The tree and decorations don't go up until the Sunday after Thanksgiving, but I start (mostly secretly) listening to Christmas music the day after Halloween

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2010
HansieDZ replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I went in search of the Kodak C182 camera but no luck. I did find the Crosley Jukebox CD player for $74.98. I'd love to get this for my mother so hoping it goes lower! http://www.target.com/s?keywords=Crosley+juke+box+CD+player&searchNodeID=1038598&ref=sr_bx_1_11&x=17&y=11 Says it is not available in stores, but it is -
I just some wonderful deals and am printing off another so I can go back tomorrow! This is off regular, sale AND clearance prices apparel and accessories. Good until Oct. 23 http://www.sears.com/ue/home/1015_SearsDays_10off20_EM.pdf?lid=apparel_coupon_copy&rioptype=SC&sid=IOx20101015SRSBAUOctWK2SO2F4MNTH&eml=12562045&ruid=1001903 Plus,I casually mentioned that I paid more than twice for a hoodie 2 weeks ago and the cashier gave me a price adjustment! I didn't know they did that. The p.a. practically paid for my purchase today.

That's hysterical! Love it though :) My DS9 asked for a backscratcher 2 years ago.
-
No kidding! I would treasure that gift all my life!
-
Oh,she will surely love it! Please let us know. I get my greatest joy now from seeing those I love happy.
-
This really touched me! YOUR best gift might have also been the horse's best gift :)

I went to a different CVS today and they didn't have any of the clearance items txsupermom posted nor any that I got at my other store BUT I found 2 boxes of the Soda Pops freezer pops for .29 (90% off) and I got 6 cans of sour cream and onion Pringles 4.9 oz. size for .09 (90%) so I was happy.

Like Gator Pam mentioned, scan the machine the first thing when you come in the door. You never know what will pop out. Today I got a coupon for .99 off a bag of Brach's candy corn which was selling for .99. So that was one free item right there. Then I mentioned my 90% off finds. Unlike Target,CVS' deals will likely be right in the aisles-I basically go thru each aisle of my little (closest) 24-hr. store to find deals. They are not usually in one certain spot, although today, the meager remnants were at the end of the Halloween aisle in my store. I have "Deal Eyes" and they automatically spot a 75% off or more sticker

I believe it too-this sounds just like something Walgreens would do! I love Wags on BF! I'd love to know what else they will be having......

I was headed out to CVS-good thing I checked this thread first! Unfortunately,my store did not have a single thing you showed but I scored a Zhu Zhu pet lunch box for .79 (90% off) so I was happy. I got the free candy corn also.My store had several odd items marked 75% off: a hanger for the back of a door and also a 4-sided clock and a rolling shopping cart. Even for $2.49,I couldn't think of a possible need for them in my house. I could see the sign for some small boxes of chocolate chip cookies for nine cents (90% off) but no cookies. That was about all I could find that I wanted. This was in an area at the end of the Halloween aisle at my store.

Of course, this will be a walk down Memory Lane but here's hoping we all remember that special time in our life when Want met Reality and we got what we wanted (at that time of our lives) Here's mine: a Dallas Cowboys coat circa 1970. Even though I was a girl (still am,hehe),I was CRAZY about the Cowboys but in my southwestern Indiana town,we were a long ways from Dallas,Texas yet I was just crazy about the Cowboys! That year,Sears carried the Cowboys jacket (it was the baseball style jacket-blue with silver sleeves and the star logo on the left breast) and lo and behold! there was that beloved jacket under the tree with my name on it! I also have a Dallas Cowboys football helmet bank from that Christmas that I still have to this day. I know we all have memories of wanting a specific toy or item for Christmas and having our dreams fulfilled that Dec. 25 morning. Thanks for sharing!

I recently bought a Kindle 2 cover at Target (75% off) and wondered about keeping it or not. I am hoping to get an ereader (most likely a Kindle of some sort) for my husband for Christmas but wondered if a cover was actually necessary and if I bought the right thing at all anyway. So you DO think a cover is necessary? I have until January to return this cover for something I don't even have though. I am so undecided....Hubby so wants a Kindle but I am open to the best deal I can find out there. Thus my interest in this thread :)

I'll be watching this thread and hoping for good luck on getting an ereader this holiday season!

Meijer has been my favorite store for many BFs now. They have a truly wonderful BF ad,but also great Thanksgiving and Black Saturday sales. Also,3 day sales for plenty of great items.I do a ton of holiday shopping at Meijer, especially using their Santa Bucks.

czpiaor-thanks for posting a picture! I went to Target trying to find this deal and didn't really have a clue what I was looking for. They didn't even have a single Kindle left in the case! I'm going to try a different Target tomorrow. NOW I know what to look for! Just curious-was yours in a locked case or not? TIA -
Good deal!

I got $2.50 but haven't redeemed it yet. The woman who checked out in front of me got back $7.50!!

Ahhhh....it must be Intiation time! I remember it well, even though it's been 28 years ago.... You might want to try Goodwill/Salvation Army but if you can't find a real dress, a lot of us just wore slips and camisoles-for us,it didn't have to be a dress; just pure white. After all,it occurred in the middle of the night (like 2-3 a.m.) and noone else saw us but our sisters. Congrats to your niece!

My Garmin Nuvi from BF '08. Don't know if it was just the Garmin brand or what, but that thing was wrong right out of the box For someone as directionally handicapped as I am,I need something that will not make mistakes. I felt I could never trust it. I was really happy to get it early and go back in to Target on BF for a price adjustment, but it has never worked to my expectations and I am so sad about that.

OMG! I remember the Wish List pickles from last year!
-
That's very convenient! I hadn't heard you could do it that way. I always hated having to go to a store each week to make the payment. Seems like I always bought something when I went in
-
Awesome KC! It surely makes your day when you find good things at 90% off.

Stick around-it's like Black Friday year round here on Gotta Deals! In another month, this place will be sizzling. It's so much fun! Welcome
