Same here... there were only blow up beach balls and blow up arm floaties individually marked down. There is lots I want in back to school $ spot... can't wait for it to clearance. There was a bunch of clearance in the "seasonal home stuff aisle" (don't know what to call it.) Besides that practically no clearance at my store. Did find soccer balls 70%. I have to remember to scan the clementine Method hand soap next time I'm in, thanks for the tip There is a buy 3 get 1 free Method cleaning items coupon on target.com.

The "back to college" stuff usually goes around then, but I don't know about the regular department stuff.

"Do they salvage the toys clearance or do they leave it out until it sells? Will we continue to see price drops on the items that are still at 50?" They might leave it out until it sells or might salvage it.... might continue to see price drops on the 50/30/15% stuff.... or it might get salvaged... I've seen all of the above happen over the last few years.

Wowzers, went to my store that did 70% markdowns late Wednesday afternoon last week. The entire toy department had been reset and there was only one, yes one endcap, with maybe 10 clearance toys left on it. I have a *really* hard time believing that allllllll those toys sold in just a week... wondering if they salvaged them last night... guess that's what I get for not going last night. I can't complain too much b/c I did find legos at 70% last week. Guess I'm waiting for school and $ spot clearance next. Would appreciate it if someone posts when they see $ spot clearance & I will do the same. I think it wasn't until early September last year but not sure.

I've always seen an item get marked down 2 weeks after it was last marked down (and occasionally 3 weeks.) I can't think of a time when I've ever seen an item get marked in back to back weeks.... hopefully someone will chime in if they have seen something different. I'll also caution that with baby one year I was stalking the big stuff waiting for it to go lower than 50% and I got there while they were marking down (excited) then they slavaged it all (huge letdown.)

Oh, and I remember someone asking about the bike trailers... only 50% here but someone else reported getting one at 70%, so good luck

Wonder it was by design to try to get more people to buy at 50%?

Just wanted to share that we made the pink lemonade cookies from summer clearance today and they actually are fairly good. I only got 2 boxes because they just didn't sound good to me, but at 18cents each I figured we'd give them a chance. Wish we had gotten more now. They taste kind of like sugar cookies with a pink lemonade flavor.

I got there at open. Markdown was in toys, had marked down those light-up lego-looking things down to 70%, and she was marking down giant rubber balls to 50%. I didn't ask her any questions b/c I never bother the markdown team. Also saw someone marking down shoes. Went to get a coffee to wait on her, came back and she had moved on to sporting goods. I didn't see anything else in toys that had been marked down from last night. Unless someone posts that they saw 70% today I'm not going to bother going back later this afternoon. I couldn't find anything from summer to scan to see if still 90 or salvaged. No, I think they will mark down again in the toy department next week, but different items. I don't think I've ever seen them mark down a particular *item* on back to back weeks.

Went back to target worried they may have marked toys later in the afternoon, but they didn't. I actually have my eye on several things this time. I have seen toys go straight to 70 from less than 50 every July/jan, so don't let that alone discourage anyone Markdowns seem to always go in 2 week increments, so whatever gets marked this week wouldn't get marked again for 2 weeks... Someone correct that if I'm wrong Did find Glad cling wrap at 90% tonight, said "summer edition" or something like that in big letters on right of box. There were lots of bagged coffees 30-50% that weren't marked earlier. Mostly archer farm brand, but also Starbucks, etc. Archer farms coffe coupon on target.com $1.50 off 2.

Summer was all gone here though I didn't hunt very hard for hidden items. Toys not marked down here today... anyone see them at 70%? Jealous of the sunblocks b/c none clearanced here at all. Saw some "big" baby stuff clearanced, car seats, strollers, etc, but didn't look closely b/c I didn't need any big stuff. There were tags for other baby clearance on the shelves, but were all empty. Not sure if they took them in back to mark them but I'm guessing they are gone since it is Wednesday and baby usually gets marked Monday.

Just saw somewhere else post that patio & garden is at 70%. At my store yesterday they were setting out school stuff and all patio/garden was stuffed in one corner.

Ugh... I totally forgot about $ spot clearance... it was all salvaged as of this morning here. On a brighter note saw lots of clearance in toys... hope some makes it to 70%. I thought it odd that there was almost nothing clearanced in baby... I thought that usually went at the same time as toys.

It usually happens right after a "holiday" if the $ spot has some "holiday" stuff in it... other than that I haven't sorted out any pattern. Hopefully someone will post if they spot it... I love dollar spot clearance.

I haven't paid any attention to bedding lately in particular, but in the past that has happened on occasion with things I've stalked. The two weeks is the "usual" pattern... there are always variations. Hope you catch them while they are marking down so you get best pick

Saw some cushions at 30% some at 50% here. Some yard chemicals were 50% here. Lots in the home department 30-50%. All ziplocs were gone here but trash bags were finally 50%. Some up&up paper napkins 50%. Graduation party stuff 30/50%. All beauty & food clearance was gone.. there was a lot last week only at 15/30%.

Anyone see the trash/ziploc bags drop to 50% or lower in the last couple days?

Didn't make it back to Target until today, but to my surprise one small set was left... at at 70%! It is Lego City Loader and Dump Truck, $5.38, 204-00-0453.

Went to 2 different Target today and they both had the odd 10% 20% stuff. Hopefully some of those trash bags and ziplocs will be left when they mark down further.Best find was 50% off Pull Ups boxes. They say "Pottty Training Starter Kit" on the box and also have a pack of pull up wipes *and* coupons inside including 2 or 3 $3.00 off pull ups coupons. So you can buy a box, open it, go back in and use the coupons on more boxes, and make the 50% off deal even better. Second best find was clearance Lego City that were 50% off. The "buy one get one 50% off City Legos" sale worked even on the clearanced city legos. The one I found at 50% was the Excavator Transport, 204 00 0490. There were a couple smaller sets at 30% off. Think I just got lucky on this one b/c the other Target had no clearance Legos.All the Dove men stuff, deodorants, and softsoap that was 15% went 30%.

Saw things marked at 10% and 20% today too... odd or are they moving to a new markdown schedule? Most of the 10/20s I saw were things like ziplocs, trash bags. Other than that all of the bulk is gone. Saw a bunch of bundled packages of personal care stuff on endcaps only 15% like deodorants but there were lots. She was marking down a bunch of stuff in furniture but I didn't really look closely.

Saw some bulk stuff marked down 15% today... hopefully some of it is left when it gets marked down to 50%.

"wouldn't it be cheaper to NOT use these bucks? and wait until i can use a discount code on clearance items and not have to spend what they want me to?" Well, guess that depends on how much you plan to buy. Most gymbo coupons are 20%. If you look at gymbucks purely as $25 off a $50 purchase... that is like having a "coupon" for 50% off.... if you spend $50, which I usually can do easily at Gymboree, and I too only shop their clearance. No, you cannot combine gymbucks with any other coupons, not even in b&m stores.

Still 70/50 here on Easter, scanned to be sure. I don't think I'll even go back to check tomorrow, though I really wanted more dye kits (we dye eggs year round... kids love it.) I miss the days when Target clearance shopping was fun and fruitful... well for me at least Saw lots marked down in bath stuff. Didn't really look because we don't need anything but there was lots of clearance in those aisles. Saw lots of kids room wall stickers 70%, mostly Disney... Rapunzel, Minnie, etc. Certain types of command wall hooks also 70%.
