  1. Oooo maybe some Rubbermaid storage sets..
  2. 10 lords a-leaping into their snuggly beds
  3. I convinced my mom to finally switch over from a real tree to an artificial one, and Kohl’s had some nice ones to choose from, so that was the major online BF pickup from there. Plus you can’t beat getting $15 KC for spending $50. I like the novelty of a real tree but an artificial is just so much more clean. Other than that it was just a few odds and ends from Walmart.
  4. Back in the Black Friday glory days, my mom, my two younger sisters, and I (also girl) were out around 4am. We had been drinking coffees for a while and were hanging out in the car outside the local mall waiting for store openings, when youngest sis (around 22yrs) decided she needed to go. Like right now lol. So there’s us, parked in the back lot of the mall up against a hill at 4am, while sis did the hide and squat. Good times
  5. With sales lasting for so long, it doesn’t feel like things are really “Black Friday Exclusive” anymore. Back then you only had those one or two big days to grab deals. It was really an event!
  6. Yep, I had to check out hours online for our local Kohl’s since it isn’t listed in the paper ad we got.

They have several different colors to choose from and it’s a very affordable gift. Some color options are less than $10!
  8. I agree with the people saying there shouldn’t be kiddos out in the sales. Seeing them in the stores and knowing what was gonna happen when the sales started always made me nervous. But as Yondu would say; “they fit in places other people couldn’t. Good for thievin’.”
  9. Mine isn’t one specific single item but just the many great deals on dvds/blu-ray discs that I used to be super excited for. I mostly got them at Wal-mart but sometimes grabbed a couple from Best Buy before they left town. There was nothing more exciting than walking around the big cardboard stand boxes containing the movies and figuring out where the specific ones I wanted were located, then staking out a spot to jump in. Of course that plastic shrink wrap tearing sound will live in my mind forever. And always just a bit before it was supposed to start lol. Now I don’t even have a disc player hooked up due to streaming, but grabbing those physical copies back then will always be my favorite deal memory!
  10. Happy November 1! Can’t believe we already passed Halloween!

  12. We lost our local Bed Bath & Beyond recently. It’s a shame because they always had neat, unique things that I’ve never found in another physical store, especially around the holidays.
  13. I’m still sad we lost our local Best Buy store. I loved going through their movies.
  14. Walmart has always been our go-to for most things, but we just got a local Target store, so I’m excited to see what kind of deals we may get now that we have one to physically shop in.
  15. Our newly built Target just opened up recently; still gotta get in there and check it out!
  16. I’ll definitely go through the ads and see if there’s anything I need to snag online. I’ll check to see if my granny needs any of the food prep items. They usually have some good sales on kitchen things that she likes.
  17. We always buy kohl’s throws. Even if the ones we currently use are fine, it just never hurts to have a few stashed away for unexpected gifting and such.
  18. 1. This would be so much easier if I were an octopus! 2. We gotta ask for an increase in allowance! 3. I told you no one would care if we got dressed up!
  19. Happy October to all!! The temps finally dropped here so it’s super cool and crisp! So happy the heat is over!
  20. We’re finally getting some cooler temps; so ready for chilly weather!!
  21. Happy August to all! It’s a little less miserable this week heat-wise here in MO. I’m so ready for those chilly, rainy October days!
  22. I hope everyone had a good Fourth of July holiday! Just another hot day but once the sun was down, being outside watching fireworks wasn’t too bad. I’d still rather have year long fall!
