Glad you all were able to find the heads-up useful. It's my favorite sale. I bought way too many purses (although there were lots and lots of D&B and Coach - I wasn't there for those) and way too many pairs of shoes. I like to hit as many Dillards as I can. I'm sorry to take exception to this, but IMHO there are plenty reasons that they would/could be clearanced by season. Very often these change in color by season, fall, spring, winter, and also thickness etc. I don't even live in a cold place and I have seen it. I don't think there is anything wrong with asking the question understanding that many people like different things depending on the weather.

I bought a beautiful Donald Pliner that was 405 for 102.... great deals! Got shoes, socks, bras, all kinds of great deals to be had.. but there was such a mess I really had trouble focusing and getting shopping done. Oh and I got a beautiful jewelry box that was 248 for 62.

There deals only last for a specified time.. that's why they expire. It's a new deal over and over again.
