yeah there was a thread a while back on how teachers dumped what kids made for them so that's why i asked. I didn't want to put forth all that effort for naught

I have tried twice today, once from toys r us and once from build a bear, to use discount codes in conjunction with gift certificates or in tru's case, reward bucks and it wouldn't apply them. I have $15 rewards bucks(3 $5 certificates) and it only allowed me to use ONE. So I got a big $5 off instead of $15, which would have made my purchase free. Then build a bear sent me a $10 reward coupon for shopping so much there. I tried using that in conjunction with the 25% discount. It wouldn't take either of them. What gives? Why can't you use 2 different things? one is discounting and the other is payment?

I can tell everyone that the hand bags they have offered for 4.99 on bf are online for 12.99 now. I ordered one just in case I cannot get one bf and I'll just return it if I find it.

Will the special fisher price toys and comforter sets be online too

I was wondering if giving mrs fields chocolates or other fine chocolates wrapped in boxes was acceptable to teachers. Will they eat that since it isn't homemade? I really cannot do gcs this year. I have 9 teachers to buy for. Thanks,

It really angers me how people take such advantage with jacking up prices on hot items knowing people are desperate. I remember the furbies craze years ago. Those things were selling on the black market for $100 a furbie. Then the shake it up dolls are sold out. I'm so glad. Thanks to the kind people on this board, I got them when I did.

Just wondering how everyone keeps track of what they want to get on bf at different stores? I am thinking of buying a newspaper for the first time this year. But do I get them wed or thursday? Do you use hard copy ads, print your own, just write down what you want? How do you manage?

I'm wondering if it's worth buying a camera on bf or if I should wait till after, nearer to christmas? I need one. I have no camera now and want one asap for when we put up the tree next weekend but the ones I've seen are junky for their prices. Is bf a good camera shopping day? I'm specifically looking at the sony camera in the walmart ad with 10x zoom at this point? The fuji is terrible and I was not impressed with the nikon in the target ad. I am looking for a decent camera, under $200, with rechargeable batteries and great shutter speed for what it's worth and at least 10x zoom. Sorry to restart a thread. I didn't see the old thread for cameras. Thanks!
