Another calendar page gone! I’m so ready for fall right now. Come on October!

Another month over, geez! The calendar says June but the thermometer says August. Stay cool everyone!!

I can’t believe May is already here! The weather is already in the 80s so yet again we bypass spring and jump straight from winter to summer. I’m gonna hold out as long as possible before turning the air on; hopefully the awful Missouri humidity stays away for a while.

Happy Easter! I wish I could say spring is here, but we are supposed to get 2-4” of snow this afternoon. But I am super excited that it’s finally April; I have a huge trip coming up in a couple weeks and I can’t wait! Time to get used to saying ‘bonjour’!!

Ugh, I wish we could set them forward one last time and then vote to never change them again! I need to move to one of those awesome states that doesn’t change anymore. I work 6am to 6pm so having that daylight last for a while once I get off work helps a lot.

I’m waiting for it to be available to rent so I can watch it; I’ve heard it’s good as well and I’ve never been disappointed with a Del Toro movie.

Wow, it seems like I’m flipping the monthly calendar pages really fast this year! I’m so ready for longer days and warm weather!

Glad your little one is getting better! My little niece was in the hospital for a week recently with bronchiolitis and pneumonia; seeing a 1 year old/any young child ill like that is just awful. But with all the poking and prodding they did and being in a strange place, the only thing that really upset her was if someone blocked the television! She loves her Disney channel! It’s been such a bad illness season; hopefully the warmup comes soon and everyone feels better!

Wow I can’t believe it’s already February! I just know the groundhog is going to curse us tomorrow with six more weeks of winter. Fortunately I’m heading for Vegas next week so I can soak in 65-70 degrees versus 25-30 degrees for a few days! I can’t wait!

Oh yeah, Missouri is not a fun place to be right now; these temps are awful! My only plans tonight are Netflix and hot cocoa!!

We are getting our first few inches of snow this morning; it’s so quiet and nice! Nowhere to be, just relaxing on the couch with a nice blanket and my awesome cat. I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas!!

Hmm I figured the pickup towers would be in a lot of Walmarts. They put it in when they remodeled the store a while back. It’s really big and tall, almost reaches the ceiling, like a bright orange color, and right up by the registers in front. I hope they become more prevalent because they are super handy!

My birthday is this month as well but I only got a $5.00 birthday promo gift! However it sounds like you may be a hardcore Kohl’s shopper whereas I’m a casual Kohl’s shopper.

I got to use the pickup tower at Walmart for the first time today, and that thing is awesome! Normally you have to go all the way to the back of the store and hope someone is around in layaway to help you, then they spend 15 minutes in the back digging for your purchase. With this tower, you just scan the barcode from your pickup notification email, and the tower moves your package down to a window that opens up and you take your box. Like it literally took all of 15 seconds! Loved it! It’s almost as awesome as the cupcake ATM at Sprinkles in Chicago. Almost!

I hadn’t planned to get anything from Target, but when Walmart failed to post their movie deals online Wednesday night, I went looking on Target for a dvd season I wanted to get for my mom. Sure enough, Target had it and at an excellent price! I ordered it Thursday morning and with free shipping of course, which they had on everything. What I didn’t expect though was that it would show up Friday on my doorstep, because they overnighted it for free!!! That was totally awesome! I didn’t need it early but it was fantastic that it happened!

I did grab a JBL clip speaker that I wanted online, but I was sad that they didn’t list all their movies online like they usually do. And kudos on the tracker updating; when Walmart went live Wednesday night, things were posting and updating on the tracker so fast, it was amazing!

Yep, that is usually what happens. Sometimes things pop up a little at a time, and some years it’s been difficult to get through checkout due to all the traffic on their site, but it’s gotten better over the years!

Haha I knew I’d wake up early with no alarm for this!! Looks like I’ll be able to get the new tv I’ve been wanting, some movies, the Fujifilm mini camera bundle, etc. I was hoping for a good deal on some Beats Solo 3 Wireless Headphones, but no stores have them in their ad, just the Studio Wireless. See you around 4pm Walmart!!

Wal-mart being fashionably late this year; they better bring it!!

People showing up 3 minutes before the sale starts and angrily stating that they better not miss out on whatever the item is they can’t get close to. Cracks me up every time.
