Has anyone seen those red alligator (or dragon or whatever it is) humidifiers at 50% or more? My Target has a whole shelf of them at 30% off and I really want to get one when they go to 50 or 75, but they are STUCK at 30. Any idea when they do mark downs for that kind of thing? (They are on an endcap in health/beauty). The good news is my princess bike is still there. The bad news it's still 30%.

Had a lot of luck today at 90% off in the easter section, though there were very few toys. Got a bunch of kitchen towels for $.39/2...I love that these are not Eastery, but just spring colors. Also got the vinyl tablecloth for $.49. Found an Easter book in the regular book section that scanned at 90%, so that was a bonus. I saw a Disney princess bicycle for 30% off...I'm PRAYING no one buys it at 30% so I can scoop it up for 50% for my little princess. But I doubt it...it's the only bike on clearance at my store, so I'm guessing it will be gone before it goes down further. Also got my free reusable shopping bag! I went twice to this Target...by the second time (at 1:00 p.m.) they were out of the free bags already. Those went fast!

On the Spiderman Quads...I forgot to put this in my original post...the second Target I went to yesterday also had these at FULL price. So odd that they would be 75% at one store and full price at the other. There were 2 of them on clearance, too, so I don't think it was a return or "as-is" thing. Who knows? I wish I would have gotten the other one while I was there, but it was sitting in a cart kind of away from the other one, and I was afraid that it was "claimed" by someone who stepped away from their cart. Didn't want to be stealing someone else's deal!

FINALLY! I had a great Target day today (after just complaining yesterday!) I went to see if my stores went to 75% with the Easter stuff (they didn't), but I found some great deals. First, I found a spiderman 6volt ride on quad for $17.xx (originally $69.99). WOO! I can't decide if I'm going to keep it or sell it. I also found FIVE minute maids!!! I haven't found any for months, but there they were...all five of them!! I wanted to skip through the store! And finally my Aveeno baby products were down to 50% off...I used coupons and got them for CHEAP. (Though I had to to to customer service after the cashier told me I couldn't use the coupons, even though they CLEARLY said "Any Aveeno Product." She was saying because the photo on the coupon was of something else, I couldn't use them...GAH!). And I also found 4-5 Little Einstein's DVDs still in their plastic wrap, but for sale "as-is" for $3.76 (originally $14.99). I only bought the one that I can use for my own kids, but YAY for that deal. It was my other reason for visiting customer service, though...she scanned the back UPC instead of the "As-Is" tag and it rang up regular price. A good reminder to always check your receipts. And that Target cashiers need some re-training. YAY for good Target days!

The Ward Pkwy store in KC still had a LOT of small toys left today, but not much that I would buy at 50% off. I may go back at 75% off and try to nab some stuff...does anyone know when they will switch over to 75%? I asked the Target lady in the aisle and she said, "Later this week." Duh. They didn't have much candy at all, but I was not looking for that anyway. I did pick up some 3 packs of womens' athletic socks for $2.78 and a bra for $6.xx (75% off). Overall it was a bust. When are they going to mark down all of this 30% off stuff that I have been seeing for WEEKS? (Aveeno baby stuff in particular). Oh, and I had to tell the cashier to discount the Easter stuff that I did get...it was all ringing up full price.

It doesn't work with $39...I didn't try it for $59.

Got a Polaroid portable DVD player for the car (two 7 or 8 inch screens/remote/car adapter and Ac adapter) last week for $143.xx orginally $22X.xx. I needed one in a pinch so I got it even though it's not yet a STEAL, but thought I would pass it on in case anyone else is looking...I may keep an eye on them to see if they go down further. We used it over the weekend and it's great. My only beef is that the volume doesn't go up high enough for my car that has a LOT of road noise. But we'll probably just get headphones for the kids and we'll be set.

Two things: Global Bazaar is 50% off in Kansas City, too. Still nothing I want. Maybe at 75% I will be interested. And, I found my first MM...and it's a "bonus pack" with 12 boxes and was still $.69! I feel like I'm part of a secret club now. :)

I have an extra Didj Star Wars bundle if anyone wants it...if you pay for shipping & packaging I will gladly sell it to you for what I paid for it! (Or if you are in the KC area you can come pick it up). I saw them and couldn't just leave them sitting there!

