Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2008
MidwestMama replied to Gator Pam's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Our Target had Grease Barbies for 75% off, which doesn't matter to me with 4 boys but they also had a little 2 pack of short barbie kids (they probably have a name) that were dressed as Batman and Catwoman. They were also 75% off so $3.xx so I got them, my 2 year old nephew is obsessed with Batman! There was also moon sand kits, speed racer hotwheels sets and cars sets (both were multiple car sets in a display box) but those were all 30% off. I am just not going to hide them, they are fairly large and I don't want them bad enough, but if they went 75% off, I'd be all over them. Wish they would right now as I am still watching for things to get my angel tree boy. -
Our store had several Biscuits for $99 and 2 Kotas for $110!!! I was so surprised! This was at near midnight so the sale had been ALL day and they were at the front by check out, so not hard to miss! I almost considered Kota. But no...

Kohl's power hours now until 4 p.m. Est tomorrow
MidwestMama replied to ralph's topic in Online Hot Deals
I am sad, they didn't have some of the items in the right size in store, AND, while I thought I had a 15% off coupon, it expired in November!!! Several of the things I wanted were signed right but rang up wrong (I prevailed) But, I was able to get nice purses to give the mom's on our angel tree list for $10.70 before the 15% off so I was happy. Also got 3 pr pajama pants for a boy and some Carters seperates for $4.90 each before 15% off for another boy. I pulled out my coupon and said "Oh shoot, i must have left my other one by the computer this morning when I was going to order online" She still gave me the 15% off. Phew! I forgot to request a gift receipt but they said you can go back in the same day and get one, so back to Kohls I go. I love to go online first and know what I am looking for even if I have to go in to avoid shipping times! -

I was buying a lot of our Angel Tree presents tonight at Kohls... one was for boys pajamas, and they are on special and 2 purses for the mom's from clearance, but now I see estimated delivery date is 12/17-12/22! Ugggg I have to turn these in by the 12th. It was $33 for me to upgrade shipping though and that isn't worth it. I may go in the store tomorrow to purchase what I can find there, but doubt I will get the purses then And I had several cute clearance shirts for one of the kids too -
You only get the $50 rebate after you have maintained 3 months in a row of $19.99 or higher service plans with them though. Not a bad deal, but not quite them paying me to take it either. DS 10 has been wanting a phone but I think we will hold off until at least summer (he'll be 11 then) This was close to pushing me over the line to get him one though!

Cricut Expression Die Cut Machine
MidwestMama replied to Red Dog's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
If you didn't get one yet, you can order the Expression for $199 +FS from Customcrops.com and say you are price matching it to the Walmart BF ad. She will do it through this Friday. I did it yesterday, no problem. Then, go to http://www.cricut.com/Default.aspx and on their homepage is some ad about $100, wait for it to change (it is slow) and it will come up with a deal that they send you two cartridges for $8!!! Read the details, needs to be purchased between 10/31 and sometime in December -
Wow, I bought one online yesterday! What a great deal! Thanks!

Those would make some good wedding party presents... like the flask. I'd be afraid they wouldn't make it before Xmas though! -
Tell me about TIVO........
MidwestMama replied to alacazander's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Just a thought... we have DVR from Dish Network, but it was also available when we had cable. I LOVE IT!!! We too have the two channel record, so you can record something and watch something else, record 2 things at once etc... We go through the cable channels and tend to record things that play overnight and thenm watch them later. Plus I record my soap opera. I love that. So, it is $10 per month to have DVR with our package, and that is what it cost to have it with the cable company here too. There is no equipment to buy, you get it with that $10 per month, and if it breaks, you aren't out anything, they just give you another. I can have it record a whole series, or just one show too, so it may make sense to go this route instead of the TIVO route... not sure what benefits TIVO offers that we dont have, but I am so happy with what we do have! -
St Judes Children's Research Hospital Gift Sale Over 50% Off
MidwestMama replied to vsa3janes's topic in Online Hot Deals
St Jude now has a code... 20% off your order if it totals $100 or more. The code is CHRISTMASGIFT08 and is valid 12/1-12/7 http://shop.stjude.org/GiftCatalog/shop.do?cID=12210 -
They refused to adjust my hoodie, saying it was ringing up at $20 and that was the price of that one. End of story. I had brought back in the receipt only as I didn't think it would be a problem. My FIL really wants one so I may still keep it for the $20, but I am royally pissed.

Cricut Machine at WM, cheaper than BF $184 + FS
MidwestMama replied to MidwestMama's topic in Online Hot Deals
I bought the create and jukebox last week and price adjusted on BF. They were awesome on this! Not a problem in the world doing it. Just wish I had gotten the expression instead. I just look at ad scans, not the write up so I didn't notice. Still kicking myself over this. Grrrrrrr Now WM has the Expression kit in their Cyber Monday sales for $379!!! -
I ordered from Gap and Old Navy and was able to use the free shipping plus 15% off on GAP and 20% off on ON codes, all 3 stacked fine. I don't know if Piperlime would be free ship if you ordered from something else with free ship since it says one shipping charge for all stores... worth a shot, order some $1 socks from ON baby and add the 20% off, worth the .80 for free shipping if it works. I have never tried Piperlime and they still seem pretty pricey. I just have to try on shoes too...

Cricut Machine at WM, cheaper than BF $184 + FS
MidwestMama replied to MidwestMama's topic in Online Hot Deals
That is the one I got, I thought it was more but DH bought it for me for Xmas so I didn't pay attention. This year I bought the Create at Michaels on BF for $150. Plan on just selling mine, but I would have bought the expression instead. I wish they would have said that in their ad!!! I was at WM at 4am so I could have gotten one but I didn't head there since I assumed it was the baby. -

MidwestMama replied to MidwestMama's topic in Online Hot Deals
Oh MAN!!! If I would have known that I would have bought it! I didn't say Expression in the ad, just personal cutting machine. Are you sure? Last year it was the regular one at this price. I bought one. -
St Judes Children's Research Hospital Gift Sale Over 50% Off
MidwestMama replied to vsa3janes's topic in Online Hot Deals
My son is a patient there and has been for the last 3 years. We have gotten LOTS of their merchandise and it is very well made. There are also Halloween and thanksgiving items on there as well as pretty watches, etc... It goes to a really wonderful cause. The doctors here told us he would not survive, perhaps had 6 months to live. We went to St Jude and he is doing well 3 years later. His medical bills to St Jude have been over $350,000 of which insurance only paid $78,000 and we have never received a bill, St Jude covers it all. And they paid for our housing when we were living down there for treatment. It is an amazing place and if you can support a wonderful cause AND get great deals even better right! So thanks for any purchases/donations that you do because it really really helps! -
This was in the BF ad for $199! Free site to store shipping. http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=8000346
