  1. Thanks. I looked through the pics and found the green motorized water guns but no luck on the multi packs. Bummed out, since those are always such a big hit. Now, if I could only find the batteries needed for those green water guns at 90%!!
  2. Thanks OP for the heads up on the water hoses. Picked them up this morning for .99 each. Can't find the sunblock deals. Scored the paper products at 70% (they usually disappear at 50%, so very lucky this year) and found a few stragglers at 90%. Slim picking's this year at 90%. Still managed to get the jelly belly ice shaver and green apple flavoring, so the kiddos are happy. Were there any water gun packs this year? Last year they had the 3 packs for .09 (.99 originally) and I stocked up for pool parties. Didn't see anything like that this year.
  3. Just realized that my location dropped off when the display changed. For those that had their locations listed before, could you please put your locations on again?? That has always helped me figure out what was going on in my neck of the woods without having to ask "Where are you??". I have a few of you memorized over the last 5 years (so don't ever move ), but it is still very helpful. Thanks!
  4. Yep, some patio sets went 70% off today. It really is all over the place here in North DFW. Decor 30%/50%, umbrellas 30%/50%, patio 30%/50%/70% and some items (cushions, chairs, lawn ornaments) not marked at all. Some craft items (pom-pom stuff) was 70%. Up and Up kitchen garbage bags 50% off. Found some Hot Wheels Headphones marked down 50% off (9.98 from 19.98). Toys are being marked, mostly at 30% right now, but it has begun.
  5. They were not marked, but I did overhear one of the employees telling another customer that they were "slammed" and trying to get rid of summer for back to school even earlier this year. Not sure if that means they were still marking or not. Didn't hear the ping of the markdown team anywhere near the summer isles, so I left. I've got to do a return later this week and will check again. Will post if things have changed.
  6. Patio furniture 50% off including umbrellas. Yard decor at 30%. Some yard chemicals at 30% off too. Most summer tableware (cups, plates, bowls) are red tagged at 30%. Last year I think they went with seasonal all the way down to 90% because I scored a lot of items that way. Gonna be slim pick-in's in my area.
  7. Got the 3pc jelly bean bowl set for .99 (90% off), egg salt and pepper shakers .29 each, baby bibs, rattles (mickey and minnie) .49 each. Jelly Bean bubbles are 90% off too, I think .29 each. Bags of Hershey M&Ms (coconut, pretzel, white chocolate, regular) 1.54 (50% off). Had Target coupon for $1.50 off 2 bags of M&Ms (was in an Easter coupon book I picked up at the check out counter on a visit 2 weeks ago). Frustrating markdowns. Even the chocolate eggs, chocolate bunnies still 50%. Very little left. The target employees who were consolidating everything were complaining about it too. They're ready to get all that stuff off the shelves. Buddy Biscuits and all spring dog toys still ringing full price. Glad I stocked up at Vday.

  10. I got the $10 off $25 a few weeks ago and saw a $10 off $50 come thru my email last week (expired 3/17). Would like the $10 off $10, but only received those a couple of times over the past few years.
  11. boxed pet items (toys, grooming) 70% off some bedding, placemats, valances, throws 70% off lots of kids clothing 70% and 50% off the entire stationery department seemed to be red tagged 50% (wrapping paper, bags, bows, binders, pens, pencils, glue, etc) markdowns in every department (or so it seemed) mostly 30% and 50% bodega all gone and patio/summer in it's place
  12. Too true. I didn't even stalk the Vday stuff when it went 50% or 70%. Went out when I thought it would go 90% and was happy to drop $$ at 90% but you couldn't get me to crack my wallet for 70%. My gas tank was happy too!! And the wreath is very lovely at 1.99.
  13. vday salvaged humidifiers 70% off along with the replacement filters fireplace items also 70% off (screens, ash bucket sets, grates, etc.)
  14. Comforter sets (brown w/flowers) were 70% off today. Blankets and pillows still 50%. Got some more of the boxed vday candy. The Nestle Crunch bars in boxes w/vday cards. Bars are minis without any vday graphics. 20 per box for .34 each. Also found the crayons and bouncy balls for 90% off. Lego packs ringing full price. Anyone in DFW see the outdoor doormats go 70%, please post. Mine are shot and I'm too cheap to pay the 30% off price:D
  15. Weird markdowns here in North DFW. Candy (that was clearly Vday) ringing full price (twizzlers, boxed sweet tarts with vday cards, etc), so mentioned something to a manager and she said that they should all be 90% and to let the cashier know. I went to several stores, and this was the case at all of them. So got some great deals on crunch bars, hershey kisses, twizzlers, sweet tarts AND an employee was opening a box of Russell Stovers (7oz heart shaped box of assorted chocolates) and it was actually ringing up 90% off making them .49 each. The clerk took a few boxes too. Found the 25 pack goldfish crackers (vanilla cupcake flavor) for .49. Also got cookie jars, kiddie plates, melamine plates, plastic tumblers, candy dishes, etc for 90% off. Fuzzy socks, mens boxers, mens pjs all 90% off too. Dog toys were ringing 90% off and the KREO transformers micro changers are .29. I think everything else I saw has already been mentioned. Best shopping day at Target in quite a while. Glad I ventured out and didn't wait until tomorrow.
  16. swiss army camping backpacks 70% off (11.xx) and the urban trekker was 5.98 travel packs of swabs, cotton balls and cotton pads 70% off (.41) m&m pretzel sharing size 50% off (.62) glad force flex trash bags lemon scent 50% off (4.14 then had a .55 peelie on boxes so 3.59) lots of household items marked down 50% (picked up service for 8 with nice design, includes serving set for 30.xx -- last one, so couldn't risk waiting for 70%) bedding 50% off snow shovels, salt for melting ice 30% off humidifiers 30%-50% off (have been holding at that markdown for what seems like a month) saw some toys marked down 30% - 50% off (mostly the circo stuff)
  17. 6 DQs within 30 miles and not one of them participating.
  18. Small travel accessories were 70% off today. Got the roll out toiletry bag, cosmetic bag, hard shell cd case and a couple other similar items. Found the Axe sets for 4.xx (50% off) and Old Spice, which I left on the shelf. Bedding down to 50% off and looked like some really nice comforter sets. Lots marked down in tableware to 50% off. Everything that was Christmas and had a sticker markdown, was marked 70% (nesting salt and pepper shaker, measuring spoons, etc). Toys were 50% and 70% off. Found the glow in the dark balls marked 70% off. Some Archer Farms coffee (peppermint, spiced pumpkin, etc) was marked with red sticker at 50% off and over at Starbucks they had holiday items marked down 50% too. Got a variety 9 pack of the via coffee in carry case marked down to 4.97 and had a target coupon for $2 off. They expire in May 2013. Never tried them, but for $3, I will.
  19. I went in yesterday, late afternoon, and the clerk said "these aren't working". I asked him to try it anyway, and sure enough it went thru. Each transaction had to be rung separately. I bought a couple gift cards and am kicking myself for not picking up 2 more. Vday presents taken care of but wish I had the foresight to have taken care of Fathers Day too. Oh well. I would be surprised if they honored the coupon now (it's all over the news online about the retraction) but if I had time to kill and was in the neighborhood, I would try. The worst they can do is say "no". Keep us posted if anyone tries.
