Santa came! Santa came! Finding that at my front door today was much needed after a day straight from COVID “heck”. I’m going to try to wait until my birthday (12/15) to open it since I’ll be spending my 50th at work, in COVID heck. Thank you thank you Secret Santa! I’ll post pics when I do open it.

Well the extent of my Black Friday shopping was going to Walgreens for a 39¢ Russell Stover marshmallow Santa Claus, a gift pack of Planter’s peanuts for $5.99 and an Amazon gift card. My bonus purchase was a Baby Yoda mini squishmallow. The rest of my shopping was about 90% online and here and there pick up of random items with all the early sales. Overall I spent more than I intended but then I always do.

I ordered my usual BF Kohl’s items several weeks ago when they did their pre-BF sale and took advantage of their curbside pickup for what I could. I must say I was impressed with how smoothly that entire process went because in the past when I’ve done store pickup I’ve had to wait for that seems like an eternity for someone to find my stuff. Best Buy curbside pickup was pretty efficient last week as well. Saturday I ordered a big Squishmallow from Walgreens for $10 and since things had been going so well at others places I opted for their curbside pickup as well. I ended up waiting 20 minutes before I decided to dig out a mask (thankfully I had one in the car) and went inside to retrieve it. I met the person in the doorway with my order, he apologized profusely for taking so long so I can’t fault them either. He said they had been slammed with curbside pickups since they recently started it and still working out some kinks. It works like most others I’ve used....tap the “I’m here” link, provide vehicle info and wait. The email actually says to call the store if you wait more than 5 minutes but goodness that doesn’t seem like enough time for someone to get the notification, find the merchandise, complete the sale and bring it to your vehicle. All in all I’ve been happy with everyone’s curbside pickup that I’ve used for BF shopping.

Well that was painful! I was trying to shop for an Angel Tree gift and use some KC that would be expiring before I could physically get inside my store this week to shop the deals and it took me a solid hour and a half to find clothes in the right size, in colors/patterns that I liked that I could do curbside pickup. My store had very little girl’s clothes for pickup today. I finally had to give up, settled on a jacket that was free ship to store. Fingers and toes crossed that it arrives before the deadline to return the gifts.

PAR-TAY!!!

62/46, 60% chance of rain. I won’t be going anywhere except to the kitchen to get another piece of chocolate pie for as long as it lasts. :]

Ok. I need some help. I finally found some Angel Tree tags in town today and I picked a 6-yr old girl for toys and games. Anyone with little girls out there know what a 6-hr old girl likes to play with?

LMBO! That’s kinda what my living room looks like because everything goes in the LR so I can see it! If I’m going to the trouble of pulling it all out and decorating with it I need to see it.

I may have to get that giant Baby Yoda. LOL!

So I have 3 trees. One “normal” sized and 2 pencil trees. I’ve Lso been collecting Hallmark ornaments since 1976 so I have tons of ornaments. Too many really. This year The big tree is all Hallmark snowmen, as it was last year. One pencil tree is fdeckrated with faith-based ornaments and the other is just my favorite miscellaneous ornaments.

I’m in a Hallmark Ornament group on Facebook and some say they have been able to use coupon codes on them. It’s sure worth a try as expensive as some of them have gotten!

Im still on the hunt for a box! Walmart stock of shipping boxes here is minimal right now! Ack!

Don’t see anything here that I need. Those $5 plush fur pillows caught my eye but not enough to fight a crowd for.

I got one 3.96 movie but I didn’t see very many either. There were only 2 rather small cardboard display things as opposed to the many there usually is. Honestly it reminded me of how they would consolidate the leftovers 2 days after the Thursday rush in years past.

I got my email that my Holiday Deals order from Wednesday night were ready for pickup. So, being me, I couldn’t not go to Walmart to pick that up and not go in the store. LOL. Seven hours after the sale began today, this store had a ton of stuff left. Kid’s PJ’s looked untouched. Lots of the Rubbermaid containers and the meal prep containers. Lots of TV’s and the cell phone accessories. For my tastes the movie selection was pitiful. I know there wasn’t a lot of new movies put out this year but still. I was able to get the Rise of Skywalker 4K. I picked up a box of the meal prep containers and a box of the electronic wipes as well and that’s it. Pretty lackluster for me at Walmart this year.

I’m an Apple girl so will always recommend an iPad.

I normally do the free shipping but given how this year has been I’m trying to limit the amount of packages that sit out at my front door for hours until I get home from work.

Ok, so I was forced to buy a comforter. I swear the curbside pickup guys are gonna know me by name soon.

Tried to get the percussive massager......no go. Sigh.... Update: changed to store pickup and my order went through. Who knows if that made a difference or not so now just hoping they don’t cancel the order.
