Never did get a paper. I don't subscribe and I never made it anywhere to get one. This must be the first year in many that I've shopped without a paper ad in my hand. Wasn't too bad actually since I knew what I was after for the most part.

I ran into this all day today!

Left the house at 5 AM. Not a soul at Home Depot yet so I went across the street to Walmart and roamed around in there checking out what was left. They had tons of Pioneer Woman cookware sets left. That was a bit surprising. Of course there was the usual lots of the Rubbermaid container sets, the BH&G mixing bowl etc sets, tons of sock bundles and lots of slippers. I saw several of the Rokus and some of the bluray players, DVDs of course. I managed to find one of the steps stools left so I got that, a pair of the slippers and the cheap washcloths. Went back to Home Depot around 5:40 and got in line. I was probably only 20 people deep in line. I had the best time here. I grabbed 4 of the HDX 27-gallon storage totes, the batteries, $4.88 outdoor mat, a $1.48 bucket (LOL), two $19.97 Husky 700 lumen flashlights, the $24.97 Husky 12V inflator and the $9.97 Defiant handy lantern. I'm thinking I could stand to go to Lowes now.

Shopped the nightmare Best Buy sale last night. I was able to order the $249.99 iPad but I do not have a good feeling about it actually shipping out. Also ordered my yearly copy of Big Bang Theory after much trial and error. I hope it doesn't get cancelled either. Today I decided to try to get an iPad in store just in case the online Best Buy order falls through. I did a recon walk through at Walmart and asked 4 different associates about the iPad location within the color coded area and none of them knew. I asked because they were not anywhere to be seen in a plastic-wrapped display. So, after this Target won the sale. I was probably among the first 60-70 people in the store and I didn't get in line until 4:45 pm. Picked up Cars 3 bluray on the way back to electronics to get in the Apple line. I was among the first 6 or 7 in that line. Target only had the space grey iPad which was not my preference but at least I have one if the online order ends up cancelled. This is the only place I went tonight. Online I ordered the Bissell carpet cleaner from Walmart. From Target.com I got Sing bluray, a pink Sonicare Series 2 toothbrush and 2 pkgs of replacement heads. All in all not a bad shopping experience with the exception of Best Buy. What a disaster that was!

Target was actually not bad. Went for the $10 Cars 3 Blu-ray and an iPad because I’m worried that the one I ordered from Best Buy will get cancelled. I really don’t have a good feeling about it. I chose Target over Walmart for these because my shopping buddy wanted to go to Kohl’s and they share a parking lot. Anyway, line to get in was orderly and moved fast once the doors opened. I grabbed the Blu-ray (didn’t even have to break stride) on my way back to electronics where the iPads were. Was only about 5 deep in the Apple products line. Got the iPad, paid for both and was out the door and back in the car at 6:25 PM. Color choice was disappointing in that they only had space grey but all in all a good experience. Don’t know that I’m going anywhere else tonight.

Thanks. I literally just got shipment notification of a DVD that took 2 darn hours to order but that's not the item I'm concerned about. It's the Big Gift so yeah, feeling antsy about it especially after the disastrous web site performance.

No shipping notice yet. Others in my family got theirs within 5 hours. It's been 12 for me. I'm starting to get nervous. I guess if I don't get one by later this afternoon I'll head to the store.

Good lord That was painful. I think I may have a duplicate order but I’m too tired to look into it tonight. Have since ordered one more movie without issue.

I've still got no email confirmation.....order isn't showing up in history while the first order is. Keeps logging me out too.

I'm not bailing yet. At least something is keeping me occupied until Target goes live.

At this rate Target will be live before anyone gets checked out at BB.......

I can't even get pages to load......LOL. What a disaster. I've been lucky with Best Buy every year until now.

App won't even work. I'm going to be sad if I miss out on my BIg Bang DVD.

Got iPad ordered with email confirmation. Now go on a second order of Big Bang Theory. GRRRR.

Was really hoping to get the iPad and the $7 Cars 3 bluray.... . Moving on to Best Buy for the iPad I suppose

Stuck on 181 items online now for some time now......ugh. I'm still missing 2 things.

One item ordered. Hopefully it won't get cancelled. Still waiting on two to switch over.

Target had a few of the large black display bins, some had merchandise in them and others nothing. Otherwise no signs of anything there. I didn't make it to Walmart today but still time tomorrow afternoon for recon if I end up having to go to the store for my items.

I'm getting very sleepy waiting......although I am really nervous about the website behaving.

Highs in the low 60's with zero chance of rain. Absolutely perfect shopping weather for me.

Only person in line at Best Buy at 8 PM CST.
