Last year the Foundation Fighting Blindness did Holiday Cards. They are member created (drawings, photographs...etc) and all proceeds went to FFB. You got 20 cards for 20.00 (+s/h). I haven't heard wether they are going to be doing the same thing this year, but I was wondering ahead of time, if you would be interested in purchasing the cards.... not a deal but they have a Thomas The Tank ENgine Aquadoodle at Toy's R Us. You can use the one thingy and it draws tracks on the pad and the included Thomas train will follow the tracks around as well as play music (dont know what music and Percy and another "friend" are sold seperately). I was SO GLAD Patrick wasn't in the room when this commercial came on.

I wonder if they have the same deal in the actual store.....those are really cute sets.

dammit, it keeps putting me at a screen that says "Low in stock....please enter your zip code so we will know if we can ship it to you" and it doesn't do anything after htat. Is anyone else getting this and how do I get beyond it?

They are playing NGE on Adult Swim on Saturday nights at 12:30EST (I think...maybe 1:30). Oct. 29th was the second episode. Don't know how much is cut out/edited compared to the box set but......

Sunroom. We can still see it in the front of the house and with all the windows reflecting the lights, it is really beautiful.

my phone never rings :cry seriously, I have the Nextel but it doesn't have any call-out minutes and it is only used to Direct Connect to Chris. We have the Verizon which is for family and I have Flight of the Bumblebees for Chris and Mom if they ever call. Aunt and BIL have their own rings as well but they never call so..... Chris set his Nextel to have my ring-tone (Ramba or Samba or something liek that) for whenever the housephone calls his Nextel, that way he KNOWS without a doubt that it is me and not anyone else.

Do you have a paper company in your area? See if you can get a carpet remnant and go to your paper company and see if they have any of the big cardboard rolls that the paper goes on (sort of like the papertowell rolls but way bigger and heavier) then just cut the holes where you want them and hot glue or staple gun the carpet. I am not sure if thise will be cheaper because when we did this, we already had an old carpet and Chris' dad works at a paper company so we got the tubes for free.....

have you hit SIGN OUT and cleared out your cache and cookies and all that jazz? That might do something with it.

I was watching LIVE with Regis and Kelly this morning and I think they do a segment closer to the holidays about the top gifts and stuff like that. I would put this up to Brad or Ross since they know the most about the site and know what to say and how to say it (and since they are in the owners) to email their site and promote Gottadeal and see if they can give us a national plug. I wear my shirt just about every weekend whenever we go out. It has probably become my most worn shirt these past couple of months. I would wear it to go and workout but it is too heavy.

Thanks guys. I will probably be asking this same question again in a couple of weeks. We now have about 100.00 over the Z20 Z5 price but I told Chris we will wait until he has TWO straight weeks of NO RACK JOBS (which is where we are getting this money from) before we start looking since that will give us MORE than enough and probably even enough to get the Z30 if I choose to. Plus I think I am going to use some of this money to get a Christmas party dress but I have no clue how much it will cost....hopefully not close to 400.00 Chris would downright kill me!

There is a post in the BF forum about spreading the word about Gottadeal and in it there is a link that has the different countdowns that you can get. Once you get it, you highlight the picture and select COPY LINK LOCATION or soemthing like that. Then, you go into your USER CP and EDIT Signature and then click on IMG (Image) and paste that link location and that should be it. I do and send Chris out to get everything. Since he has to work that day though I think he will have to wake up earlier than usual. sometimes it is a joy not being able to drive. lol.

I mean, if you can call them that? Honestly, I have no clue. I found GD last year about this time and never looked at for any other sites so I have no clue there are any others out there. It is weird to see comments about other sites and competitors when I have no clue that they are out there and trying to be better than us.

ooh, that Faberware cooking set.......drool! screw the kids....we got all the gifts for them last year. Is that the price our competitors have to pay to get the stuff over to their sites?

it is so sad because I am drooling over those Springmaid Towells! *sigh* We have learned with the kids that they will play with one thing and one thing only no matter how much stuff they get so.....

It is free to register so that shouldn't be a problem and it is a good first start at a security system so to speak.

also what is your yard size like? We got a Black and Decker electric mower for like 80.00 I think (this was at the beginning of summer so have forgotten price) and it is good. With the price of gas that it is today, I am glad we went electric. We have a relatively small yard as it is so.....

I haven't decided which one I want yet. We are almost to having all the money and probably will by the end of the month. Then, Chris is going to take me to a camera store that has all three so I can play around with all of them to see which one I like the best. But, I figured I would get the ball rolling anyway and see what sites I can get the best deal for any of them on. Going into a store knowing how much you DON'T have to spend is a powerful thing.

That was the only way we got Patrick's Bob the Builder stuff last year. We will probably do it again this year for off the wall stuff.

She creeps me out when she says "I love you more than bunnies". DOn't know, just too creepy sounding.
