My apartment complex did not do a good job advertising the fact they were doing an Angel tree for some of the kids in our complex and today when I checked the mail there was a flier saying there were a few kids left who hadn't been adopted. I went to the office and there were 9 kids, 4 of which had half their list marked off as received. The 5 who had nothing marked off I decided to take on to myself as the deadline is Saturday. Needless to say, there is one little girl who is 7 and the only thing on her list is a Barbie house. I've scoured the Target's, Walmart's and TRU's in the area but no dice. And I can't find anything online either. Can anyone help me out? Are there any kind of other doll houses that FIT Barbie's? It's been years since I've picked up a Barbie and I don't know if there are non-Mattel options out there. Any ideas? All help is appreciated! :)

Mine had these too! I got 2 6ft. extension cords and 2 6 port power strips. Now I can plug in all my It's a Wonderful Life village!

I just found a RE (Room Essentials) 10pc Picture Frame set on one of the clearance end caps in my store. Regularly $24 but 50% off for $12. They also had a 5pc Collage Frame set for $12 as well. These are much better quality frames than the 10pc set I got at Walmart on BF for $7. Here's hoping I still have the receipt!

This made me smile and laugh out loud a little. I always think it's a tiny miracle when I find a spot so close to the door. And how cute for a teen boy to take his granny shopping! LOVE IT. This thread has made me feel soooo much better about the fist fight I saw in WM over $2.97 kitchen appliances. I went home immediately after thinking to heck with BF and ordered everything online. I've sworn of BF2011 all day but after reading this thread, maybe I'll drive to another WM and get away from the one in my neighborhood that has gone to the dogs in the last few years.

What I got? Free entertainment at Walmart, that's what I got. A lady punched another lady square in the face because the punchee had too many of those $2.98 kitchen items in her basket and the puncher didn't get any. Mayhem ensued as people shoved to get 40 of the same thing knowing dang good and well they only need 2 and will put the rest down elsewhere later. Cops showed, had discussion with the puncher and I didn't see the end of it because the dvds opened up and I had to get some for my bro overseas. Ended up with 3 $1.98 movies, 3 $5 movies, and 1 of the $7 10pc photo frame sets. The end :)

Damn...I wanted the classic and of course it's not on sale. Would've ordered it last week if I'd known that.

Just got home from Walmart. I went at 11 based on the reports stuff was being allowed in carts before 12...NOT the case in my store. Stuff wasn't even rolled out until starting at 11:45. I saw a lady get punched in the face for grabbing "too many" of the $2.98 food processor things. I got my dvds are the fighting calmed and I got out. It's 1:34 here, time for my line reports: Target on Eastchase in Ft. Worth, TX has 30 people and a few sitting in cars - NOT packed at all. Old Navy near NE Mall in Hurst, TX has a line at least half a mile long - it looks like they are being orderly and letting in a few a time. I passed. TRU near NE Mall, about 100 deep - I was not close enough to see inside the store. That's all I've got...time for bed!

Man I wish they'd say what the sale prices will be. I have 3 iPods on my list year and I don't want to get out to buy them if they'll be cheaper online than in the store but since the sale doesn't start til 8am, guess I'll be getting out and making returns if I have to. I ordered one last year but I can't remember what the discount was.
