So is the general concensus that we'll have 75% off on Wednesday or are we thinking tomorrow? I would really like it to be tomorrow!

You can get Target Coupons at A Full Cup in their "Target Coupon Generator." You have to be a member to use it. There is also a generator at some Organic Grocery Deals site.

I could NOT believe the amount of early morning shoppers. Like I've never seen before. I got there about 15 minutes after opening and the aisles were packed and a TON of stuff was gone. I really wanted a Mr. Potato Head (so I could use my $2/1 coupon with it to get it really cheap) and those were cleared out. I did manage to score a lot of paper towels/napkins for cheap. Went to CVS and candy there was 50% off, so I bought what I wanted from them. I have pretty much no hope of anything good being left at 75% off. It was like a feeding frenzy at both stores I went to today.

I was there this morning as he was marking the appliances to 75%...I restrained myself and only picked up the ###Rival 4 qt crock pot for $4.7X. I saw maybe 6 microwaves on the shelf for $12.xx

Yes, they will. Just take it to customer service with the receipt. It may be helpful to bring the item, too...sometimes they return it and then resell it to you with the coupon. Also, regarding the TV lady...she obviously knew it would be marked down. If she scanned it with the markdown gun the price would show on her "gun" and it once she scanned it, it would be that price whether there was a sticker on it or not.

You know, I don't have a problem with employees that don't give out info on markdowns, etc. because they are busy, or just don't know, or aren't supposed to say. But when they are lying so that they can get the good stuff, that REALLY annoys me. I had employees giving me the runaround like that left and right when I was stalking the grills. And sure enough, when they DID mark them down and I was there, about 4-5 of them swarmed the area and I'm sure they carted off the rest of them as soon as I left.

My K-Mart was sold out, but I picked up the ad so I can take it to Target tomorrow to get the price match!

The Dragon one seems to be sold out online. I may try to score one tomorrow in store. That is a GREAT price!

I saw a Target worker today that seemed to be salvaging the College stuff...I didn't ask him if he was just moving it or if he was salvaging, but he was loading it all into a cart. It never went past 50% off. Saw two cordless drills for 50% off today ($12-16 range). Didn't get the numbers. I also saw an entire endcap in the video/music section of computer games for $4.98 (75% off).

Yeah...I found nothing. Most of the clearance was 10% off or less.

I would ask if you can exchange the Tag readers...they will probably say no, but it stinks that you thought you were all set with the Tags for gifts and now you are not! It's always worth asking. I think if you are honest and show them where it looks like they are taped back together, then they will not question you (assuming you have the receipts).

Does anyone think that Razor scooters may get marked down before Christmas? I think that is what I'm getting for my son's "big" Christmas gift and I (obviously) want to get a great deal on one. But it seems like I probably missed out on getting one at a clearance price, huh?

I love perimeter perusing. :) Sometimes you just happen upon great deals! This morning I found about 20 bottles of Hunts ketchup on an endcap for $.46/bottle! No idea why they were clearanced...not expired, bottles weren't damaged (I even checked the safety seals). I had a coupon for $1/2, so I got two for FREE and another two for good measure. There was also relish there for $.26. This is probably not a deal that any other stores will have b/c it looked like these were just some kind of freak item that they wanted to get rid of (they didn't have the standard red sticker, but the "as-is" clearance sticker with the bar code). But I just wanted to share because THIS is why I love Target! You never know what you are going to happen upon! Oh, and I got one of those Hannah Montana video cameras for my neice for 75% off!

###097040398 Circo Kids Storage Bench: $22.48 (75% off) I was SO excited to find this today! It's one of those benches with three compartments underneath that baskets slide into. It's white and comes with navy blue baskets and a cushion for the top of the bench! I have been looking for one of these for YEARS at a good price!! And there it was, on the bottom shelf with some college towels. College stuff was 50% off, and I found a Hello Kitty Thermos!

Well, I think that since LeapFrog has two coupons, one for "The Tag Reading System" and one for "Any Tag Book" it is clear that the one that has a photo of the Tag Reading System on it and says "The Tag Reading System" is for the system, not the books. Just because a coupon scans does not mean that it is meant for that product. And just because it scans does not mean that LeapFrog will reimburse Target for the coupon, which means that Target loses money on the deal. When we got Tag Systems for $2.48, it was because Target put them on sale and we used the coupon...LeapFrog will reimburse Target for that coupon because it was used on the product specified on the coupon, even if that product was on clearance. And just because the books say "Tag Reading System" on them doesn't mean that the coupon is intended for that product. I'm sure that Wii games say "Wii" on them, but that doesn't mean that a $50 coupon for a Wii system should also work for a Wii game. I am not trying to say that you purposefully cheated anyone. I am just saying that if you look closely at the situation, I don't believe that using that coupon for a product other than the Tag Reading System is ethical. I'm not trying to get into an argument at all. And I honestly am not accusing you of anything. We all make decisions about how we want to use coupons based on the info we have at the time and what we think is right. But I do think that if there are a lot of people using these coupons for the wrong products that they will take the coupons away or Target will stop accepting them. It has happened before.

Not to be a party pooper, but that coupon pretty clearly says that it's for the "Tag Reader SYSTEM" not for the books. I love a great deal like anyone, but when people use coupons for like that (for the wrong item), it eventually ruins it for all of us because Target will get sick of losing $$ and will stop taking internet printables over a certain $$ amount. (This happened at my grocery store...they only take internet printables up to $1 now because of so much fraud).

Found two kitchenaid mixers for 50% off (124.xx), they are the 4.5 qt models, so not eligible for that $40 mail in rebate...that would have been nice, though!
