Dollar Spot is 75% off this morning! I got LOTS of things-batteries for a quarter and many things for birthdays/holidays. Christmas is still 75% off so I'm waiting for the 90% off before I go back.

I got mine (4 ft. pre-lit) on BF at Wags BOGO $19.99 and they've survived the ice storm! They are in heavy urns and are very nice.

I scored a coup with Starbucks chocolates today-everything was 75% off and there were some Egg Nog Truffle bags for .99 and some kind soul left 2 $1 off coupons right on the shelf so I got those for free.I have no clue who will eat them but I can't pass up "free".I got the things I really wanted today and will wait on the 90% off for everything else. The busier Target near the mall had barely anything left but another store nearby had TONS of stuff! Also wanted to mention that The Dollar Spot was 50% off (black spots): I picked up some cute Hello Kitty things for DD4 and other things :).

Walgreens this week has the Duracell charger (it comes with 2 batteries) and also the 4 pack rechargeables for $8.99 each. Look for a peelie coupon on the packages too!

DD4 wants Santa to bring her a "real baby sister". Oh no! I got her some twin baby dolls-hopefully those two will keep her so busy that she won't notice the lack of a real baby in the house.

I'm kind of interested in this type of gift myself and I think I'm going to check out Waldenbooks or Borders.They often have little displays with trinket-y type things (especially bookmarks).Good luck to us both!

The parents all chip in on a gift for the teacher/s and the Home Room Mom takes care of it all. On a more personal level,I make caramel corn and white-chocolate dipped pretzels and put those in pretty bags for the teachers.

I don't know the price but KMart sells them.

Do you have Payless shoe stores? How about TSC or even some farm supply stores like the Co-Op?

I got mine at Target on 11/23.The price was $49.99 but the helpful Sales Associate found me a $5 off coupon and I also received a 10% Red Card discount so it ended up being a pretty good deal. Apparently,they were hard to find but there was one left when I rang up at Electronics so I took it before they put it out on the shelf.That was early on a Sunday morning and they'd just got a truck in. I had no problem PA'ing at 9 a.m. :) I did more shopping and while electronics and toy depts. were crowded with shoppers,I picked up plenty of deals.The employees were helpful,numerous and busy with restocking.Target was wonderful today,IMO and I'll be sure to let corporate know that!

There were tons left at our WM around 4:30 p.m. (nothing very good IMO) but I picked up 5 anyway.Heck,I can always take them back! You can barely rent a movie for $2 any more...

There were probably 20 left when I was there at 4:30 p.m.I don't know how many they started with though....

I scored good stuff at Meijer this a.m. then my awesome on-line BB deals and to cap off the day,I got my CVS BF deals done too! It was a very successful day and a portent of good things to come,I hope! HAPPY BLACK FRIDAY!!!!!!

I picked mine up last Sunday and will get a PA this weekend.It was in a locked case in automotive and an associate had to get the key and unlock it.

My sil ended up not going to get the 32" tv so I didn't get to Meijer until 5:15.Good thing I wasn't going for the tv or video games the line was too long for me to wait in. I got everything I wanted and more though! I bought 6 of the airsoft gun sets they had ($14.99 reg. $39.99) and 15 containers of the 6mm"bb's" ($1.99 reg. $5.49) for my son and nephews.Got the Leapster for my little girl...she's gonna freak! Got the NICE NCAA hoodies half-off (4 of those @ $9.99) and other things that caught my eye. I was really wondering if the economy was going to make it easier or harder to shop this year.On one hand,people have less money to spend; on the other,with less money,folks need to watch their pennies and shop the deals.I think it's going to be a strong BF sales weekend (at least here) if Meijer was any indication. JMO The deals were definitely there today for those who wanted to wait in line,so take heart BF shoppers and good luck to everybody tomorrow!

I'm heading to Meijer at 4:30 tomorrow morning My sil wants the 32" tv and I'm getting that Leapster for DD4 no matter who I hafta kill (lol...j/k). I can't wait!I've already made my coffee and will just heat it up in the morning and I'm on my way.Thanksgiving Day shopping at Meijer has always been very tame but you just never know anymore.I'm not taking any chances,iow!

Do you have a CVS card? They have a Craig 2GB with screen for $24.99 minus $5 Easy Bucks. They are in stores now even though they are advertised for BF. HTH

After reading this forum,I decided to go ahead and get some things this morning off the BF list.I asked the CS lady about price adjusting this weekend and even she suggested to me to get some things now and then come back later for the PA! I also opened a credit card with them and saved an extra 10% off my total purchase: that saved me $77.I got the GPS I wanted,a Wii console,some games,cell phone and lots of other things.I will get to Target on Saturday and pick up whatever I else I can find from the 2 day sale. The sales associates are the best at Target! The one who suggested applying for the cc and getting 10% off,also found me a coupon for $5 off MarioKart that were available in a booklet in store :).
