  1. Nerf water guns FINALLY went to 70%! They've been at 50% off for almost a month. They've been marked on Thursdays before, so I was very surprised to see them marked down today. Oh well, very glad I needed laundry detergent!! Stocked up for end of school year pool party . . . now, where to hide them?? Also saw lots of toys marked 30%-50% (baby dolls, transformers, and lots of "pink" things . . . I've got all boys, so didn't get a good look). Summer inflatables, and water toys marked 30%.
  2. Lawn and Garden 70% folding chairs glass top patio table yard chemicals (weed killer, grass fertilizer, etc) insect repellent garden togs gardening tools planters cushions
  3. Kids started on August 27th here, and most of our supplies haven't moved either. Thought for sure it would be today. Did find the filler paper, graph paper, spirals and composition books at 70% off, but that was it. The post-it notes were finally 50%, so I picked up a few for our teachers. Did find some lawn and garden stuff marked down 70% (solar lanterns, solar lights shaped like rocks).
  4. Albertsons has 3x5 index cards (lined and unlined) for .25 each with no limit. Also had 5pack dividers for .25 each and 15 pack pencil top erasers for .25. Best deal for me so far on index cards.
  5. Lots of markdowns in groceries. Picked up: Jello and jello pudding packs (6 count) 1.38 was 2.79 Archer Farms side mixes (spaghetti pesto, garlic and herb penne, red pepper penne) .98 was 1.99 Archer Farms Chile con Queso soup mix 1.98 was 3.99 Simply Asia sesame teriyaki 1.18 was 2.39 Campbell soup tomato 4pack 1.25 was 2.50 Campbell soup chicken noodle 4pack 1.67 was 3.34 Hormel Completes .84 was 1.68 Pillsbury Cinnabon rolls 1.38 was 2.76 Goya large can pickled whole jalapenos .70 was 1.40 Also saw lots of seasoning packets (brown gravy, chili packets, buffalo chicken, etc) all 50% off too. Bounce Dryer Bar 2 pack 4.99 was 9.99 Lots of bleach marked down too but only 30%
  6. The Lego sets finally went down 50%: Lego Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship was 49.99 now 24.94 Lego Alien Conquest Mothership was 59.99 now 29.98 Lots marked down in the grocery department (mainly 30%) and the two packs of hair color (L'oreal and Clairol) were 50% off 5.xx. Mens and Ladies clothing markdowns everywhere. Saw several racks with 50% and 70% off signs.
  7. Boo hoo! My boys are getting too old for most of the toys and I am suffering from Toy Clearance Withdrawal!! Can't wait to see all the deals and wish everyone happy hunting.
  8. Target has the 3x5 index cards on sale for .49 this week. These are always on our supply list and I don't think I've ever found them for under fifty cents. Bought 10 packs (add didn't have a limit) and hoping that will hold us.
  9. 90% off summer in North DFW. Orange dollar spot also ringing 90% off, so .10 for bouncy balls, straws, tikki cups, stretchy frogs, etc. Toys holding at 50% with a few marked down 70% (mostly laser tag items).
  10. I picked up one of the Igloo coolers that looks like a rattan purse for 70% off. It holds 14 cans and looks really great. I didn't see any of the hard side coolers in clearance (and you are right, there were loads of coolers in the summer section of my stores too). I had just assumed they were moved and taken off clearance, just like all the small appliances were. All my stores took the bella items (mini cupcake maker, etc) off the clearance isles and they went back to regular price. CVS has their coolers at 20% off right now and they usually go down with all the other summer clearance. I picked up rolling coolers and hard sided lunchbox coolers for 90% off a couple years ago, so if you have a CVS close, keep watching their markdowns. Hope you find a good deal!
  11. Orange dollar spot is also included in the summer markdown. Most of my stores had them mixed in with the summer clearance isles. Saw lots of straws, tikki cups, glow bounce balls, rubber ducks, glow in the dark slinky, etc. all at .30. Didn't check to see if there were more items in the dollar spot location.
  12. 70% off summer in North DFW. Did very well. Don't think much will be left at 90%, but I'm sure my curiosity will get the better of me.
