ok off to a start for this year. .. i still have not figured out how to turn on the gadget i got for last year .

October .. here we are ! it did go by fast.. its already high school football games . and haunted houses.

so September is here . we are getting more rain today then we did with the hurricane warning a week or so back. those with young children are sending them off to school in the hopes that they will be able to stay in school. we will see how this year pans out.

Happy 4th of July. Checking in for July.

hello June! you guys all have weeks till graduation? we have 9 more DAYS .. and i am counting down. i don't have any children graduating , but for the last several years i host the project grad all night drug /ALCOHOL FREE party. USUALLY we fund raise all year long .... this year due to covid cautions ... i JUST booked a local amusement park for the event . its more pricey then normal. but the kids will be happy about it . that said planning is a LOT easier . as i don't need 70+ volunteers ,just myself and 5 others , as the park includes their staff. I wont spend 3 days decorating , or money on the decorations. and wont spend a couple hours doing clean up till 7 am. but a rush right now to get the kids signed up.. AFTER COMMITTING TO THE PARK ,i found a place other schools have used , that is less then 1/2 the price per student . i will certainly be looking into it next year!!! i welcome July already!

April showers bring may flowers... and what do may flowers bring? pilgrims .. i know old and dry. .. wait wait dry? nothing seems dry here today with all the rain!

its march!!! wooo-hoo i welcome warm weather, but more so , really happy to have made it through Feb.!!!!! what a challenging month!!!. i had covid ,and my warranty was extended twice due to a fever that would not go away.nooo not my warranty ,my QUARANTINE was extended .. most people got 10 days .. i had 27 days and Eric( a totally healthy 25 yr old) had over 30 days and was deathly ill for a large portion of that time !!! .. Get this? the person we got it from, was sick with what felt like a mild cold for THREE days !!! go figure. anyhow we are all feeling better . and so are the 2 people i exposed before i knew i had it (i tested neg . the first time ...even though i had caught it ) that said HELLO MARCH!!! i can add .. one of the two people i gave the covid to, she had her first vaccine , and was waiting for her second. unfortunately due to having the first one she thought she was NOT gonna get it and exposed so many at risk people, even though she was told to quarantine , after being in a car with me for 4+ hours windows up, no masks on.

checking in in Feb. while we get hit with a huge storm , over a foot of snow coming .. what a wonderful start to a new month !!!

i think its all about the mighty dollar. so yes stores will likely offer pre-black friday sales. but hold off special sales for black Friday. and i really wish for the covid scare to be way over by then!!! i have done quite A bit of on line shopping in the last so i know i will continue. but i am sure i will add back in the brick and mortar shopping. !!!

well as i explained in a different post, i ordered a 55 inch smart tv , and it arrived SMASHED .. hole in middle on screen side.. corners were so destroyed pieces of the box were even missing ,sides shredded ect. anyhow ,i contacted the place i ordered it from and sent photos. they had someone get back to me who had sent an empty email and then an email asking how i liked the response . so the a top dog lady contacted me . very nice woman . said i had every right to be irate and here i was the most friendly customer ! they did not have a replacement , as the tv was no longer available, but she found one VERY close that was just a little more and had an extra feature. she had arranged that they could send it for the price i paid for the original tv. ( i had ordered 4 TV's this year from them. this one for my son, the other 3 to be prizes for the graduates of 2021. ) anyhow... at this point i decided i would wrap the broken tv and let him open it, also they would not have to do the express shipping to ship out the new one as i didn't need it before Christmas when giving him the broken one first .. as if a gag gift kinda thing. and then tell him the new one was coming and we are sending this one back.. the person bringing it to him pretended to fall and punch a hole through it (where the hole was already there) i cant upload the video ..i was going to post and show you all. his reaction was great!!! LOL and his brother told him" look on you tube, you were able to fix your car watching you tube . maybe you can fix a screen" anyhow off to print labels to return a tv and a trade in i-phone upgrade. i wish i could post the video and share it with you guys!

WELL WELL.. if covid didnt make christmas different this year mother nature had to add her special touch. we were not doing the traditional gathering of extended family , due to covid.. but the boys were all coming with gf .. anyhow i had planned to make the entire christmas dinner. had to change plans due to threat of power outages that will last days.so cooking was out of the question. bought cold cuts and made macaroni salad.

shopping is pretty much done.. several packages still to come. and received a smashed TV.. but contacted walmart and they will give me a comparable tv at the price i paid for the one the shipping company clearly destroyed. .. anyhow it would not be here by christmas.. sooo.. i am wrapping this one. will he go nuts when we pretend to fall with it and he opens it and its smashed? but as for the rest .. shopping close to done... wrapping .. i am keeping up with incoming packages. but have a stack not wrapped and not touched waiting ... as for baking i have baked more cookies in the last few weeks then in my whole life ,i think baking is done. i even started making cocoa bombs.. and now have some friends that want some .. so i guess im not done with that lol.. i have wrapped about 140 gifts so far ..

i received my package and LOVE it..THANK YOU SECRET SANTA!!!!! i first took a picture of everything wrapped .. thinking i was going to wait till christmas .. and then got busy doing some volunteer work.. and the presents were sitting here tempting me .. as well as the 5 bags of candy , that i was eating to much of all at once. ! so .. i took the 5 bags of candy and put them away to fight temptation.. then... came back and lost the fight of temptation and opened the gifts.. (that didnt last long) i absolutely love it all !!! the throw is so so soft. i instantly opened it and wrapped myself in it!!!

December posting.. but december is the easy month as we are all still checking the site several times a day.
