  1. Hope to buy another one for my sister when I hit Target next. Then I'll be done except for my mother unless I see something in the ads and I change my mind on the gifts I have already bought. It has happened.
  2. That's very nice and a sweet deal. I like it better than the bag I bought myself there last week.
  3. Stackable Jewelry organizer for those who need a lot of storage. https://www.amazon.com/Earring-Organizer-Tray-Stackable-Cufflinks/dp/B01MXM9VMW/ref=sr_1_18?ie=UTF8&qid=1508891881&sr=8-18&keywords=earrings+storage
  4. Yes to Home Depot trees! The one I have now is from Home Depot but it doesn't switch light colors. This makes me want to get a new one although mine is only two years old. LOL
  5. People fighting over those darn sheets and towels never ceases to amaze me. LOL
  6. For your daughter or granddaughter who loves superheroes, especially Wonder Woman https://www.amazon.com/Wonder-Woman-Fleece-Bathrobe-Medium/dp/B075MTZP95/ref=sr_1_11?ie=UTF8&qid=1508804570&sr=8-11&keywords=Wonder+Woman+toys
  7. So I'll be the odd one out and say Walmart. Full disclosure though....the store I go to is in a small town so it is a smaller Supercenter. It's like old home week Thanksgiving night because I always see high school classmates, former teachers, people from the church I grew up in. Makes the passage of time while standing in the various lines entertaining.
  8. For those who have to go to work in winter weather, especially ice. These are great for walking on ice. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0094GO9DA/ref=abs_brd_tag_dp?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
  9. I don't really have a strategy. If I haven't already purchased family gifts then I scour the ads for ideas. Beyond that, the majority of my Black Friday purchases are for myself and/or the house. I enjoy looking through the ads for things I might want and/or need or those things you see that you never knew you needed until you see the ads. Once I find things I want/need, I make a list of the stores, the items and the times the online sales start. Walmart gets a separate written list on its own since that is usually the bulk of my shopping. Most other things I have been able to get online the last several years.
  10. I would buy now. Kohl's has a great return policy so if you find it cheaper later on, return the more expensive one. Once in the return window, I usually buy when the item is at a price I am willing to pay. If by chance I find it cheaper later on, I return the higher priced one.
  11. I have the app and unless I'm missing it somehow, there is nothing there yet.
  12. For anyone that enjoys painting but needs that little bit of extra help.......like me. https://www.amazon.com/Landscape-Paintworks-Christmas-Beginners-Frameless/dp/B07239N8N8/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?ie=UTF8&qid=1508596488&sr=8-2-spons&keywords=unique+gifts&psc=1
  13. Am I the only one that can't see the ad?
  14. Novelty item for the lovers of french fries in the family. Or if you want to be all healthy about it, your veggie sticks. Comes in a set of 4 https://www.amazon.com/4-pack-French-Dipping-Veggies-Removable/dp/B014RORS8Q/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1508529868&sr=8-10&keywords=french+fries+holder
  15. Ah, Service Merchandise. I loved that store. I bought my first good quality Hoover vacuum there many years ago and just two years ago had to replace it. Memphis also had Fred P. Gattas stores that were similar in structure to Service Merchandise. My mother, aunts and grandmother would always head there on Black Friday every year for gifts for the grandkids. Mostly jewelry for the grand girls.
  16. For the Jane Austen/Classic Literature fan in your life.....Jane Austen novely socks and comes in two color choices. https://www.amazon.com/Socksmith-Womens-Novelty-Socks-Austen/dp/B01HWVLE0O/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1508418014&sr=8-7&keywords=jane+austen

  18. Ordered a calphalon pan for my dad and a pair of Jane Austen themed socks for a friend from Amazon yesterday. Now if only I could come up with something for my mother,,,,
  19. Never ever easy
  20. That's hilarious!!
  21. I was able to pick up a few Packers items for my sister while in Minnesota and Wisconsin this weekend so I am happy about that since she will not be expecting that.
  22. Those darn cheap movies. I keep buying and buying and I have some from two years ago that are still wrapped in their plastic. I just never get around to watching some of them and some them make me scratch my head over why I even bought it! LOL. My goal this year to control myself over them. It's debatable whether I will be successful.
  23. I'm ready for the ads madness!
  24. Headed to the Twin Cities tomorrow for a long weekend to include a trip of the Mall of America for my first time. I am so hoping I can find a few gifts there at stores I do not have access to down here.
  25. I have a pair of Jaybird x2 Bluetooths. The info says you can get an 8 hour battery life but I cannot verify that since I havent had a need to use them for more than a couple of hours at a time since I got them Christmas 2016. I do love them though. They Have a great sound and I think they are easy to use. Plus they came with a storage case, which was a huge plus for me.
