  1. Ok my son wants: Bayonetta (currently 29.96 at Walmart), God of War 3, (26.54) I don't buy him games often, so don't know prices really well, would any of you expect me to find either of these games significantly cheaper by BF or Xmas.... I hate waiting only to see a price go UP or go out of stock, opinions, and I know there is always the buy and u can return (but i try to choose carefully because by the time Christmas comes, I could be returning and rebuying 100 things, so I try to limit that scenario.) Thanks for any help
  2. Ok just thought I'd come back and leave some info incase anyone else is considering. I couldn't find alot of reviews on this camera--none on Amazon, none on Walmart, only on HSN. It is the same camera, I enlarged photo, looked at specs, etc, They had 155 reviews and only show a few per page, but paging through it seemed that there was about 20 reviews that were 2 stars or less. They said blurry pics, bad video and screen too touchy, as well as small battery compartment cover and share button didn't work all the time. Wow, I really wanted this deal for my son, but now I am afraid, so I'll pass. Haven't had a Kodak in years, just Nikon that I've liked.
  3. wow that was SO weird, I could look up other sites but not them. But thanks, I cleared cookies, & I'll be looking at reviews now :) if not on Wally then other sites, now that I have model no.
  4. Thank u for reply :) and EXACTLY, we have bought them at a restaurant and didn't give as a gift card, (I could see what the cards said in person) we'd use BOTH for us, as you do. Great deals, I prefer this to the restaurant.com deals where there are often so many rules, certain nights etc.. THANKS again!
  5. Ok, I googled Walmart, as well as trying link in OP... I'll clear cookies... and let u know thanks.
  6. Having major trouble getting walmart.com to come up... says "We're having temporary difficulties arriving at the destination you requested, but we'd like to offer steps to help you below. Suggested steps: • Click your browser's Back button to return to the previous page. • Click the button below to return to the Home Page. Continue Shopping on the Walmart.com Home Page" but whatever they suggest doesn't work. I wanted to read reviews, thought this might be good for my 17 yr old.. I HAVE NEVER had ANY TROUBLE accessing walmart.com ...
  7. What is the new Nintendo console? a re-vamped wii or ??? thanks
  8. Not trying to seem dumb but I've rarely ever purchased giftcards with special offers, does the card normally happen to say on it "get a free_____ with a ___ gift card purchase" ?? In other words, I don't want the recipient to necessarily know that fact. I thought it was possibly pictured that way on the site for advertising purpose, but wanted to hear your thoughts on it?
  9. Me neither--but I could have sworn there was a FREE SHIPPING Day in the past year, however, I believe it was ONLY on items on air...but I could be mistaken. Of course the thing I wanted on Free Shipping wasn't free, LOL. I believe their shipping went up, also. There are some things they sell that ARE worth it. For instance I bought some flameless candles, real wax, (and they HAVE a timer, which many in stores do not)From Sams Club, nice enough, wanted to sit them out for the holidays on a shelf. $aved a great deal from what QVC would charge --HOWEVER--the batteries were exhausted in 2 weeks and I only had them on 5 hr a day.. I've had QVC's Candle Impressions & my batteries in them lasted for months. I LOVE candlelight and cannot have real candles with my special needs child, who could set my home a blaze.. So the Shipping and higher price is worth it to me on certain stuff, just saying :)
  10. RATS, I just came from there, didn't see this thread before I left
  11. ok embarrassed, I was multi tasking and 1/2 thinking of something else, YES I did ask about ELECTRIC, so not going ON the STOVE...LOL.... I am thinking I may not want one after all-- I checked reviews on many kinds off Walmart site, Amazon, QVC, and so many have mixed reviews, they'll have really great review and then there will be some reviews from people who said they had them 3 mos. or 6 mos. and they either stopped working---or they LEAK, or the valve goes... Perhaps more trouble than they are worth? I mean 70 + is alot (to me) to spend on something that could end up only working well for 6mos-a year...and then either die or need parts replaced. Any additional comments on that? My husband gets home diff. times/work schedule can change daily and to be able to do a fresh meal really good, like roast, veggies etc in less than an hour sounded really appealing.....instead of microwaving or left overs n' at.....
