LOL! I saw the same thing last year at Walmart only it was the meat aisle. Some dude was trying to buy a package of meat, which was blocked by the DVD's. All I could do was wonder if he really was that stupid or if he was doing it on purpose......smh

Has anyone seen a date yet for the $29.99 Echo Dots? I was given instructions to get these for gifts recently so I need at least 2, maybe 3 and it sure would be easier to get them from Amazon than at the other stores that are advertising them as doorbusters on BF.

I’m a very picky B&BW scent girl so I’m normally not interested in these bags but this one looks interesting to me. Can someone remind me how much the bag is and how much you have to spend just to get the bag?

Growing up, My mother’s side of the family was kids only plus grandparents and grandparents would give each of their children and their spouses a gift. Aunts and uncles didn’t gift each other. Now that both grandparents are gone my mother and her sisters have started exchanging gifts with each other again. My father’s side was a free for all. In the words of Oprah, “ you get a gift, you get a gift, you get a gift.....everybody gets a gift.” They were simple and small gifts but no less appreciated than any other gift we received from anywhere/anyone. It was chaotic and fun since there was probably three times the people on that side than on my mother’s side.

I've only done it on a rare occasion. My "circle" is small and I have the worst luck so I'm afraid it will come back to bite me in the rear.

Now that all the ads are out that I was waiting on, I'm the same....going out for the fun and camaraderie. I might actually try out Home Depot for the first time for the batteries. LOL. The only must-have left on my list is an iPad and I hope to order that early online from Target or Best Buy. If not then I will camp out at Walmart. There's a few other things I wouldn't mind having like the Bissell Carpet Cleaner from WM but it won't be the end of the world if I miss out on them. Of course I'll get my usual Kohl's throw(s) and bras early next week online.

Lowe's was underwhelming for me so now I'm down to just Sam's.

I'm so afraid this is the what will happen with Walmart site on Black Friday. I'm going to try to order an iPad online to avoid going after that in store.

Pre-Walmart Thursday ritual consists of going to Walmart on a recon mission in order to have an idea of where things are. The maps are not helpful for the stuff we are usually after. After that it’s naptime for a bit to sleep of Turkey Day lunch. We usually head back to the store around 4 PM.. Post Walmart ritual is going to Sonic for a drink. Sometimes I get food and sometimes I’m content with leftover pie from the lunch festivities. We don’t really have a Friday shopping ritual since we don’t always go shopping on this day. Every store but Walmart and Dollar General are 45 minutes to an hour away.

LOL! Glad I'm not the only one who had way too much fun with them after I got it all set up. As far as confusing Alexa, I've just been saying "living room on bright" and she will do that. Or tell her what percentage of light you want. Too many words and she seems to get confused. Of course it could be my accent.....Siri hates me because of that.

Hoping to get my stuff early and online so when I go out to the stores it will be for fun and browsing.

will be Walmart unless I can order the iPad and Bissell carpet cleaner online in the early AM. If I can get these online then Target it is unless I catch the Echo Dots on Amazon at the same price. Hopefully I can manage that as well.

I'll be getting one from Kohl's tomorrow when the Veteran's Day coupon is available for use. I can beat the BF price on the Duo with all my coupons and rewards. One more thing off my list.

No McAfee. That's a bummer. Been getting mine on BF from WM for several years now. And since I'm banning cheap movie purchases I don't see anything I want except the Bissell carpet cleaner and that's just a maybe right now.
