I am the odd ball. I am a single mom and no sitter and I HAD to take my kids out because they had items available they never have for my babies. I already purchased their santa gifts. My kids know what I bought bf was from me but I only got them the xbox. I picked up toys for the babies who know no better. Mine still believe in santa claus but to get what I wanted I had to go out. My kids stayed by my side, where well behaved and did have the opportunity to sleep, which they did. We weren't out all night. We hit walmart, came home to sleep, then went back out about 9:30 am. Some people have no choice. I do not agree with the teens hanging at the mall and just loitering. That's wrong. I also understand if kids were bothering people. Many people I don't believe have sitters and yes maybe we should stay home but then we'd miss out and that's not fair either. Those fisher price toys you can't get in store or online(I did look and enver saw them) and they don't sell them any other time.

I've used 10 so far. Just bought 4 more:) lol And I have to tackle the newest pile on the basement. It's going to stink:( I have more rolling in over the next weeks too.

I'm going to ship tomorrow. Everything is ready. Are we wrapping the gifts or no?

i know. seems like it was just august. I think I'll miss the webcasts the most. I love them:)

Thanks. Not sure if she still has the ticket but I will ask. I agree. They should bend over backwards for her and fix this. But from dealing with tru in past experiences, I don't know if they care:(

I am asking this question for a friend of mine. She has a 5 yr old son and all he wants is a ps3 and she wanted to get the bundle for $199 at tru. She went there and waited for 2.5 hrs for it. They told her they had plenty. She kept asking if it was the bundle and they assured her it was. A manager and several different cashiers told her this while she waited in line. They even gave her a ticket for it. She gets up to the front of the line after 2.5 hrs and lo and behold they're sold out! Says they then told her they had only 2 in the store. Then WHY give her a ticket? I find this incredibly wrong and unfair. THey did NOTHING for her. Didn't offer to make her a bundle. She said they had plenty of ps3's by themselves. She spoke with a manager and left feeling irate and defeated. I told her to call corporate tomorrow and see if they'll do anything. Will they? I feel they wronged her by giving her a ticket and reassuring her they had plenty in stock. It was wrong. It was false advertising. By the time she got to walmart they were all sold out because she had waited at tru so long. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I saw people here who had similar issues and the managers gave them a different item, some items being better then the sale item. I feel they owe her a gift card for the price of the bundle or they should sell her a similar bundle for that price quoted and promised. Am I wrong?

this is unforgiveable. i think the police need some sort of reprimand. totally wrong imo.

I find this incredibly unforgiveable. Is it REALLY worth it to save a few bucks to hurt people. especially babies? That's absolutely horrific. The pepper spray incident- I hope they find that horrible woman and she goes to jail. Who does she think she is? And the poor mom who was made to drop her baby because of all this? Wow! My wally world wasn't organized either and it was total chaos but really these take the cake. Where's the civility and humanity? The desire to help others out? In my walmart people were handing back cameras and helping, for the most part. Holdng spots in line for bathroom runs and other stuff. NOT rushing and hurting people.

I also wanted to add that my walmart was very organized, even if the people who worked there were not knowledgeable about ANYTHING. They wouldn't tell us where ANYTHING was. It was ridiculous! Toys were in totally different aisles. Kids clothing was in womens. They said the cameras would come out on a cart. We had to line up at electronics. The games were nuts. Gone by 9:30. By the time we got our xbox the games were completely gone. I coldn't believe it. Thankfully I got everything else I'd wanted though. I'll go back for the games this coming week.

i AM finally DONE getting everything I wanted and more. The kids and I slept in today after walmart last night/this morning. We headed to toys r us about 9:30 and of course they had NO idea where the shake it up bags were. Oh well! Thank GOD I forsaw to order one and it should arrive soon. i don't care I paid full price. DD wanted that so bad, and the dolls. She said if Santa doesn't bring her the dolls she'll know he isn't real:( Got them already wrapped:) So got ds the $24.99 little tikes table, got the kids some knick knack toys, got the baby the cruise and crawl play gym for 50% off. I had $5 off $25 coupons for my kids bdays so I used those and did 3 separate transactions. There was NO line at my toys r us and hardly anyone was there. Then we had lunch and headed to target where I scored $5 slippers for the kids and got dd some stockng stuffers and jeans. I wanted to get some games for the kinect and new xbox but the deals weren't good. Also, I did get the b1g1 free at tru but it was a PAIN! Only a few select games were available and one of the $5 rewards bucks I had isn't even good until Dec 1. NOT fair! oh and the new walmart pjs have holes in 1 pai. just gt em open too:( walmart was the best deal though.im so happy we went early and scored everything.

Yea here the video games were gone instantly. They ripped open the pallets and went for everything before 10

They did great I am such a proud mama. I was so impressed with my 8 yr old. She steered the stroller and helped grab items. My troop is dead tired but they did great.. Only thing that really irked me was someone was in. Rush and just slammed into my stroller and pushed my son into th cart ahead and woke him up screaming. He was fine. Just scaed.

I had an awesome night and SURvived shopping with my 5 kids, who did wonderfully. They were such troopers and my 8 yr old dd was an awesome helper. Scored the Xbox kinetic bundle, the Sony camera, lots of pjs and shirts for kids, and the toys I wanted, plus a $10 griddle. The lines were horrific and the waits terrible but no fights or line cutting, the camera was the worst. That took 1"5 hrs and that was after waiting for the Xbox and to check out and out from the 10 pm sale. Didn't make tru tonight. Going first thing in the am. Maybe hitting target?

so what are my odds getting there 2 hrs before they start? Good? not good?

If I leave at 8 and then put my items in my car right after paying at 10 and get back in line can I do it? It's gonna be a LONG night tonight but I'd love to score that. here's a silly q but I am coming in last min for this. Is this the full kinect with xbox? It's $199 with gc right? or am I wrong? I'm really leaning heavily on getting this for my kids.

My friend just called and told me she'd spent all her money and didn't have any for bf shopping tomorrow. I am SO bummed and upset. I admit I was really looking forward to someone helping out with my kids and grabbing items I needed. Now it'll just be me. oh well! I still plan to go and have fun but now it just won't be as fun.
