I have actually been pretty lucky on bf. This might be because I go to the outlets for midnight madness then hit up kmart, toysrus, then the mall.So I dont hit any huge stores at opening! My dh hits up Target ( I dont like to do that store on bf TOO many people) and we both refuse to do Walmart. The kmart by me is always super organized and the line to get in is never that long at opening and by the time I get to toys r us it is about 10am n the store has slowed down ALOT..But I would have to say the worst part for me is more of the traffic on the way to a store..every year for midnight madness we need to leave by 930pm just to make sure we are there at midnight...traffic is CRAZY going into the outlets!! lines backed up for hours on the expressway!!

My niece actually just this morning asked me for a singing Mickey Mouse toy and an actual GIRAFFE!!! Gotta love kids...lol!!

I always worry about forgetting too so now what I do is I buy specific wrapping paper for each person so I will know who's is who and I put all of my lists on excel per person, the gift, the price, and if its wrapped. So far it is working but I guess we will see as it gets closer to the holidays and I buy more gifts if this system works...

I might be wrong but i thought Ace last year didnt come out until MUCh later...didnt they send a letter or something last year? I thought it was some book store or something that was first last year...

I do the outlets every year and have done it in 3 different states and the only thing I find to be true everywhere is that getting IN to the parking lot is a nightmare..We usually leave my house at around 9:30 and I live only 20 mins away n i usually get in and park by 1130 so leave your house early!

I do the outlets every year for midnight madness. The sales on clothes and other things are AMAZING...I wouldnt miss it for anything! Alot of the sales though are from midnight till 8 amor noon...

I know this is a weird question since it is only the end of September but I buy gifts all year round. The bulk of it is done in early November ( toys r us big book), Black Friday, and then some leftovers in December. However, I do have maybe about 20% or so of it done b4 then. I have to buy for so many people, plus I will admit I do go overboard on my kids, dh, and nieces and nephews so I always end up wrapping well over 100 gifts. So my question is for the people who shop a bit earlier like me do you wrap your gifts ahead of time or wait till closer to Christmas to be more in the hopliday spirit? I usually wait until after BF and then wrap during my kids nap time and listen to Christmas music but last year it was sooooooo overwhelming. I am thinking about wrapping what I have now and just putting it up in the closet. I will still have plenty to wrap later but will hopefully be a bit less of a battle. I know most people love wrapping gifts but I must say I love everything about the holidays accept for this...

I have been shopping since last Dec..lol! I only buy things that are on a great sale or clearance though. I do most of my shopping from the toys r us big book ( since I find that on the hot toys they have the best deals in that book) and the rest all on bf. Then in December I pick up odds n ends and stalk Amazon for their last minute amazing toy deals! Only difference this year is my oldest dd8 wants a bunch of high end electronics so might have to change my game plan for her a bit!!!

I am a teacher myself and usually buy in bulk at oriental trading!! LOVE them!! They have great items for good prices and always have coupons...

Im looking for a netbook for my dd8 that she can basically play educational games on, practicing writing( some sort of word program maybe). What would be a good netbook for that sort of thing? Would the cvs 99 one be good? Thanks..I know nothing about this stuff?

My sont ereaders finally went on sale at 30% but it was still 105.00. I am holding out for 50 % off but there were only a few left so Im hoping to catch 1. Summer and pool items are still holding at 30% with a small fraction of 50%. I saw a Tinkerbell tricycle I would love to grab at 75% off!!

My list right now is at about 22! We have a lot of kids in the family so we mainly focus on them and then gift the adults who do not have kids. We also have about 6 teachers to buy for and then donations such as the angel tree...

I know nothing about specs n stuff. Is this a somewhat decent netbook? If so Im gonna run out n get it for my 8 year old for christmas!! no need to wait till bf then =)

This is actually very similiar to the calico critters I have been looking to buy my niece. I dont see them online anywhere but ebay and amazon marketplace. Did they have all of them at walmart? Is this a newer toy and thats why it is nowhere else or an older toy they are fading out? Does anyone know? Im gonna have to go to walmart now and check it out =)

They had a bunch of monster high dolls on an endcap at my target today. Had toons of zoobles...they were sitting right next to the lps items and they really are sooo similiar. I think squinkies might be the big toy though..there were none at all and a HUGE empty shelf that was suppose to be dedicated to them. I cant wait for the target and toysrus toy books to come out next month so I can really start planning my lists properly!

Our sony ereaders are not on sale at all, there is a big sign that they are still the regular price. Pool stuff is still only at 30% off. I had to buy my sun his new floaty vest for the pool since it was the last one. Was hoping I would make it to at least the 50% poff but he really needed it. ( This is the Brandon Florida store) not my usual riverview store so I might go by there and check later on today!
