Black Friday t-shirt ideas/design/planning thread [merged]
stationchief replied to Brad's topic in 2012
Let's see... 2010 was blue, 2011 was black, how about red for this year? -
-
I predict that people will ban Walmart... for the upteenth year in a row Actually, according to my calculations it's tomorrow (August 15th). But you can always celebrate early
-
Still waiting for the new style 2012 GD t-shirt Brad promised me last year
-
Yup, that's the meaty part I tend to scrape
-
I just had a totally random debate about this with a friend of mine: When you write or type 'Black Friday', do you capitalize it or not? I say you need to capitalize. It's considered a day of the week, which is properly capitalized.

Well, um, I'm afraid that's one thing I can't help with cuz I don't have a clue. Never been there Maybe someone else from the Kansas area can chime in about that one. Or once the BF forums start up usually there's a thread about what BF weather is like around the country. I do know it's pretty windy, chilly (depends who ya ask), and dry in Phoenix, AZ. Don't think we've ever had a rainy BF.
-
And I'll bet ya still don't have a theme song yet! BigJim must have a theme song!
-
When is Brad opening up the forum? Sorry, but I need a lil more time
-
Got a feeling this thread is gonna blow up in two weeks

The Official "Let's Ban Walmart" Week?
-
With all the major chains that opened earlier last year I wouldn't be surprised if they started calling it Black Week. Or they might dare to call it Black Thanksgiving, since they all opened evening of turkey day.
-
Welcome, geddy! And welcome to all the excitement for Black Friday!
-
Anyone heard from Dev lately (BigJim from the BF webcasts)? Hope everything's ok and he returns for the BF forums grand opening.
-
Because chaos and anarchy are so much more fun! If we all got along and agreed on everything it'd be way too boring around here. Just ask anyone, I'm an expert on the subject Don't worry, the BF forums will open for business in the next few weeks or so (August-ish). All in all, on the outside I'm ecstatic about another BF almost upon us yet on the inside I'm groaning about another two months of all my free time gone with those @#$%! charts. Gotta do it for the shoppers
-
You must not know Brad that well. The more you people tell him to open up the forum early, the later he'll threaten to open it. I'm with Brad and say wait to open the BF ad deals forum til midnite on November 22nd

Welcome to all our newest members! Remember, only 8 more months til Black Friday 2012

Welcome to NORAD Tracks Santa You and your kids can track Santa Clause in Google Maps or Google Earth as he makes his rounds on his Christmas Eve journey across the globe. There's YouTube videos and Panoramio photos at each location that Santa visits to help educate the kids about each location. There's even some fun Christmas-themed games to play in the Countdown Village. Santa's current location: Dudinka, Russia. Next stop: Omsk, Russia.

Black Friday Comparison Charts - Tell Us What You Think!
stationchief replied to stationchief's topic in 2011
Or maybe a lil' bit of a bigger font for the instructions. They're so tiny people often miss it. Maybe if the detailed instructions were a clickable link that opened up in a pop-up window? -
Black Friday Comparison Charts - Tell Us What You Think!
stationchief replied to stationchief's topic in 2011
Thanx for all the input, folks! I'm taking all these ideas into consideration for next year. Since I'm a 'coding nerd' and not necessarily a 'multimedia guru' I'm not very good at designing something that's visually appealing. Therefore I need all the help I can get. Or maybe I'll just let one of Brad's fancy-schmancy web designers have a go at it Keep the ideas and comments coming! -
It's over. Yay! Wait, I mean... boo hoo?
