okay, i must be blind. I have gone to the store ad, but don't see a map anywhere.

I'm all in for this. I've already got the 360, and this would be our big family gift. I'm hoping I can score this in store because I'm not sure if it'll be online.

I'm not doing Layaway, but have a question. Let's say you did decide to put it in the cart and hang out for 10 hours. Doesn't the price in the system automatically change at 8:00? So, would you even be able to get the "deal" if you waited? I know a few weeks ago I bought the razor pocket mod. It was 40 dollars off until Sunday. I went on Sunday afternoon and they were out. i went back again at about midnight and they had just got a shipment in. As I was checking out the clock struck midnight and the price changed on the system. Fortunately, the manager was there and adjusted it for me.

It depends on the context of "need". When saying "need" to live, you are correct. When saying "need" to make it "WHAT YOU WANT", that is a different need. It's the action that is important here. By saying "need for the type of Christmas they can enjoy and afford, it's not saying "need to live." Basic comprehension.

I hope that barbie camper is a better price than the 70 everyone is selling it for! They still list it as 85 currently. Nobody is selling it for more than 70 right now.

Well, have you seen the absurd salaries of the CEO and other "higher ups"? I don't buy them needing to open at midnight. With that ad, they could open on Saturday and have the same size line and make the same profit as midnight.

This will be one of my last stops. Hopefully there is plenty left at 7 a.m.!

having a choice doesn't make it right. Some people do the black friday out of need not want. The low prices allow them to have the type of Christmas they enjoy and can afford. The employees, I'm sure, value their job and aren't going to quit because of a few inconvenient nights. Still, that doesn't mean that they shouldn't be upset the retailers are opening even earlier to line their corporate pockets. This statement is crap. People who have been paying attention know the difference in where the money is spent, AND IT ISN'T THE POOR FOLKS WORKING THE STORES! I am fortunate to have a great job that gives me my holiday's off. But, that doesn't mean I don't feel badly for the people working. And, it doesn't mean I'm going to miss out on deals on Black Friday. But, I'd be going if it starts at midnight, 3 a.m. 6.a.m or anytime between or after.

I'll be there by 6. Can't miss the video games/movies/12 volt ride on convertible.

I talked to a manager a week ago, and she said it'll be 40% off. But open early! UGH.

Exactly right. In the past it hasn't been "advertised" per say. But, they have lots of items for 50% off all day, but an extra 20% until either 10 am or noon. I can't remember which. You can get lots of great deals!!! I'm looking forward to it because I should be finished with my Target/WalMart/KMart shopping earlier this year. So, I'll be able to take advantage of the deals!

Hey Jets, I'm going to down in Myrtle Beach for BF this year (I'm from PA). I was wondering if it's as crazy down in MB as it is around here where you have to line up at like 2:00 at BB for a ticketed item (earlier this year I guess with a midnight opening). Or, because it is a summertime vacation spot, it's less crazy and you can wait longer to get in line.

Yeah, last year that Samsung 32" TV could be found in some locations for under 200!

My only "must have" here is the Kinect w/ Wipeout 2 and adventure for 99. Is it going to go fast? My other "wants" are the Air Hog choppers, Leappad games, and Barbie Jet.

The only thing I saw was Cookie, the puppy. I'm usually quite pumped about TRU, but this year seems more about quantity than quality. Lots of stuff cheap, but not much new stuff from my kids' lists. I was really hoping the barbie jet and/or camper would be a BF item. Target has "a" jet, but not sure if it's the same one. Nobody has the camper. I know it's already "on sale" like everywhere for $70, but I was hoping like 40 or 50.
