Anyone see 90% on Easter today? Saw some reports on a less reliable blog than everyone here.

The first 3 items are urban legends, though they often happen to be correct, it isn't a "rule." The last item is partially correct, that little circle is the percent off, but the progression of increments it lists isn't necessarily true, plus it is rare to find 75% or 90% now. From my experience non-seasonal clearance usually gets marked down every 2 weeks on that department's markdown day, though that isn't always true either, sometimes it is 1 week, sometimes 3, sometimes other.

Really odd here today... candy 50%, all the basket/stocking stuffer things were 50%, and everything else easter was 70%. Have never seen that before, scanned to check. Went to a different store everything 70/50 like usual. No "hidden" finds but I wasn't looking very hard since still 50% at the one store. Dollar spot still 50% here too, hardly anything left.

I went back again today and they still have it here.

No idea if it was just my local Old Navy store or if others are doing it too, but all clearance marked $4.99 and under was an extra 50% off. I got 20 items for right around $20. Mostly long sleeve shirts and long pants, but some short sleeve, tanks, and shorts too.

Found some art sets and some stuff in stationary (mostly wrap/gift bags) 70%, but it was pretty picked over since it was a few days since markdown in that department.

Found many disney coloring books with crayons or paints 70%, in books section, not arts and crafts.

All the bulk was just gone at my store... I looked all over for any of it and all I found were some Tide detergents at 15%. Too bad. I saw some reports of bulk going to 50%.

Does anyone know/remember when bulk gets marked down? Is it the same day as the item's normal department, so would the bulk shampoos get marked down on Wednesday when the regular health & beauty gets marked down for example? Trying to figure out when to go back to check the stuff I want that is still only at 15%.

Valentine's 90% here today/ 70% v-day candy. Tons left here. No "hidden" finds, except heart shaped cake pans. I hoped to find that seventh generation laundry detergent at 50% but it wasn't marked down at all here Did find Tide marked down 30%.

So glad you found a good deal. Forgot to mention that many years ago we got a brand new high end fridge from a Sears outlet... it had a *huge* scratch down one whole side... the side that went towards the wall in that house... no one ever saw it and I think we paid around a third of original price.

Sears outlet if there is one near you. Some sears and Lowes have good deals on floor models or returns sometimes. Maybe craigslist. Good luck!

I found the "Mia's magic tricks" Lego friends at 70% DCPI 086021521 the first day of markdowns. All clearance legos at any price point are gone here. I did see several electric kids ride-in cars (police car, hummer, and 2 others I can't remember) at 70% yesterday at the Cordova store. I didn't notice anything else dropping in price in toys.

That's the way it seems to usually work here... one round of 50/70 then a week or two later the 50 either goes to 70 or gets salvaged at 50. A side note, I finally figured out where Target clearance ends up here... at a store called Dirt Cheap. I thought it was a store just for building stuff and had never been in it before. It is a mess, but for instance they had boxes of Target $ spot stuff marked 5 for $1. Yes, lots at all 3 stores I've been to. Most 30-50%, a few 70%. Curious if this was a baby doll size or a barbie doll size? Thanks

Here are my 70% toy finds. There was lots more, this is just what I bought. Seemed to be heavy with boy clearance this year... lots of superhero and hot wheel stuff in particular here. I went to two more stores today. One hadn't marked down and wasn't even worth my going back for, the other I found just a couple things. In addition to the pics I also got a few lego sets at 50%. I found a few other good 70% deals today: a fishing pole, some ponchos which I had been meaning to get to keep in the car anyway, a gerber tool and a gerber knife. They had a nice set of binoculars at 70% too but they were huge, if they were smaller I'd have gotten those too. Some baby stuff at 50%, some at 70%... I was surprised to find anything left this late in the week. I found some really cute boy zip-up hoodie with matching t-shirt sets for 70%... mickey, spiderman, and a few others. They were doing lots of markdowns in home stuff/domestics when I left but I couldn't stick around. A quick glance at what they had marked a lot of it went to 70%... frames, decorative pieces, etc.

Didn't get to my target that often does toys on Wednesday until late this afternoon. The markdown team was in lingerie, so I went around the rest of the store figuring they wouldn't make it to toys, but that team works quick! I looked for them right before I left and they were marking down toys, only took them about an hour and a half to finish the toys, and yes, quite a bit went to 70%! So happy hunting tomorrow everyone! I'll list finds later if I have time. There was tons of clearance throughout the store... I haven't seen this much in the whole store in a really long time. Toys was fairly small amount though... both sides of one aisle and an endcap... I'd say we usually have almost double that.

My store that often marks down a day early did mark toys this afternoon... but only to 50%. I stayed untill they finished and I saw only one thing marked to 70%... some game and I can't even remember what it was. I got one lego set at 50%, but most of the legos were still just 15%. I'll wait until 70% for everything else. Christmas was INF.

I just posted pics of my "hidden" finds.. things that might not appear to be in the holiday clearance. The little rolls of the washi tape i found dark red, gold, and green with white dot. The large tape dispenser was gray but there were a couple other colors in the big rectangular box. The scissors only the aqua blue colored ones rang up clearance at my store, but there might be other colors out there. The tape was the only one ringing up at my store. Also found one of the Kid Made Modern holiday sets, took a pic though I didn't get it. Holiday food was 70% here. Happy hunting to all! Sorry pics are so small... I can't get them to post bigger.

That 50% is disappointing to hear. I can't remember how low food stuff went last year but I thought more than 50.

I also haven't seen any other reports of 90%... asenap01 maybe double check the math to see if it was really 90%? It would be highly unusual for just one store to go 90% one day and zero others the same day or the next day. If yours was really 90% I'm jealous
