I am SO livid at my target now. Yesterday I was there when they were marking down electronics. I asked the mark down team VERY nicely if the ereaders were going down n she said no not today. Then I read online that alot of stores went to 75%. So today finally on a whim I called n the girl sounded surprised that they were such a good deal and she told me there were 2 left but she couldnt hold them for me..so I told her I was literally going to be there in 10 mins. I got all the 3 kids in the car in about 10 seconds...n was there in 10 and BOTH were gone..so I asked them to please double check and was told they were marked down yesterday so if I wanted it I should of came yesterday.. n I of course tell them I was there yesterday. They probably grabbed them for themselves.. I mean what are the odds that BOTH would be gone in 10 mins when they were marked down for over a day??????UGH!!! At least I scored on the monster high dolls..they had them today!

And I finally found all 4 Monster high dolls!!!! YIPPEEE~ Still no luck finding monster high dolls that I need. I still need Clawdeen which my dd wants the most and DRaculara of course I saw on WEdnesday the 1 time I brought her shoping w/me so I couldnt pick it up..Target was cleared out of mhs stuff today!!

10/26 was when it started in 2008 and it was on this site by the 19th last year it started Nov 1st and was on this site about a week b4 that... Im hoping it starts earlier this year! I dont wanna wait till November!

I went into target today. Ereaders were still 50% off and only 2 left in case. I asked the mark down team very nicely ( since they were in that section) if it was being marked down today since price stated until 10/2 n its 10/4 but she said it is nort being marked down yet!! BOOO! Bedding was still 50% off as well...nothing else good to report...

My family thinks Im a bit nutty for thinking about black friday in August/September. However, they have grown to know its just how I am. My hubby also knows he always has 1 stop to make (target) and he grins n bears it because he loves me..lol! Noone really understands my obsession but my family always jokes that they are glad that I am like that because it reminds them to get moving when it gets closer to the holidays!

I am just wondering when do most of you have your kids write their official holiday list? I usually have my kids write ther letters to Santa in late November/early December but I have found in the past for this to become a problem. I usually have a general idea of what they want and buy it from sales or bf but their lists always surprise me and I find myself rushing out to get more gifts in December and at this point have gone WAY over budget and WAY over with the gift load. Am thinking of having them wriite it in early November this year before Black Friday but it kinda seems a bit early....Im not sure What do you all do?

The big book usually is shipped about a week b4 ity is officially released online or when the sale starts. Last year I think someone got it on tuesday or wednesday n Brad typed it up that night. So it all really depends when the big books official release is going to be...

Just saw one of the deals is save 5 off of a 30 itunes giftcard. Do u think I should stocvk up on that now or do u think bf will have a better deal on itunes gf cards? I think I remember Target doing something similiar last year on bf but it was only 5 dollars off as well...

My daughter is almost 9 and I brought her to Target and Toysrus just yesterday....her big wants were zoobles littlest pet shop monster high dolls make up hello kitty and then of course the higher tech stuff( ie video games, ipod etc)

Room essentials bedding was still at 50% yesterday but matress pads moved to 75% off so Im hoping this will mean the bedding will go 75% soon too! The ereaders are till at 50% and there are only 4 left in stock!!BLAH!!

I went to toys r us and target today. Both of them had a ton of the hot toys. I saw sing a ma jigs, monster high dolls, zoobles, and for the first time I even saw squinkies in stock! I had all the kids with me so of course I couldnt buy anything but I was wrong to think that I was fre n clear from these "hot toys"...My oldest dd really wants zoobles n monster high dolls...so hopefully I will find them when I go back to the stores!!

At this rate with every year the stores going earlier Black FRiday is going to turn into Black Thursday....with all the sales starting on Thursday!!

I SOOOOOO cant wait for this book! I have already called the 800 number and asked people in the store and all they can say is they are not sure but usually the end of Ocytober. It has ALWAYS come out the last Sunday of October but last year it came out on November 1st. So this leaves 3 reasonable options... 1) It will begin on October 31st since this is the last Sunday ogf the month and only 1 day earlier then last years release. 2) They might not want to release it on Halloween and want to get a start on the sales and might release it one week earlier ( not probable though) which would be October 24th 3) They will release it one week later if they dont want to release it on haloween and make it the first Sunday of November like they did last yearwhich would bring its release to November 7th. I think Halloween will probably be the date but I would love for it to be sooner, def not later!

My ereaders are still 50% off at 74.98. It had a sign saying price valid until 10/2..so im hoping they go 75% after that and not go to salvage!