  13. Summer 50% today. Not sure when it went, so hard to gage 70%. I'll probably go back in a couple of days and check. Picked up napkins for 1.49 since those are what I wanted most. Legos that were 15% have now been marked down to 30% off but most everything else stayed the same. Some baby items (mostly clothes) went down to 70%. Picked up 2 packs of pants (Carters) in 9 months old for 2.68. Lots of mens clothing marked down 50% (picked up BTS jeans for 12.48 each) Best find was a Rangers hoodie for 11.98 marked down from 39.99. Been stalking these, so trip was well worth effort. Polka Dog Bakery all natural dog treats 1.34 was 4.49
  14. Summer markdown has begun . . . 30% as of yesterday. Interested to see what schedule they use this year. Last year was a cluster in my stores, so hoping for a better run. Any bets when 50% will hit??
  15. Looks like patio went 70% yesterday. Still managed to get the solar lanterns I wanted and some new planters. Also found the Scotts snap spreader for $14.xx. Toys still 50% and scattered. Dollar sport (I think blue) was 50% off.
  16. Most patio still at 50% (deck boxes that were 50% off last week are all gone).
  17. Usually happens on Thursdays too. I had been out of town, so that was my first trip to Target in over a week. Can't know for sure what day they marked but I would bet they marked on Thursday and the toys were still on the shelves. Seems most people are finding it harder to part with their money and waiting . . . that would include me too:) Does anyone know if the rest of patio went 70% today? I was surprised at how much is still on the floor at 50%.
  18. More bedding marked down to 70%. Found the king bedskirt to go with my comforter. yahoo. Toys mostly 50% now with a few down to 70%. Patio all marked down to 50% with a few decorations (lights, lawn decor) at 70%. Lots of really great frames marked down 70%. Found some that say "Grandkids" or "Family" and hold two 4x6 for 3.xx Lots of books marked down 70%. Saw signs in shoes for 70% off but the place was a mad house, so didn't even bother going over. Lots of baby stuff marked down 50% (clothing, bibs, etc.) but sign still said 30%. Best find was an internet return of Glee the First Season on Blu Ray. Originally 49.19 and marked down to $3.06. Then I had a coupon for $2 off any DVD or Blu Ray by MGM or FOX. Got the set for $1.06!!! Best day I've had in Target in a very long time. Thanks to the gotta-dealer that gave out the "heads up" on the hex bug gift cards. Found two tucked away in electronics!!
  19. Had to pick up dog food tonight and did a "walk about" . . . clearance everywhere! Best markdowns were in bedding. I know they probably were marked down during the week, but very surprised the 70% bedding was still around on Saturday night. Goodie for me! Now to see how much, if anything is left at 70%. 30%-50% off wines and groceries 30%-50% off toys (not consolidated yet, so still in regular isles but signs were everywhere) 50%-70% off bedding (got a king set for $35 was originally $115 and a full comforter for $8 originally $35) 30%-70% pet supplies 30%-50% off patio 30% off sporting goods (mostly soccer) 50% off home decor 30% off melamine plates, cups, bowls 50% off bubble gum 70% Sally Hansen press on polish (for 2 bucks and change, figured I would try it out)
  20. The email had a link to "print coupon now" kind of like when you get the notification about quarterly rewards. You get the email and can click the link and it will take you right to the coupon for printing. Just tried to access the link to copy to this reply but it's gone. Maybe not accessible because I already printed a hardcopy yesterday? I know that my spending at CVS has been minimal. Can't seem to find the deals that were so abundant last year. Not sure if that's why I'm getting coupons. When I picked up my water deal, I scanned my card and got 13 coupons. Most I won't use, but was a little surprised at how many printed. Hope you get some good coupons when you scan your card.
  21. Got another email: 1.88 for any one bag M&M's (9.9-15.4 oz.) One day only - Friday 6/15
  22. Another email today: 2.88 for 24 pack Nestle Pure Life. Wednesday (6/13) only. Scan card at coupon center. Doesn't look like this requires additional purchase.
  23. That was my first trip in about 2 weeks. I'm a little surprised/embarrassed at how much I was spending there. My stash is actually growing!!
  24. Bedding marked down 30% Entire isle of diapers marked down 15% No clearance markdowns on patio furniture (a few items marked as "temporary price cut" around 20%) but 50% on led light sets and outdoor decor Deck boxes 30% mens long sleeve solid tshirts 70% random stationery items 70% but most at 30% pet items (dog collars, bird feeders, grooming brushes, chew bones) 70%
