I tell him what I want and he gets it and usually one other little thing that I didn't tell him to get. It's nice to know I'm not getting something I will never use.

I'm in Upstate NY and this year I need a team with me my mom is out of order for awhile so I have to shop myself. And I'm going for one of the GBA at walmart! I need back up!

Nope not until after Thanksgiving. And in December Fox family starts the 25 days of Christmas my son and I love to watch all the old claymation cartoons.
-
Yeah we could ban together and make sure everyone gets what they need. Nation wide we could be a force to reckon with!

If she likes to travel like my mom she would probably love it they are just the right size to travel with

I get through Walmart so quick I usually don't have to wait in line. I know what I want get it and get out of there.

I just movesd into a bigger place so I do have a room now to stash everything in. It's nicer then the closet I used to have.

I'm in a group for mom's with kids with dissablities and we have a cookie exchange every year. We get together and eat our brains out and talk all day. It's a blast! It's alot better the stressing over what to buy someone.

I have done that. But if it's a special purchase like it has and extra that the shelf one dosn't have it will not ring up at the sale price.

elena fudge is super easy to make. I know it intiminated me at first but now I can make 4 batches in a half an hour. And that is about how long it lasts around here too!

I think it would be a good idea to see if either you mom could go with you to the in laws or everyone could come to your place. I would not want to leave my mom alone on Christmas if she where all alone.
-
I might just start this weekend. I hate freezing my tush off putting them up.

I got a 8 foot Christmas Moose last year after Christmas when Walmart had them for 8.00 regular 39. I can't wait to set it up!

Definitly the thrill of the hunt is a factor with me. Sometimes I go when I don't really need anything it's such a rush just being there.

My mom never pushed Santa on me so I never really had the real or not real issue. My son on the other hand I have used the whole Santa deal with him. He is 8 now and is tettering between believeing and not believeing. I think he will just come to the conclustion himself that there is no Santa. But if he came out and really debated the issue with me I would have to give in and own up to the myth.

Do You have your Christmas tree Lights Flashing or NonFlashing
starshine replied to ohio_gal1959's topic in 2005
Non flashing it distracts me to much with the flashing lights since we usually have the tree near the TV. -
if you want a pretty instant reply you could have your daughter email santa. My son loves it and Santa will email her every week or so with news form the north pole you can even pick a elf to email her. My son loves it. Here is the site address http://www.claus.com/index.php

I would look on Ebay or at your local gameing store for second hand systems. I have bought them for my son and he is just as happy with it. It may not be exactly the system they want but at least it's something and usually the games are cheaper for on old system. Also maybe you can call some churchs and find out if they would give to your nephews. I know it's sometimes hard to ask for help but that is what they are there for. I know my town has Christmas for the Needy that is set up for people in your situation.

I got my Son one of the cheap BF bikes two years ago and he is still riding it. It's been really roughed up but it's still in good shape.

The Doodle Monsters are 10 dollars also. My mom picked one up for DS yesterday.
-
I buy my cats some cat treats and give them to them Christmas morning. We have a new kitten so I will get some toy mice this year also.

Last year my best gift was a plain brown envolope filled with pictures that my Aunt gave me. That was the best gift I ever recieved. Both of my grandparents are gone now and my Grandmother had a stack of albums skyhigh. My aunt went through them and split them up between everyone. Also she gave me my grandmother christmas tree ornaments. Every year it's nice to have a part of Grandma and Grandpa still with me at Christmas time.

I have a bunch I love. A Christmas Story, White Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life, The Grinch to name a few. My son and I love when they do the 25 days of Christmas on Fox Family. I love all of those old claymation cartoons.

I make Peanut Butter fudge, Christmas cookies, no bake peanut butter cookies, and chocolate peanut butter pie. Of course I love Pumpkin pie with lots of Whipped Cream also!
