We burn thru summer/outdoor pool toys every summer and give so many of them away during pool parties. Paying a fraction of the retail makes it almost painless!! :)

All the watches were marked off 75% clearance today. Some Timex and other brands I didn't recognize, but if you're looking for a cheap watch, this might be worth a look.

Scanned the Vlasic Sweet Relish and it rang .19. Montreal Steak and Chicken seasonings also rang up .19. Found some cute black bags that had flip flops and sea shells embroidered on them for 1.29 (located in the lotions/perfume area and not marked). Everything that looks like summer is worth scanning. It was all 90% off, including the grilling items. They had these displayed in the health care isle at one store without a sign. The grill brushes are ringing .49, deluxe grill covers .89 and the other accessories were also 90% off.

Does anyone know if the markdowns still occur on a regular schedule since Monday is holiday? Even though Target is open on Labor Day, will the markdown team stick to their normal routine?

Summer finally went 75% off and I managed to stock up on pool toys, mask/snorkel sets, goggles, and even some decent toys! Found Ben 10 toys, Nerf Guns, Transformers and loads of summer toys (kites, bubbles, balls, etc) on sale. Also, there were some cleaning items 90% off! Got some Tide laundry detergent for $1.42, Clorox for colors .49, Lysol 80 count wipes .61, Scrubbing Bubbles cleaning pads .55 and the refills for .38!! Also, check the food. Sweet Baby Ray BBQ .45, Hidden Valley Ranch .65, Barilla macaroni .21/box. Flip flops were also 75% off. Some items marked, some not. Waiting to see what's left at 90% . . . betting it won't be much since one of the clerks said they were holding at 75% for 2 weeks!! In the past, they've moved from 75% to 90% within a few days. Now, waiting for the school supplies to get marked down.

I wanted to cry when I saw the first post about this!! It was always such a rush to find them, but if your Target still has the 15 packs, they are ringing 2.99. Not as good of a deal as .69 for 10, but I still stocked up. Between school and sports, we go thru those things like crazy and 2.99 for 15 is better than 2.99 for 10. Oh well, it was fun (and a great money saver) while it lasted!

We love the Levi's board shorts and those were marked to 14.99, so I got them for 8.99 and the selection was still pretty good. Also had tons of polos, so my oldest is set. Next year he starts middle school and they don't wear uniforms, so I think I've got a good head start. I wasn't too surprised that all the Coach purses were gone. Last time they did the 40% off I was lucky enough to find a red leather "Zoe"(I think that's right?) by Coach and when I went to check out, the clerk said that she couldn't believe my luck because as soon as they go on sale, people come in and by them all up to resale on ebay! So, I wasn't holding my breath, but managed to get a really nice D&B for next spring. I'm not crazy about the signature/logo stuff all of over the bags (why I love the leather Zoe), so the D&B will be a new adventure, but at 40% off the clearance price, I'll give it a try!!

Thanks so much for posting this!! I've been waiting for the additional 40% off to stock up on my kids' clothes. Also found a lot of Dooney and Bourke handbags that were on sale. All the Coach had been purchased but there were still lots of really nice leather handbags left. Can't believe that I finally scored the giant Star Wars Kites!! Went on Thursday and knew they had about 2 dozen the previous week at 50% and none were left! The markdown team was surprised and one member even said that she was looking for them too and they should have been in the clearance isle. Went back today to return the FP Chalk Spray Painter (didn't work worth a hoot) and figured I'd take a look at the picked over stuff and right there on the shelf were about 7 remaining kites marked down to 75% off!!
