My Christmas club was 500 so that is my budget. I am already 99.9% done just have to pick up a few things and I'm done.

Nope don't feel bad. We are going to see them anyway so what is the difference if we are a little smarter then other people LOL.

BLACK FRIDAY the best day of the year!

I am usually in line no longer then 5 minutes but the longest line I have ever been in was at TRU two years ago I waited about an hour. It was wrapped around the store. I will not go near that store on BF ever again! You can't get down the aisles they have stuff so spread out it's crazy. I will price match at Walmart or go without!

I always go with my mom but this year she may not be able to go due to her knee replacement. But I'm sure I would be fine going alone. I'm going to highjack my mom's car tho it's a station wagon and I only have a four door taurus.

I live in NY and I hate the snow! I can live without snow all year round. I could live without on Christmas also. Driving in snow is like driving to hell I hate it my hands hurt when I get out of the car from the death grip I have on the wheel. I try to stay home as much as possible in the winter.

If someone is doing it over and over I say something I can't stand rude people. And someone needs to say something to them once in awhile.

My Dh would just stand there and keep the door open for everyone one BF so there is no sense in taking him He is to POLITE! So he is better off just staying home with our son and drinking his coffee

Last year I got my best deal online. My DH wanted a metal detector and I got a 100 dollar detector for 36 shipped on Walmart.com. Check them out around BF and they run some great deals. I also got my son a color Video Now and three disks for 60 with .96 shipping.

I hate people who think they own the parking lot and are in Bf land and don't even watch what they are doing. Just because it's BF dosen't mean you can drive like an idiot. The same thing happens at yardsales. I call it yardsale vision no signal just slam on the brakes park in the middle of the street and get out.

This is how I control the giddyness. SHOPPING! LOL I went shopping at my local outlet mall today and bought a few great deals. Helps take the edge off if your hunting down other deals LOL

I have in the past donated a toy. I alway drop some coins for the bell ringers and in my town we have Christmas for the Needy who stand outside P&C so I usually give to them also.

I have never had any problems with the no name stuff from WM I have the DVD player and a surround sound system that I bought 3 years ago.

Last year was cold but my first stop was sears in a nice warm mall so we waited in style.

Yep I walk around every year and look on the top shelves and in the Garden center at Walmart That is usually where they stash the big BF stuff. Like bikes, ride on cars for the kids and things.

I see people I see all the time but don't usually see people Ihaven't seen in a long time or just yearly.

Wow you are a crazy shopper! By noon I'm ready to drop. I come home and take a nap when I'm done!

I grew up Catholic and my Grandmother always did the nativity set in parts. First Mary and Joseph are there then Christmas day Jesus was there and the angles and shepherd. And on January 6th the Wise Men showed up in Bethleham. Then the Nativity went in the closet for another year. We didn't have a celebration but is was fun to look at the nativity when a new part was added.

Well I'm 31 so older is usually about 60 or 65. But if I where standing by you I would help you get in. Unless we wanted the same thing then the battle would be on! LOL

It never failes I usually get in line behind or in front of a very sweet chatty older lady. I know her life story by the time the doors open. I ususally try and help her get in without being mauled.

When I have been in line with someone who is pushy or just annoying I will block them to. I'm a larger person so I'm like a brick wall there is no going through me! Or my mom and I will each grab a cart and get in front and block them also. Ah Black Friday I just love it!

There is another subject do you really doll up your gifts for the family or just wrap it and call it good? I just wrap it for the kids I figure they don't care about wrapping. Packages for the family outside of my home I wrap a little nicer.

I remember going shopping with my mom, aunt and my Grandmother when I was a kid and that was 25 years ago. And we always called it Black Friday. My grandmother would always say at the end of the day "what are we crazy for going out on Black Friday" But we always went every year anyway.

I put up the tree a few days after Thanksgiving. This year I got a 8' foot Christmas Moose last year on Clearance for 8.00 at WM. Can't wait to put it up!
