  1. I saw that monitor in Best Buy the other day, it looks like a decent monitor.

It's one per customer, I believe. They have no way of knowing that...
  3. Am I missing something or are there no sales on systems?
  4. Speaking of desk chairs, I always seem to lean to my left. The side support always comes loose and the screws on the bottom on the left-hand side fall out. Then my back hurts because it's not supported. I don't know why I shared that, but I did :).
  5. I can't wait for the ad scans, I can't wait for the ad scans! :gd_shake: :gd_shake:
  6. I think they should say "Happy Non-Denominational Holiday" but that's just my opinion.
  7. My Best Buy store hands out tickets approximately 30 minutes before openning.
  8. Sigh. Well directly in Chicago we have 9%... Much higher than others it seems.
  9. My local town (suburb of Chicago) tried desperately to keep Wal-Mart out. We got one anyway. The city of Chicago has mounted some of the most vocal protests against Wal-Mart, but I have yet to hear any Black Friday boycotts.
  10. Another Chicagoan here... But we vary greatly by city.
  11. That is correct. I apologize for the mistake.
  12. That is strange. Logistically speaking, why would they do that?
  13. Yay, yay!!! *Does happy dance, gets strange look from roomate* :).
  14. I use Virgin Mobile and have for a very long time. I'm on my third phone from VM... here is the plan: 25 cents per minute for the first ten minutes, inlcuding roaming, long distance, ANYTHING. 10 cents per minute after the first 10. 10 cents to send a text message, free to recieve. No setup fees. I know Boost Mobile has a great plan too, I may switch over. They have 20 cents per minute costs but much more expensive phones. Best Buy on the other hand has the Nokia Shorty for $9.99 AR, Friday and Saturday (Black Friday).
  15. The Ipod Mini is phased out... It's quite old, and it was difficult to obtain even when production was in full swing. Now it's no longer produced. But nevertheless, yes, people have experienced trouble with the Nano but Apple has responded admirably: http://www.macworld.co.uk/news/index.cfm?home&NewsID=12741
  16. They wouldn't go through all that trouble. Plus the legalities of such an act... Plausibly I could walk into BB with their "fake" ad and demand the prices are met. Actually, by law in some states they would have to meet the price. Even if it's a mistake, they have no recourse.
  17. Shuffle: Apple's cheapest iPod. No screen. Flash memory based instead of hard disk (great for athletic individuals, absolutely no skipping during jogging, etc.) Much lower capacity (512MB, 1Gig), starts at $99, but in all honestly will most likely be replaced the soonest with something else. Nano: Replaces the Ipod Mini. Very small in size. Color screen. Larger capacities than the shuffle (2Gig and 4Gig), starts at $199. Disk based. Available in black and white. Video: Replaces the higher-end 4th generation Ipod. Color screen, with video capabilities. 30Gig and 60Gig (HUGE), available in black and white. Starts at $299.
  18. Take that with a grain of salt... He must have had his undies in a bunch.
  19. The Nano would be your best choice. Apple's new line is: Shuffle, Nano, Video. I'm sure many retailers still have the old Ipods in stock, but otherwise...
  20. That's quite strange. Is this a first-time thing? Because last year BB only had one ad.
  21. Really? I browsed the ad and did not see this. What page, sir? Gracias.
  22. I really want the Virgin Mobile Shorty phone... only 9.99 with $10 instant savings and $20 MIR. I know that must sound like a bogus deal but I was supposed to buy that phone anyway. Apparently it will be available online. I'm quite excited about the Gateway (and Toshiba, but I really don't want to lose any teeth fighting over it, and I believe the Gateway deal will be available online).
