I've never been there for openings. How are they? I have to bring my kids with me(please no bashing I have no choice and really need/want these items and they won't be online) so sitting there for 2 hrs isn't really doable. 30 mins is.

I need to be at toys r us by 8:30 for the 9 pm opening I figure to get the shake it up hand bags. But I also need to be at walmart for the 10 pm toys. Is it possbile to do both in such a short time? I figure I'd rush into tru for the shake it up handbag and video games which are b1g1 and then shoot over to walmart for their 10 pm sale. I really want the fisher price castle and piano as well as the camera and the digital photo album so walmart is an important stop. Oh and the bedding sets. Is it doable to do tru really quick and then head over to walmart in time?

I just called my local walmart and was told they will be opening at regular time tgiving day. I'm going to go around 7-8 pm and scope out the store. There are several things I really want and I've usually just gone before with buying whatever but the doorbusters this year are great and I need a new camera and lots of the toys.

I'm usually in bed by 9 but this year we're going to do walmart at 10 pm(leaving at 8:30) and then head over to target or tru depending which one has the best sale.

I was wondering the $99 nikon camera with 15x zoom. Is that worth it? Can I possibly buy it online on bf? I'm going to walmart at 9 for the 10 pm sale and thinking I'll head there but will get there right at midnight. Will that camera go fast you think or do I have a shot of just walking in there and buying it? Thanks.

I like the barbie jet but wondering if it'll be worth it? I'm only in the look out for toys. I got my ipods. Their ipod deal is awesome but not enough to make me return the ones I bought and rebuy at their price and risk it.

I want the toys. They aren't available online so figuring they won't be in stores either right? Especially the fisher price toys and the grand piano. Those are my top 3 items.

I want the toys at 10 pm mainly and maybe some games. I'll have almost $600 in cash to spend so I'm hoping that I don't spend it all there lol cuz I'd like to get over to tru and target too. I'm thinking of leaving around 9 pm. Is that too late for toys?

I'm almost completely done except I ran out of wrapping paper so I gotta get some more today from the dollar store:) I wqanted to get done now for bf and other gifts coming still needing to be wrapped.

Darn I swore 3 years ago it was 50% off everything until 12 here. I made it at 12:30 and the manager still gave me the discount. Wonder if it's changed? 20% is NOT worth it imo.

I've been coming to this site for the past 3 years and every year around August I religiously come here about 15-20 times per day:) lol I remember way back when there were over 80 days until BF shopping! Now it's less than 2 weeks and I am SOOOO excited and SOOOO psyched! I just love the excitement I get from this forum. Really feeds my bf madness:)

thanks. to update...i got a 6 ft unlit tree at walmart for $20! Bought lights for $11. Then proceeded to spend $200 on ornaments but oh well! It's fun and I'm getting in the christmas spirit. Trying to save money for bf though.

that's me, it's gonna take me about 5 days or more to wrap all this. I did make a HUGE dent and wrapped all dd's gifts and get a dent in my younger dd's gifts. I have my 2 ds's and my baby daughter's gifts left as well as my middle daughter's to finish. I killed out a big portion in about an hr.

We have only done a christmas tree once since my kids were born. All the ornaments have been lost. We had some really nice personalized ones too:( This year I'm on the fence about doing a tree. It'd be a fake tree. Can you do a nice fake tree with ornaments for around $150? I've priced the ornaments and they are expensive though. We don't do the bulbs. We do the kiddie ornaments. Thanks.

What's really sad is that I have almost an entire room filled with toys for my kids(5 of em) and I'm way overwhelemed with having to wrap them all. I don't even know where/how to start:(
