Has anyone ever had a snow globe repaired or know where to get something like this done? I have a snow globe that I love but the liquid inside has turned brown and you can barely see what's in it. Is this fixable?

A lot of the reviews on Amazon mentioned a chemical smell. Since I feel like my nose is overly sensitive, I didn't want to waste the money taking a chance it didn't have a smell. Maybe it's a hit or miss kinda thing.

I caved and went back. Well I was in for something else and stopped through and found my store was finally at 90%. Got another 4 pack of wrapping paper rolls, a box of Christmas cards and some curling ribbon. And even though I didn't need it, I checked the tape and candy aisles after reading all the posts on here and I found one 3 pack of tape in the purple packaging for .30 and a bag of Lindt Mint Truffles for .87! I was so excited that I bought both. I'm new to this stuff and it felt like a treasure hunt. Fun fun!!!

I read a bunch of reviews and I think I"m going to pass. I've got an over sensitive nose and all the reviews about the "chemical smell" has warned me away. Guess I'll just keep searching. Thanks for all the help!

I decided not to fool with it and my boyfriend took it to give to his mom for pictures of his brother's kids.

Ugh! I thought with folks reporting the north DFW stores at 90% mine would be too but no dice in east Ft. Worth. Tons of stuff left but I'm done. I quit :)

Okay I just got back from HL because I didn't even think to go look and this thread had me wondering what I missed. The store here had 2 rows of stuff, a lot of which was individual ornaments and pine items (wreaths, garland, etc). I ended up with a 2 ft. talll tree in a burlap sack with bow (so cute, just want the other end of my fireplace needs from the 3 ft Nutcracker on the other side) and 2 gifts sets that contain a ceramic mug and spoon and a little coaster. Will be perfect for my two aunts who are cocoa lovers. Spend $10 bucks on all three items! YEAH!

Just got back from returning the plates and had no problems. Got exactly what I paid for them back, $4.05 :) Hahaha. I checked out the Christmas aisle and it was 90% off but basically just napkins, those huge plastic chip bowls, and a few ornaments. Nothing special.

Hmmm....I need a pillow that's for all kinds of sleep. I hate "side sleepers" or "back sleepers" as pillow descriptions. What about those of us who rotate every couple of hours? I go from side to stomach to back all in one night. I usually wake up with lower back of head/neck pains and jacked up sinuses. I found a pillow once that was great until it went flat and then I could never find another. I don't have $100 for a memory foam pillow and I thought the Sobakawa might work but now after doing some reading I don't know. Advil PM it is :)

Anyone have one of those Sobakawa Cloud pillows? Just saw a commercial and it looked pretty convincing. Just wondering if anyone had tried them.

Thanks for the heads up on the plates. I hate when plates chip and it never occured to me they might not be microwavable. I'm going to retun them here shortly. I really don't need 12 smaller plates that match nothing lol. Talk about impulse buy!

Just got back from our Target. Everything including food/candy was 75% off. I got a 4 pack of wrapping paper rolls for $1.50, package of bows for $1.25, and for whatever reason I felt compelled to buy a set of 12 salad plates for $3.74 (white with light gold trim)....not sure if I'll keep the salad plates since I have nothing to go with them. I might double back tomorrow to see if things are 90% off and 1 of 3 cookie jars still remains.

I don't know if this is the right forum for this question so please move me if I'm in the wrong place. My aunt gave me a picture frame for Christmas that I don't need (I bought tons on BF). I looked on Kohls website to see if it was clearance because if it is, it's not worth the drive and I'd save it for a gift. But, it's regular price at $24.99. However, they are currently on sale at B1G1 Free. So, will the give me $24.99 store credit, or half? I don't have a receipt and I will offend her asking for one. I'm not trying to seem greedy or whatever but it's kind of a drive to get to Kohls and I'm trying to do a cost-benefit analysis of whether or not it's worth the drive. Thanks for any help.

Are they open til 10 tonight since it's NYE? I'm seriously tired of sitting here watching L&O reruns all day and I'm 5 minutes away and thinking about getting out for a few.

Walmart can tell you if it's in stock but I've discovered that to be less reliable than Target.

It's probably bad luck to say this but I think it might make it here tomorrow!! It left Louisville, KY yesterday afternoon...arrived/departed St. Louis this morning, arrived in Little Rock at 2pm today and departed at 3pm. Little Rock is only 300 miles away, it's 2/3's of the way here. I'm buying a lottery ticket if it makes it!!!!!

Thanks you guys! And yes, it was good to finally talk to someone that will just listen. I'm in customer service too (a different kind but CS none the less) and things go so much better for you and the caller if you just don't assume what it is they are after. And I think its a great gift only because 1) he loves the Celtics and 2) we went to Boston for the first time in September for a whole week and it was our favorite vacation ever, neither of us want to go anywhere else so this gift is a little reminder of great times!

He's been our driver for at least 3 years and we have a good rapport but I was surprised too!

THANKS! It just says "Service: Basic". Our UPS driver was just in here so I told him what was going on and he gave me his cell and told me if it doesn't come tomorrow, if the tracker says it's on his truck on Friday to call him and he'll come right here or meet me somewhere.
