It really was. I guess this is what they regularly look like? I don't shop there. I was lured in by the 30% off clearance stuff. Lol

Well, not only were all the racks of clearance stuff gone, but there weren't any sales at all. I have to say JCP was much more attractive to me with all the sale signs over the weekend. It was empty and boring in there today. Guess they didn't make a fan out of me after all.

Isn't it crazy that they're back? My little brother used to play with them when we were kids. My sons even dressed up as ninja turtles for Halloween this year!

Same here! I went ahead and got the Shellraiser van, Shredder, and the turtles my son doesn't already have.

25 cents???? I need to run to my JCP tomorrow! What kind of stuff was it? All departments? (if you can't tell I'm freaking out). Also, which part of the country are you in? I'm wondering if it's all stores!

I wonder how they choose who gets the coupons. My mom used to get them but since they started changing stuff she hasn't gotten any, and we actually haven't been shopping there. That 30% off clearance lured us in last week and we might be shopping at JCP again.

Hey I keep meaning to ask, how did you guys get the coupons? Is it just for credit card holders or did you sign up for emails or what?

Our Target's shelves are almost bare in the Halloween section, so I didn't get any cereal or food items. I did score some great stuff though! Thanksgiving cups and kids placemats for 50% off, a costume for ds3 for next year and a doggie costume for 70% off, and some odds and ends like tablecloths, pens, party favors, and coffee mugs for 70% off. Very happy! There's nothing left at ours now but the candy at 50% off.

I watch the screen too! I live the little tidbits of info and the pretty pictures. Christmas music is my absolute favorite.

The Sounds of the Seasons channel on our cable ( for us it's ch 433 comcast) started its Christmas music today!!! I was listening to it while cleaning earlier. I'm ready to wrap some gifts!

Stopped by today to see if I could find any good deals on shirts for my kids after having such success on clothes for dh the other day. I ended up finding 3 shirts for ds3 including a Jake and the Neverland Pirates one and 3 shirts for ds8 that all rang up at $2.10 each! Then I checked the purses on our way out and got 2 $45 purses for $7 each! One is for my mom for Christmas and the other is mine. My cashier said tomorrow is the last day for the sale.

I live 5 minutes down the road from ours, and I pass it on my way to Walmart and Target every black Friday and it's insane!!! Last year we passed by around 9:15 and the line of cars to get into the parking lot was backed up to the highway!

Wasn't sure where to stick this, so feel free to move this if needed. One of my girlfriends works at a store in our local Tanger Outlets and she said the black Friday sales will start at 10 pm Thanksgiving night. I don't know if this is news or not, I don't do the outlets on BF, but I wanted to pass it along.

My favorite part is spending quality time with my brother, working together to make sure we get the things we're out for, and feeling the excitement of the holiday season fully kick in!

Men's dress clothes were an extra 30% off clearance items today! Scored some nice dress shirts for dh for $5 and $7! Can't beat that! Grabbed a pair of dress pants for $7 too! They also had men's pajama lounge pants marked down to $15, got them for $11.50.

I saw that too and was wondering if that's what I want for him. Is that a good one? Maybe I need to get up there and see it in person after Sandy moves through. I don't even know what you use this kind of saw for, so I don't know what a good stroke would be. I want that sawzall! I'll check with my local Ace tomorrow to see what the hours will be on BF. I've never gone to Ace on BF before, but that's a great deal and exactly what I'm looking to get dh for christmas.

My husband puts the outside lights up the weekend before Thanksgiving but we don't light them until thanksgiving night. The tree and indoor decorations go up the weekend after Thanksgiving.

Question: it says it's free with any Skylanders purchase of $100 or more. Do you think that includes the megablocks sets and plushes? I've already bought the game, 3 giants, and 3 figures, but I would be willing to buy some of the other stuff to add to Christmas to get the wham shell case thingy for my son. Plan B would be buying the game again at TRU along with some figures and returning the game I already have to GameStop, but I would rather not. what do you think? Is the $100 in Skylanders stuff including anything with that brand? Thanks for your help.
