I think Disney Infinty will be huge so thats why I got it already, kid's tablets as well. As far as for the younger ones I think princess Sofia items will be going fast, they are already hard to find. Anything new Monster high will be hot as well.

I would wait because there are always giftcard deals when you buy an ipod touch closer to bf and on bf. My dd11 has wanted one for years and I was finally gonna get it for her this year but now she wants a kindle fire....

All 3 of my kids want a tablet this year. They also want Disney Infinity and all the figures that go with that. Those are the big things they are asking for. My dd11 is also asking for craftt things and everything from Justice..pretty much the whole store...lol! My dd7 is also asking for Disney princess items, she loves Rapunzel,brave, and Sofia. My ds5 is still OBSESSED with Disney cars so he just keeps asking for more of them, which is hard because after so many years not too many new ones come out...lol

I love going to the stores. Everyone knows that BF is my holiday =) but I also HATE the early start times! I enjoyed the years where we did midnight madness at the outlets and the stores at about 5am, I would stay up all night and be home early to crash. Stores opening at 8pm leaves zero time for family because you need to be online a few hours before and I refuse to do that. So I have had to change my shopping strategy. Shop online for any possble doorbusters and then go shopping at stores later to see whats left! I'm hoping this year I can get most of my stuff online and then enjoy the rest of the hustle and bustle shopping later on in the day!

So excited to see this thread! I have started Christmas shopping as well when QVC Christmas in July started and have been going ever since. I do agree that kids are getting harder to shop for now that they are older. They all want alot of things that are more then usual so I'm hoping for some good deals this year!

I went to my store at about 5pm and there was no one in mark down area but alot of things were marked but alot also was still only 50%. Anything princess related or super hero related was still at 50% off. I grabbed a few things at 50% and a few at 70%. I will post my list when I get a chance later. Hope everyone got some good finds!

Any movement in toys today at the regular wednesday stores?

Has toys moved for anyone? Is it safe to say the markdown is going to happen Thursday of this upcoming week or should I be checking everyday( which I really dont want to do cause its far) just in case? Pink Lemonade was great last year. I actually used it for my daughters Pink Tangled(Rapunzel) tea party and all the kids loved the cupcakes and mini cakes I made from them!

So excited that we are half way there! Bummed that it is so late this year, it kinda shortens the season but still cant wait =)

You guys are lucky, maybe people just attack my store but in 5 years I have literally NEVER seen even one lego set hit 70% =(

I dont think legos ever make it to 70%....In all the years I have done the toy clearance I have only seen them go to 50%

I did pretty well today. I tried not to go crazy like I usually do... Lalaloopsy horse Monster high create a monster hot wheels 18 car set ham and buzz toy set a few random hot wheel cars that were only 65 cents each brave playhouse capt hook playset cinderella light up doll hot wheels truck small barbie fashion set Transforming lightning mcqueen This was from 2 stores and I felt really happy with all my finds! On a side note, I was really annoyed with a fellow shopper today. I had about 12 things at the most in my cart but a lot of items were big so my cart was full, she walked right by me and said " are you going to leave anything for the rest of us? GEEZ!! I couldnt believe it, I have seen people fill up 4-5 carts or clear shelves...( not to mention my store had 2 full aisles of clearance) I wanted to say something snarky back but I decided to be the better person.

both my stores were mainly 30%, a few 50% and NO 70%. So Im assuming next week is it but it was already SOO picked over. So many things I would of bought at even 50% are gone already. I bought only 1 thing today at 50% off because my son already has it on his bday list and 50% is better then nothing if I have to by it later somewhere else full price...

My store still has most toys at 30% off, Does anyone remember when it went 70 last year? I feel like it was the end of January but Im not sure...

I did not get to Target yesterday so I will have to check today but congrats on all your good finds. I couldnt find most of those things at 70 ( all thats left at my stores are gift bags, paper, and a few odds n ends) but I will still go to check =)

my oldest dd loves all of her clothes and shoes from justice(such a little fashionista), middle dd loves her American girl doll and the full house DVD box sets (she has become obsessed with that show from watching it on nick at night), my ds loves all of his Jake,cars, and angry bird stuff...he has been playing with everything no stop and is a very happy boy.

I always get the after Christmas blues....nothing to do but clean, reorganize closets and rooms to fit the new stuff, and take down all the Christmas decorations...am I the only one that feels that way? There is something about the Christmas season that always puts me in a good mood. what are some things you do after the holidays? Do you already start planning for next year and hit the after Christmas sales or are you just glad its over?

I miss living back home around the holidays. Every year I hostess thanksgiving and Christmas eve. Family would come on thanksgiving and all my friends would gather by dessert time. Same thing for Christmas eve, I would end up with around 20 people or more on each holiday. On Christmas we would do the long drive to the in laws (that part I don't miss)now living in fl it is just us, my mom, and my daughters godfather if he doesn't go back home that year.....my hubby loves the low key holidays but I really miss the old traditions I had...

every year I seem to add more kids because more of my family has babies and more teachers since my kids are all school aged now and in extra activities. Years ago the family and friends decided we would just buy for the kids since there are so many now, so I buy mainly for them except for our parents and my friends without kids. My list always seems to get longer each year but I shop smart all year so I don't mind it since I love Christmas so much. I do always plan ahead though so its smart for you to be thinking about next year already.

All I have left is a few gift cards to buy, lottery scratch offs to get, and a few little things to wrap and I am done! So nice to not be running around like crazy this year!

I have so many teachers/coaches/bus drivers etc..so it all differs. Usually the main teacher gets a 25 -50 gift ( this year I got some gift cards and some large coach wristlets), ( assistants 20-25 bbw gift sets), and the coaches, tutors, bus drivers got about a 10-15 assorted bbw items. However if my kids have someone who go above and beyond I try to get them something a bit nicer that I know they will love, like my sons speech teacher is AMAZING so I spent more on her then I normally would.
