See, now that you've discovered GottaDeal you can stick around all year round and get good ideas all year long... Back in July I got these awesome candle sets, 20 pieces and very nicely packed, for $4.00 a piece shipped, I bought 8 and voila, they're ready for the teachers!!

I'm with everyone that voted for A Christmas Story... my 3 yr old loves that movie and I swear to you for a while this summer watched it twice a day... she calls it "bb gun" and can tell you everything about it, right down to what Ralphie got for Christmas and that the Bumpuses dogs ate the turkey!!

We have had a tree with blue lights and silver and blue ornaments every year.... I want to do something different this year though.... not sure what

We have one too, same hard drive as the IPOD and it's worked very well, no problems with it, and it was cheaper than the IPOD

There don't seem to be as many freebies as there used to be.. once Compusa had Encarta for their giveaway, that was cool

At mine they just put them in the middle on the big aisle that circles around the store and the one down through the middle... they're easy to spot once you get in, the trick is figuring out whats on each one... but most times there is someone there with more cajones than me that lifts or tears up the side to see what's underneath!! I went to one that had maps made up and the employees had them and gave them out, if you're in one early ask about that.

Our van is usually chock full so there's no way to really "hide" the stuff, but the windows are tinted dark so that helps a little.

Of course I still get up and get the paper first thing, but I am still a little disappointed when there's no surprises........Sometimes though there are stores that we didnt' get on line that have deals as well, which can end up totally throwing off our game plan. We have a brandsmart for instance and though we knew exactly where we were going until the had the Gameboy Advance SP's last year for 69.00. Had to restrategize then!!

When you come home do you pass out worn from all the shopping? Or do you do anything special? My husband cooks while I'm out, we make Turkey because we spend Thanksgiving at a family members house and never have leftovers. Then we have a nice dinner and decorate the tree at nighttime. What do you do?

Who is in retail and has to work on BF? First of all do you hate it, or is it a challenge and gives you something to laugh about for the rest of the month? As for secrets... is there anything you know that we don't? Any items that your store is stocking up on, any Price Matching Tips, Which doors typically open first the mall entrances or the outside entrances? Give us what ya got we're hungry!!

It depends on how many big ticket items you want..... if you have a couple, you may want to go to one that is closed and be near the front of the line, if you know where you're going you have a good chance of getting more than one item. If you don't, at the stores that are open everyone is in the store, poised over the pallet of items that they want and you may not get anything else. On the flip side if you have a number of items you want to PM from other stores, or things that you don't think will go as fast, go early to one that's open. Fill up your basket with the PM items and stuff that's not on a pallet, then wait near the pallet of the item you really want and be ready to go when the doorbusters start.

Both of them are very cute, but keep in mind when buying Noah's Ark that it comes with a few animals, but you have to buy the rest in another pack... so if you're torn the other might be a better choice

I don't think my girls are into them, but if they are there when I'm getting other stuff I will grab a couple to put in the prize closet, can't beat that price

Brad and Ross.. Once we have a few shopping lists in there is there a way to post a list of the top 10 most popular items on the lists? This will give us an idea of what people are going for and that we might want to get to a certain item first to be guaranteed to get it.

If it's a great deal I buy a couple and put them in the prize closet, that way when the kids tell me they have a birthday party to go to, or a co-workers kid has a party I don't have to fork out 20 bucks ... I just get a 5 dollar item from the prize closet that looks like it costs 20 bucks!!
