Summersfan, is there anyway you can rent a hotel room for the night? LOL. that way you don't ahve to drive all that way so early in the morning to get all the good deals? Gosh, it has been so long since I have been to a non--super Walmart! I don't think I would know what to do in one if it weren't a super!

How are those CD Cleaners and the wipes? Is that a good brand? With two toddlers and both of them knowing (basically) how to work the DVD player, we have a lot of smudged DVDs. I was wondering if those on the deal would work good or if there are any others that might be recommended....

Last year all Chris hit was Toys R Us. The year before, I was preggo with Alexis, due in Jan. and we didn't have a digicam so he went to Walmart. This year though, Wal-mart (if the deals are good), Sears and Toys R Us (if the deals are good). It is really going to depend on the deals. Since Chris is the only one that goes out, I have to be VERY organized on that day and have everything down to where he is going and what he is to be picking up so no side-tracking.

Well, I wouldn't be in that category. Although the choice about regular life being the extra-curricular and the computer/this site (of course) being the norm.....THAT would be me!

I have enough trouble seperating the toys between Patrick and Alexis! He is just a little too "exuberant" with them at his age. I am however, looking for the Leap Frog My First Leap Pad for Alexis when we are in the car. Of course, now the Leap Pad plus Writing is coming out and I am thinking she might like that better (she LOVES to write! came to me the other day and had written LEX out perfectly!) so, I need to find out how the LP+Writing works and if it would be good for her. Other than some Wiggles and Bob dvds for the two of them.....

Yes, Black Fridya is the Day after Thanksgiving. It is only that one day- the Biggest Shopping Day of the Year so a lot of the stores majorly slash their prices on a lot of things.

I think once more ads start coming in and they are atually CONFIRMED to being the true Black Friday deals.... They may have Walmart and Kmart but not many out there are going to ahve Sears!

Not sure if I am stepping on any toes by offering this but, what I did was just create a spreadsheet and copy/paste everything. I went through the things that I wanted to keep an eye on and shortened the list down to that (sorry, don't remember the exact words on the button you hit) and then just copied that into a spreadsheet....having the store names in the first column, the item in the second and then just f2'd the items in column B and got rid of the price and then just put the price in the 3rd column. That way, I can save the list to my hard-drive and take a look at it whenever I want and tweak it the way I want as well (ie. sort by price, store...etc.) and even color code the items as well.....

what does the scroll wheel do? I am interested.....maybe.....

I have to get my Sears card caught up on the payments....I also just recieved a new Cap. One card but it only has a 300.00 limit and Chris' Cap. One card is paid off, but, again 300.00 That is a good excuse for me to be able to go....since the Sears card is in my name..... And, it is still a small list so far (that you guys have) so, I am sure it will grow by the time all the ads come out.....but I think I found Chris the surround sound system he was wanting....that was one of the items I checked and he said we would look at it so that is a plus.

I love this list Brad! It is making things so easy, even this early in the game. I just went through it a few minutes ago and clicked off the things I wish to get (whether I can get them or not....) and sent the final list to Chris and he actually responded back with a little under half of my list saying that those were the things we would sereiously look at! For him to be able to APPROVE of what I am doing is very rare, especially if it envolves money! I am sort of bummed though because I want a pair of boots really bad for the winter (as cold as it gets down here in FL) but that is more of a "you have to be there to try it on" type purchase.....if Chris' parents come down, I might be able to talk them into watching the kids that morning so I can help Chris out (hehe.) There is NO WAY I am taking two toddlers to Black Friday, boots or no. ANYWAY, back to the original post.....thank you for this new feature and its ease of use. I have made a spreadsheet of everything that I clicked on but put the Prices in a different feild and then another feild is the sum of that one price column. I am up to 1349.xx so far...not too bad....hehe. of course the list will get added to and chopped and all that other stuff before the final showdown but it is still good to have....if Chris complains about the amount of money too much I can always say "Well, when I first started I wanted to spend...."

I have that computer! (I think!) Ours is an eMachine 2800....don't know how MUCH of a difference it is but we have been talking about getting Alexis a new computer. She has been using ours from 1998 and it is a bit outdated and messed up and all....might actually get that for her or else get that for US and give her ours.... Have I told you how much I HATE you guys!? QUIT MAKING ME SPEND MONEY DAMMIT!

Thanks you guys! yeah, that 400. one proabably wouldn't work....with the kids and all we were thinking of mounting them UP (sort of a mix of a project for me to pick out the mounts and Chris to hook it all up hehe.) That second link (the 200 one) looks really neat though. I sent Chris the link to this entire page so we will have to see if he can get into it from work, if not then I will show it all to him tonight. I would rather get his approval on one before buying anything. Super Bowl party here we come! LOL.

Yeah, it probably is 10% I am not good at Math. Chris is the accountant, not me and it makes my head hurt! :lol But, he gave me the go-ahead so, it is purchased. Of course I found 3 more things to buy....one for Alexis, one for Patrick and something for both of them to use. I conviently sent the Target link to MIL.... hehe. Man, I knew this ENTIRE site would get me into trouble! Found THIS and forwarded it to Chris and he actually told me to get it for him for Christmas! I think I had better go and mark this day on the calendar! I have been eyeing the Little Giant ladders for awhile now but Chris doesn't see paying THAT much for a ladder, so this is a nice compromise!

We have a DVD/VCR Combo and a cable box (Comcast on demand) The room would be the living room and is pretty much normal sized. I have no clue on how much to spend, I haven't done much research on Surround sounds so I am not really sure what the offers are and stuff like that. This is just my first phase, to see if I can't find a good deal and then see if I can get a BETTER deal. Our TV is relatively new- maybe a year or so old....

Anyone get me a good deal on a surround sound speaker sysetme or whatever they are called (LOL...nothing like being specific huh?) I don't know what it is....Chris wants a surround sound system here in the living room and that is about all I know.

no pics of the Jeep. It is Teal though! The last Jeep I had, I ran into a ditch and flipped it three times. Chris said that if I survived THAT in a Jeep we sure as Hell would be getting another one! Right now, Chris' Uncle has it since he wrecked his car and hasn't gotten one of the 3 trucks in his driveway fixed enough to drive. (I miss my Jeep! :cry)
