I think you're right about it depending on the particular store. The store I was at the associates were helping people get into the pallets early. As I said I never saw them on a pallet but I wasn't particularly looking for them either so I have no idea how they were being distributed. I only know I saw a lady with 3-4 in her buggy before 6PM..

OK. So earlier this morning I got 2 emails from them saying items were ready for pickup! Both are DVD's, BBT 9 being one of them. I am still, however, waiting on two other things, one big one. The statuses of the DVDs never changed from processing either. Seems their system is having issues keeping up with demand......still not sure I'll order next year during this time. We'll see what happens with the rest of my orders. Off to pick them up before something else happens. LOL.

Got my Y2U reward email this morning. Got a Happy Birthday $10 card in the mail yesterday for my December birthday and 25% off through 12/5. Looks like I'm going shopping again. LOL

I'll give mine another 24 hours then try another online chat. BBT9 is one of the DVDs I ordered. Thanks for the info!

Nope.......that's part of what my items are and specific gift requests at that. I will be ordering mine from Best Buy from now on I guess.
-
I hope you all get your items! Based on what I was told I don't have much faith that I will get mine.
-
I know. I let the poor guy have it even though I know its not his fault. All of the items in my order are in stock again too at their normal price. Hopefully you will get those iPads since your delivery date is still a week away! I know there is risk involved with online ordering during BF week but the only problem I've ever had in several years was with Kohl's and they made it right, no questions asked.

Got the last of my Best Buy orders today. Very very pleased with my BB experience again this year, unlike Walmart. Printer, 4 blu-rays and a new memory card for my camera. Big trip to Wizarding World Harry Potter coming up in 2 weeks so I needed a "bigger" memory card.

For anyone interested, I just spent and hour waiting for a customer service representative to be available to chat online. After several long minutes, he informed me that my orders had not processed properly (well duh.....) and he was going to try to push them through. If their fullfillment center finds it possible to process them then the items will ship, if not cancelation city. And depending on the outcome, which I think I can guess what that will be, I will be done with online ordering from Walmart for ship-to-store. I will have lost two very important Christmas gifts, not to mention the cheap price on S9 Big Bang Theory. Lesson learned.....Best Buy for any DVD's/blu-rays. I got the last of all my orders from them today.

Perhaps the fallout has begun? I'm trying to dig deeper into the status of one of the orders and the customer service page says they are experiencing severe phone line issues preventing calls from being answered. Wow. I really don't have a good feeling about my orders at this point. One was due for pickup tomorrow and the others for Thursday.

Nothing elaborate here. Net lights on the boxwoods, pre-lit wreaths across the front. I have some spiral trees I may or may not put up this year. The newest addition, if Walmart ever ships it, will be the 56-inch fluffy snowman. They better not cancel that order! Grrrrr

I had $15 to spend from an earlier shopping spree so I applied that to my BF order. Earned another $15 last week that I spent on a Fiesta Ware teapot. Been wanting one of those for years! Can't wait to get it.

My vote is to stay the same but i could see some benefit to just having say all the Walmart discussions under a Walmart general subforum

I made 3 orders for 4 items when Walmart's sale went live online and 2 of the 3 are still "processing". All of them had estimated arrival dates of this week so it's not looking good for me. I swear if Walmart cancels my Big Bang Theory S9 DVD I'll stop online ordering with them altogether. I should have gotten it from Best Buy because I would have had it by now or at the very least it would be in transit.
-
All but one of my orders is still " processing". Meanwhile all of my Kohl's and Best Buy orders have been received or are on track for delivery tomorrow. I do not understand why it takes Walmart so long to ship items out. They are supposed to have one of the most sophisticated distribution programs in the world yet routinely are beat by Kohl's and Amazon...........grrrrr

Preordered "Secret Life of Pets" blu-ray today. 15% off plus extra 5% with my red card plus $5 gift card coming my way for preordering. Grand total $17 and change. May end up being cheaper elsewhere when release date hits but a Target gift card is always welcome in my house.

The Walmart that I was at Thursday had them because I did see a woman with several in her buggy. I never saw them myself on a display though.
-
Yep, although I've seen plenty of yellow-vested "helpers", they aren't really helping and no candy canes. I've been to the small Walmart here 6 times since Thursday....... still I can't complain about the Black Friday experience Thursday since it was the best I've had in several years.

Went back to Walmart today and picked up about 8 movies. Most of the housewares and electronic items are gone. What's left seems to be the usual clothes and what appeared to be an untouched pallet of the art set. Now I'm for real done. -

The small Walmart I went to was dead at 4 pm when I got there. I mean there were a ton of buggies and usually there's not one to be had. We walked around at will for at least 45 minutes then decided to plant ourselves in the checkout line. The closer it got to 6 pm the more crowded the store got though. Anxious to go back tomorrow morning and see what's left. -

Black Friday 2016 shopping is officially in the books for me. What I got online: Kohl's: 5 bras, 3 Big One throws, a pair of gloves, Holiday scarf, Holiday broach, mattress pad, holiday outdoor mat, Tek gear sweatshirt, 2 St. Nicholas Square travel mugs for coworker gifts and 2 pair of Cuddl Duds lounge socks. Best Buy: Bella air fryer, Sony Bluetooth speaker, HP printer, 5 blu-rays Walmart: 56' Outdoor Snowman decoration, Beauty and the Beast blu-Ray, Wonder Woman fleece PJ's, Big Bang Theory Season 9 DVD Walmart in-store tonight: 2 packs of washcloths, McAfee software, the Altec Lansing mini Bluetooth speaker, 2 of the $4.88 board games for work toy drive. I REALLY wanted the Pioneer Woman cookware set but I have got to give my credit cards a rest now. Walmart store experience was the best I've had in years. Regardless of the past rules, the Employees were cutting the plastic off the pallets by 5 so mom and I got everything gathered up and parked ourselves in the checkout line. We were first in the checkout line so once the registers were "live" we were checked out and back in the car at 6:04. Back to the house by 6:10 CST. Happy camper. -
I just got the 56' snowman from Walmart

YES! Zootopia and Dawn of Justice finally switched! Off to bed I go!
-
A couple of the movies I wanted have switched to BF prices but not the two most wanted...... ..Lordy I'm sleepy.

Thanks for the heads up! Went back and ordered that for myself!
