GUYS! The site is now even better than before and I didn't think that was possable!
  11. Sue, I have a new Comcast DVR and I was trying to archive a Netflix DVD (mainly to see if it would do it....it was an anime series so no big deal) and the Netflix DVD's are copy-protected. I am not sure how many DVD's are copy protected at a regular video store but that was my trial and error. We no longer have a VHS player so I am not sure if the DVR could record a VHS tape while it was playing but, I was using Video On Demand yesterday and tried the same thing with the DVR and it wouldn't record that either. Hope that helps some.
  12. nada. we are saving money for a few things for Christmas and we might be gong up to VA for either one....we were just talking about this a few seconds ago
  13. 1) How excited are you about this years Black Friday? Not too much until I see the lists. 2) What's on your shopping list? What items? Nothing much yet. have to wait and see. 3) Parents, do you dread shopping for the hottest toys and/or video games? Not really because they don't get those things. lol. 4) Do you bring anything to sit on while camping out at 2AM waiting for a store to open? I'm thinking about getting a collapseable lawn chair. I would have to ask Chris. No, he has never had to get there that early. Since he is doing MY shopping, I try to make it as easy as possable on him....the happier Chris is, the more Leah gets. 5) What stores ads are you anxious to see? Wal-mart as usual, got some good stuff at Sears last year so..... 6) We're currently at 5,898 members ... do you think we'll break 10,000 members by Christmas? Easily. How many stay after that is the main question. 7) I can't wait until we upgrade to vBulletin forum software v3.5 with new features and goodies. Plus we're going to have several giveaways and prizes this holiday season. Is that supposed to be a question?
  14. You will so not be disappointed Nate. Brad and Ross do an awesome job here and the people who come in are usually all great.
  15. I did! I took a couple of months off though after Christmas or New Years. I did a Google search for Black Friday lists and I think this was the first site that came up. I liked what I saw. Lucky for all of ya'll.
  16. LOL guys. I see what you mean. I have a blast once the list comes out, just checking everything, getting a route down for Chris to make it as easy as possable for him. **Easy for Chris means more toys for Leah.** :rofl2: But, just the whole process is a blast and I think it has a lot to do with this site.
  17. Ross (and Brad too)....do you guys enjoy BF as much when you have to do so much of the work for it? Getting all the deals set up and everything verified and all that.....is it still fun? Or, is it one of those...."yes, its tough but, when we see the 'look how much I saved through Gottadeal' threads, it makes it all worth it." type situations.
  18. I am trying my best but it is more of just to save money in general. We are doing good at not touching our ING money and that is really our only extra money so I don't think Chris would be willing for us to take that out. I think this year is going to be really low key but that is fine. Forgot to add that, at this time, I am not really looking for anything. Maybe once the List comes out, I will see something that strikes my fancy but....don't need a computer, no new TV.....just got a DVR.....already have my down comforter..... Really the only thing I will TRULY want is going to be a new electric mattress pad but we can get those at anytime and usually they aren't on sale. With the possability that we might get to mve to a new house.......
  19. We were at a computer store a while back and they actually had a full sized keyboard that was flexible and you could roll up and the guy said that people bought them to use for their laptops, to make them easier to type on.
  20. don't forget to give yourself enough time to recuperate if you get a Non paying winner.....
  21. Chris couldn't get off that day.....one of the other ladies in his trailer beat him to it. We are hopeing though, that if the deals are really good, we can do the same thing we did last year and that was get everything a couple of days before and just keep the recipts and then go back BF morning and go straight to the service desk and get the money back that we would have saved. It took him a LOT less time doing it that way last year.
  22. yeah, the plans go Cellular AND DC. With Chris', we have the lowest number of calling minutes (with free nights and weekends) and unlimited DC. On my phone, since I only ever call him, I have no outgoing useage but I have unlimited DC.