Just got back...they had marked down a bunch of toys...but only from 30% to 50%!! GAH! Stupid Target. I did score in the camping section: 8 person Coleman Tent, originally $139.99, got it for $35.xx Lightning McQueen blow up bed/sleeping bag, orig. $29.99, got it for $6.xx Tennis Rackets (both kids and adults) for $3.xx

This is a little late, but last week I got a Lightning McQueen set of shampoo, soap, and a pretend razor on the health/beauty end cap for 2.48, originally 4.99, but it was the only one left so I got it anyway. (Funny that 50% off is just not good enough anymore!) It's a cute little set I'm thinking of for the Easter basket. Thanks for the Gymboree tip...I may have to hit that tomorrow.

Has anyone in KC checked the Shawnee Target? Have they gotten to their first markdowns yet? And question #2...any plasma cars there?

This sale is just so random. I checked back at the Mission Target in KC and they had 3 DVD players, but still marked at $100! I scanned them to be sure. They also had a few other items that were definitely 75% off at another store, still marked & scanning as 30%. (Air Hogs, various Cars stuff). I may get sucked into driving to the Shawnee store if it gets marked today or tomorrow...keep us update, Shawnee people!

KC Traderbear...if you happen to find another plasma car, let me know...I saw one the first day I was out and it was only marked 30% so I didn't get it and now I'm kicking myself b/c I'm SURE it was 75%, but I didn't want to lug it to the scanner. But now it's gone (obviously) and my other store doesn't have them. Lesson learned...when it doubt...scan it and buy the thing!

Has anyone in the KC area been to the Oak Park Target? Is it worth stopping by? I'll be in that area this morning, but not sure it's worth dragging the kids in.

Oh, my gosh! that is a GREAT idea! I may have to pick one up if they have any next week when I go back.

One thing I found today that seemed weird was the Little People Ferris Wheel...there was one shoved in the back of the clearance area with no price tag, but I scanned it and it came up $7.xx, and then I later realized that they had a whole non-sale endcap full of them with other non-sale Little People stuff. Not sure if it was a mistake that this one was marked down or if they all should have been in clearance. FYI...just got back from Ward Parkway in Kc and they still had a Smart Cycle and two train sets if anyone is interested. TONS of good stuff still in the aisles. However, no DVD players. I am sad that neither of my Targets had the Hot Wheels Space Shuttle...my son would have LOVED that. I am officially DONE with this sale. I may peek again next week on my regular Target trip, but that is it for me. Whew! BTW...the Dora Tricycle I wanted was not in the sale section when I got there and I figured someone had nabbed it, but I checked the bicycle section just in case and it was there! BUT...they had scraped the sale sticker off and it scanned full price. Oh, well!

GAH! Resisting the urge to wake up the kids and go.... Did you buy the Dora Tricycle? If not, was it still there? That is the one thing I really want for my 2 year old. I didn't see it at the other Target, so Ward Pkwy is my last hope!

Bummer...I'm probably going to go after the kids are up from their nap (yes, I'll be taking two kids...I'm dumb, but desperate). I may try to call first, but knowing the employees of that Target, I'm sure I won't get an answer. I'll let you know what I find if I make it there, but it will be late afternoon.

I went to Ward Parkway in Kansas City around 10:00 and there were lots of employees in toys putting new toys on the shelves, but no one marking down. I asked about 3 different employees about mark downs and they were all oblivious. No one either knew what was going on or wanted to tell me. One did say that she thought they were SUPPOSED to get to it today, but wasn't sure if they would have time or not. My guess is they might do it this afternoon or tomorrow morning. I'm going to check this afternoon, but if they aren't marked by then I'm done. I can't keep going to Target twice a day!

FYI...Ward parkway was still 30% yesterday afternoon with ZERO activity in the toy section. I'm hoping they had a team in early this morning...I'll be there around 9:30...maybe I'll see you there! :) The Mission Target (Sh Mission Pkway & Metcalf) was at 75% off yesterday.

I found that about 2/3 of the stuff was at 75% off, the rest was still at 30-50%. Some were just MARKED at 30-50, but was actually 75, but some scanned at 30 or 50. I suspect it was b/c they just didn't get to those items. Most of the ones I found that were not 75% off were just one or two items randomly, so maybe they were just stashed behind something else and the mark down people missed them. I didn't have the guts to ask the very busy-seeming employees to check on things (besides I already had a cart full). I have developed an unhealthy obsession with this sale! I really hope my #2 target has it all marked tomorrow morning so I can get what I want and move on with my life!
