  1. I was SHOCKED to find there was one whole aisle (both sides) of Easter stuff left at the Coldwater Rd. WM! At least 75% off but basket stuffer items were .10-.25. There was even quite a bit of candy left.
  2. (Fort Wayne) Glenbrook was at 90% (75% bagged candy) this morning. Blue Dot 75% off. I got there a few minutes after opening and saw the 75% off signs, but scanned some items and they were 90%. There was alot of candy left. I might hit the Northwood store tomorrow although I don't really need anything
  3. I was at Target the other day and noticed Easter candy and basket filler items on end caps all over the store. They had a full end cap of Robin's Eggs in shoes! I've never noticed this before and wondered what it all meant???? This store has plenty of Easter candy and items in its Seasonal area. I'm thinking there will be plenty of things left over at 90% (fingers crossed anyway). Is anyone else's store like this? I haven't checked the other stores in town yet.
  4. Not in one (Coldwater Rd.) here either
  5. I stopped at Wags yesterday and noticed they had a big orange paper on the door that was an application to sell alcohol! I asked the cashier about it and signed a petition (FOR) and she said it was new. Does anyone else's Walgreen's sell alcohol or is it just an Indiana thing? There are no alcohol sales on Sundays here still but that might change. I was looking for some cheap Hannah Montana things for a donation to a school dance but didn't find any
  6. I'm about done with Christmas clearance anyway but the Xmas stuff was just in a cart in the aisle. There was only one thing in the cart I would have taken at 90% but I'll keep my eyes open anyway!
  7. Fort Wayne- Glenbrook and Northwood both at 75%. I'd assume Jefferson Pointe is too. If anybody wants the Christmas Story train set, Glenbrook had ten of them and about 30 or more Handy Manny workbenches. Wooo hoooo!
  8. I can hardly believe it,but my closest CVS had Christmas stuff at 50% off They had tags on them but I went ahead and scanned to make sure. The tissues you found for .29 were $1.49 here! (I scooted over to Wags and their perfume sets were 50% and some other Christmas stuff was 50% too!?) Funny how different stores are.
  9. AWESOME noehlp! It feels so good to score that deal I appreciate all the tips and advice you bring to the board.
  10. Happy New Year Fellow GottaDealers! Pshaw--just stopped at a CVS (not my closest one) and Christmas still at 50%. On the bright side,I got my quarterly ECB for $1.50 :)
  11. Thank you so much for posting this! I got an adorable topper type thing (I've never seen one like it) today for $10,which I considered as "free":a gift to myself
  12. Our daytime Christmas Eve tradition is to go to the mall. We get there early (so we don't have to park a mile away) and basically just walk around til it's time for lunch then we all eat whatever we want at the Food Court. Most all my shopping is done by then (except for a late last-minute deal or lottery tickets)--let me tell you that there are big time deals to be had on Christmas Eve,especially right at closing time! I remember last year at Claire's,they were selling ALL their Christmas stuff for ONE DOLLAR! Lipgloss sets regularly $10,red and green striped toe socks, hair things all for a dollar. I lost my itty bitty mind and even after giving tons away to my little nieces,I still have some left for this year. I will try to restrain myself this year
  13. I'm glad you thought of getting her a new bike--that will be perfect! Merry Christmas from one tomboy to another
  14. They also had bottoms for $10 in store. Were they also online? I'm glad I got what I got.Not sure about some of the sizes but DD14 can always exchange for something else. Pretty good deal, imo.
  15. I will say that you have some lucky kids :) About the only things I can think of that you don't mention she has already.... iPod (the Nanos are around $100) portable dvd players (those have come way down in price though) cell phone portable digital tvs Rockband 2 digital camera (I know the DSi is a camera, but is it a good one? idk) Flip video camera actual musical instrument (e.g. guitar) Good luck. I'm still not done shopping for my crew yet but I still have a few days left to panic
  16. Thank you. I won't be out after midnight, but will probably be out before 7. I hope the roads are cleared off more by then.
  17. Thanks! I want that kitchen for $15 lol (scroll down on the ad). Does anyone know how the 24 hr. stores do it? Those deals listed-surely they would sell them round the clock, right? We only have 24 hr. stores here.

    Holiday Recipes

The easiest and best tasting caramel corn recipe (courtesy of Mr. Food) 1 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. honey 1 stick butter (wth, use the real stuff) Boil this for 5 minutes (it will be a light brown foamy mixture). Remove from heat and add 1 tsp. vanilla. Pour the hot mixture over the top of 12 cups of popped popcorn (I use a very flavorful, fattening Orville Reddenbacher's Movie Theater Butter microwave popcorn. A good popcorn will yield a good caramel corn) and stir it all up to coat. If you like, add a cup or two of whatever nuts you like. Bake at 250 for one hour, stirring every 15 minutes. I use two roasting pans or rimmed and lined-with-Reynold's-Non-Stick-aluminum-foil cookie sheets. Let cool for a little bit then break into pieces. This is an addictive substance and should come with a warning label! I always give this as teacher's gifts and they all say it's the best they've ever had. Enjoy!
  19. Ugh,I pulled all my stuff out today and..... I need to go shopping! I haven't really spent all that much because I am determined not to buy stuff just so there are things under the tree. Things the kids ask for but I KNOW they will not play with for long are just not happening this year. The things I gave to charity this spring would have paid for Christmas. I am trying to focus on gifts I know the kids will enjoy for more than just Christmas Day. It's hard though and with about 8 days left to shop,I am starting to PANIC
  20. Got mine today! It was on backorder from Cyber Monday. I think DS12 is gonna love it!
  21. Exactly. Unlike the old ones, these new digital ones will NOT pick up a station while in the car which really stinks imo.
  22. Tons of them on Amazon---look at the Hot Deals in Toys and Games.
  23. Hobby Lobby sells them.
  24. I agree! I don't like the B&M store but have had nothing but great luck on-line. I got free shipping on CM so it was hard to beat shopping from the comfort of my computer chair :)
  25. Yes. I was happy as I was upset I didn't get it for around $40 on BF at Amazon. It was oos and jumped to around $70 when I had it in my cart. Sooooo happy to get a good deal on it on CM as I didn't actually need it until the 26th!
