Nope, while there is profit potential on BF, no nearly close to what the PS3 brought. Nor does the hype of BF even come close to comparing to the PS3.

I would be surprised to see apple have an BF type deals. The margin on Ipods is very small, so deals/sales are rare.

I would pay more just for the name by itself. Im not paying more for the little panasonic logo. Im paying becuase I know panasonic plasmas are tried and tested. While the Vizio is getting good reviews now, what about 3-4 years down the road. They havn't been out long enough. On paper, the 2 are quite comprable...just don't know how each will hold up in the long run. That said, you probably get get the Vizio covered for an extra 5 years for the same price of the Panasonic which would only have a 1 year warranty (2 if you have a good CC). I can't say for certain the the Panasonic is worth more, but I think I would still pay more for it. As irrational as that sounds, I just don't fully trust the Vizio yet.

Well, its got a $200 MIR which isn't that bad, but I would go with the Panasonic 50" for $2k. I think it's a better deal.

Don't know where you got this info, but it isn't true. You can get as many tickets as you want, as long as you don't have 2 for the same item.

OP, just so you know, that this is a projection. So in your mind you might be picturing a extremely slim LCD TV when in fact this is a projection TV. It is faily slim for a projection TV, just not a slim as a LCD TV would be.

I think that working will vary store to store and it all depends on the store manager that is there. I think 1800bestbuy and each store are not on the same page.

I like the fact that it is on Friday normally. Along with Turkey, hanging out with family, and watching football...my Thursdays are booked.

The thing there is that if they have already met the minimum number per store and have sold that many without other stuff, they have no obligation to sell you one at the advertised price.

I will be hitting up CompUSA after 9pm to see if I can snag a free after rebate bluetooth headset. I will then head over to BB. Depending on the lines at that point, I might spend the night at BB. After buying all my stuff @ 5am and going home, taking a shower, etc. I will then work from ~8am until 10pm. Yay for 14+ hour shifts!

On the front page it specifically states that the items on the last page are the items that arn't available until 11/24 @ 7am.

I was waiting for the compUSA ad wishing a Viewsonic LCD HDTV would show up on the cheap. Sadly, I am bamboozled. Depending on the length of the lines Thursday night, I will be camping at BB for the HP $379 laptop and picking up a few other things.

Depends on the store. Say X = 10 and they get in 20 laptops, the 10 leftover arn't all going to be installed with other stuff, but a big majority of them will be.

Why pay $30 for a 2gb card when you could get 2 1gb cards at CC for $6.

That would be sweet if all the things in the middle of page 1 were free after MIR with activation.

BB will give out X amount of tickets for each computer. They will have available X number of computers to meet X number of tickets given out, which also matches the X minimum number per store listed in the ad. In addition to the X number of computers, they will also offer Y number of computers with "extra" add-ons that they charge to install. Once the X number of computers are gone, you are only left with the Ys.

In my experience, BF and cell phones is unimpressive. Usually places like Amazon.com have better deals anytime of the year.

That is fine if that is all you want.
