  1. My CVS hasn't gone to 90% on seasonal in over a year. 75% is the lowest it will go and then it stays on the shelf about one week before being boxed up. That's one of the reasons I don't shop there as often as I used to. During the summer clearances, I would buy the entire department (exaggeration, but seemed like it;)) for the following swim season and I sooo looked forward to buying all my pool toys/towels for 90% off. I think 2011 was the last time I got to do that and each holiday since then clearance has only gone down to 75%. If anyone sees it go 90% I would make the run to check. So love moving that decimal one place to the left!!
  2. All stores finally went 90%. Got most of what everyone has posted but didn't see the following mentioned (if I missed a post, these may be duplicates): Betty Crocker snickerdoodle cookie mix ringing .20 Wilton cinnamon drops (think red hots in a spice jar) ringing .19 totes mens slippers (in clogs and closed heels) 1.50 totes air pressure gauge shaped like a tire 1.50 Angry birds boxers in clear ball ornament .99 glittery cell phone holders, keychains, coin purses .79 (these were in the junior department) silicone coin purses (these were in the cardboard Christmas trees and they were neon colors) .69 holiday jewelry (earrings, bracelets) .79 Almost stroked out when I found a shelf full of dial hand soap with holiday themes all over them. Scanned and they were 2.49. Halloween Goldfish crackers revisited!! Great post seasonal clearance for me. Now . . . where to store it all?
  3. 75% off in North DFW. Didn't make the score I did last year, but walked out with a few gift sets (Drakkar 4.xx, body wash sets 3.xx, nautica 4.xx), paper plates and some wintogreen lifesavers in a tin.
  4. No movement here, but toys usually get marked on Thursdays at my stores.
  5. OMG! Got to my Dillards at 10am and the parking lot was full. Asked a clerk and she said they opened at 9:30am. The place was a madhouse! People arguing over shoes, barely enough room to walk and clerks overwhelmed. Got upstairs and it was almost as bad as the downstairs. I don't go out on Black Friday, but I imagine what I saw today was pretty close to that event. This was my first NYD at Dillards and I was not prepared. I usually go to the 40% off sales but that extra 10% made people a little goofy. Still, I had a reward certificate burning a hole in my wallet and managed to find some great deals on bras, socks and even found a couple of nice sweaters. The purses had been decimated. I didn't even try to walk thru the department. I wanted to video the shoe department, but didn't want to stand still too long for fear of getting run over. Well, I have officially started out my New Year with a "first" and have to admit, I giggled a little to myself as I walked out to my vehicle. One adventure down . . . and it's only January 1st!! Happy New Year to all my fellow "adventurers"!!
  6. Thanks so much for this post!! I got a set of RR pots/pans for Christmas and I love them!! I've been wanting this baking set, but didn't want to drop $50. At $15, I even bought a couple sets as gifts too. Can't beat that price. Great find and so nice of you to share.
  7. 70% North DFW on everything that was 50% and everything that was 30% is now 50%. Hit the mother load on tissues. No way was going to risk waiting for 90%. I can commiserate with the members that miss out on the paper products . . . they elude me too. But, today I am the "Tissue Queen". This must be what it feels like to the win the lottery!!

  9. Glad to see the small bag of goldfish were ringing 50% off. I checked the large cartons, and just like Halloween, regular price. So, grabbed a few of the small bags. Expiration was Feb 3rd. The Up & Up brand tissues 90 count were .69 so stocked up on those as they are never left at 70%.
  10. I don't do facebook and can't get the coupon to print from link on post 4. Anyone else having problems? Couldn't find it on their coupon site either. I did this last year, several times (groceries and Christmas presents), and it really helped.
  11. My stores never got any good outdoor decorations. I bought a wrought iron arch years ago that's my favorite (says "Welcome" on top and has orange/purple lights all over with hanging spiders) and two years ago they had these light up jack-o-lantern totem poles that were neat. I kept hoping to see something worthy of stalking, but no luck here:( Maybe next year. Anyone in DFW area see 90% off on Halloween yet? I'm thinking middle of week.
  12. So the thought is that Target won't stick to 7 days until 90%? Trying to figure out if I should hoof it up to my store or not. I will be watching for the West Coasters to post:).
  13. Weird markdowns here too. Got lots of food items at 70% off (cake mixs, frosting, frosting in a spray can, popcorn bucket for movie night, theater candy) but rest was 50%. Didn't check costumes. Dollar spot at 70%. Holiday dollar spot will usually drop to 90% off with the rest of the holiday merchandise. Very hard to find sometimes, but when summer went 90% here, I scored quite a few dollar spot items for .10. Hopefully Halloween will follow suit. HTH.
  14. Goldfish all gone:( but did get the granola with chocolate, fruit roll ups, fruit gummies, disposable coffee cups, napkins, halloween hefty quart zip bags, etc. Candy was 30% but the boxed "theater" candies were 50% along with willy wonka candy. FYI: Walmart had all their candy 50% off. One of the only times I will shop at Walmart is the day after Halloween so I can stock up on candy for the holidays (teacher gifts, etc.). Huge selection of candy that didn't have any Halloween motif. Also got boxes of Keebler cookies (20 bags per box) for 3.25 each. Expires August 2013.
  15. SCORE!! I don't usually shop at JCP, but the allure of these posts was too much. Went in and found jeans for my 6 foot 13 year old!! 30 x 34!! These are so hard to find and I found 7 of them!! Ended up costing me 6 bucks a piece!! Also picked up dockers, dress pants, dress shirts and more. All told, I was out of there for $73! Great shopping day. Thanks OP!!
  16. Pur Water Filter Systems went 70% off. Picked up one for 10.76. Lots of clothing marked 70% off. Got mens Champion short sleeve shirts (wicking fabric) for 4.xx. Nice color combinations (royal/grey, red/grey, green/grey). It's in the 80s here, so these are perfect for fall baseball. Stationary items marked 70% off too. Spirals, invitations, paper party products, and crayola sidewalk art kits (3D, sand art, color bubble blower)
  17. Great day at Target. Thanks to previous post, I went through the toy department and cleaned up. Kreo building sets 2.xx, 5.xx Lego Harry Potter Game 9.xx Zoobles set 7.xx Board Games 3.xx to 6.xx (sliders, cuponk, pictionary, etc) Baby doll sets 3.xx to 8.xx I will try and post #s later when I have time.

  19. TODAY! Stumbled across the sale this morning. Everything marked down is now an additional 40% off. Got over half my Christmas shopping done. Lots of Coach purses (only one style in leather), lots of D&B and other brands I didn't recognize. Got some great summer bags (large wicker, plaids) that were originally 99.00 marked down to 14.99 then 40% off plus my 10% off shopping pass = $8!! Thats was better than 90% off!!! Also got boys clothes, mens polos and some great clothes for me too. Best shopping day at Dillards in a long time. **Today is for cardholders only, but I'm assuming they will take any payment tomorrow. I didn't get the email notice this time, so not sure when the sale will end, but guessing Sunday.
  20. BTS salvaged here. A few items scattered with red tags. The stores were honoring the prices.
  21. Backpacks finally went to 70% off here. Also found the Sterilite large plastic pencil boxes for .28 reg .99