  12. Just saw that one about 1/2 hr ago
  13. I wish I had fun neighbors like this (seriously) I was putting stuff out around Veterans Day last year and I got a dirty look and head shake from someone . .. . scrooges...
  14. Oh my!! Thank goodness I started this thread. Looks like I am not getting a pressure cooker--thanks.
  15. I enjoy the planning :) and then dragging it all in the house, spreading it out (almost like halloween candy), extremely satisfied that we got everything/most everything we went for.
  16. WOW that's unique, don't think I've ever heard of that before. . . Were the holiday decorations inside OR out, or BOTH? I have wanted to dress my son up as a Xmas tree or Santa before, but my husband said NO WAY... they are two costumes you rarely see. I saw a TRU book commercial & a layaway commercial, but no other xmas commercials...
  17. Awesome can't wait to go.shopping this.week
  18. I have vowed when bringing stuff down THIS SEASON, 2011, to CLEAN out things I haven't used in last 2 years, and don't think I'll use in the next 2....because I just have too much. My mom gave me alot of stuff, and most of it I like, but I have bought a ton over the last decade. I tried to control myself, but I don't. Thing is 1-if my house were larger I wouldn't have to clear it out--can't move up our attic at all! and 2-if our house were larger, I'd likely have 5 or more trees set up and then most of the decorations WOULD BE used.. I just like too many themes/things. I like: 1 real "SHINY" type ornaments/expensive look, 2-plaid ribbons, pinecones/instruments, balls.., 3- a mix of ornaments/homemade and handed down from generations, 4-our favorite sports team decorated tree, 5-I really like gingerbread/candy cane type theme, and 6-SNOWMEN, PENGUINS/ icicles, etc.. 7-also snowflakes/nature type. I buy so many types of items and change it from year to year, but seems I always end up using a few things from a previous year and so everything has to come down the attic stairs and it takes too long. I really should categorize it all, but I just don't know if I can do that on my own...think I may go bonkers.. Anyone else this undecided/crazy for changing their tree every year?? it drives DH crazy as he never knows what boxes to bring down...
  19. Any of you use electric pressure cookers on a regular basis Do your children like how the meals taste? I was thinking of getting one, but wanted to hear some opinions first. Also, if we have a family of four, what size do I want? Appreciate any suggestions. Thanks,
  20. Thanks I know what u mean. Why make something like this? Many/most people who need a humidifier have asthma/llergies/other issues, so how would it be good to have to clean mold out of this? ?
  21. My house is very dry, we have a humidifier supposedly "built in" to the heating system, well I feel no moisture ever, and it's been checked and is "working fine"... anyway I need some suggestions from you for an affordable humidifier, that doesn't need cleaned daily, doesn't collect MOLD, etc. Need to keep the price approx 50 dollar/less, but buy one that does the job--even if it's smaller/work for smaller areas, I could maybe do two 30 dollar ones for different rooms and move around my house. I can't afford 100 dollars for some big one/nor do I want it sitting around. There are so many on the market, I don't know where to begin. I'd like to hear from someone who has one that has really helped their breathing/air quality. thanks to anyone who can help on this :)
  22. I can say for sure I never see my husband have as much energy/fun as he does when he is going for the BF bargins and gets nearly every ONE of them! Adrenaline!! He goes VERY far on such little sleep-- one day a year, anyway LMAO!
  23. I agree, don't need extra bodies in the way that just wanna "hang out" and I too WANT TO GET INTO THE STORE, BUY STUFF & FLY out! I am 90 % in favor of NO midnight openings....
  24. starbeck and elmck, I think we all have the disease! I knocked myself out cleaning our big toy closet in gameroom yesterday and took toys we no longer play with to the thrift store. I was running around like a maniac! You would have thought it was a race on a gameshow! But I had fun! It looks good and I need to work on more parts in the house, but woke up with a bad headache today, so I took a pill and a long nap. I did drink some MONSTER though, and I plan to make up for tonight, what I didn't accomplish today! Nothing feels as gratifying as the toy closet though, I just love to see all the games/blocks, etc all lined up and neat like on store shelves, ha ha! I had my son bring down 4 boxes of Xmas stuff from the attic that I plan to go thru and decide what I'll use this year...so I am READY when it is time. Happy cleaning everyone!
