I agree and this is the worst service I have ever gotten anywhere, ever. I told them to cancel the items that were holding my order up and I still have not got any socks in my hands!! I think that one lady is the only one manning the phones, Her name (she says) is Erica and I have gotten her every time. She assured me it would be mailed out Thursday a.m. And I "second" your first as well as your second points! PREPARE FOR IT. What idiots, I wonder if the few people who got their orders only ordered 1 or 2 things. My order is for about 26 dollars. Way to go No Nonsense, screw the people who order MORE from your company, smart thinking!

Is there maybe a performance you'd like to go to ? A hockey game, a concert? a broadway show that tix are not yet on sale for? You could ask her to please order them (2?) for you when they are on sale... if it is more than 75 then tell her you'll pay the rest back to her. . . I like dealluvr idea about the movies and I have done something like this for people who say they don't want anything: I have bought cards for places that are on their route to work...maybe you would like that --> a 10 dollar gift card to Walgreens, 10 dollars for MCDONALDS, 10 for dunkin donuts, 10 for Borders, and so on... so that for several weeks (however they choose to space them out) they can stop by and not have to pull out cash. They can pick up a coffee at DD on a rainy a.m. when they had no time to get a cup at home, or use the walgreen's card to run on lunch and get new pantyhose they just snagged.... and it is great to not have the extra (coins) change jingling in your pockets. .

I think you got lucky, but I KNOW Best Buy did it for me, several years ago, maybe about 5, on a tv. :)

worktomuch, are you canceling then? I wanted the socks, for that price, but your info doesn't sound very optimistic, she did not go thru all my items, just said the mens crews were not in.. I just don't see why they don't mail the others out and then mail the crews later. . . I don't know what to do. My kids eat socks...

I still haven't heard a word--except for the email that gave me a coupon for my next order (hello??) SO I just called. Took me awhile to get thru. She was apologetic, said it was the MENS CREW socks that were holding up the order and I said well I wouldn't have a problem with that but that the COMPANY needs to send an email out to tell the customers that. I said I NEVER got order confirmation, never got a reply to my email where I complained and asked for a response, never got a sorry for the delay email, but got the email where they want to give me coupon on my next order! I said you need to improve your account information page, so that it is updated, I said she wouldn't be getting 100's of calls if people could just read on their account history page "order delayed due to backorder on men's crews. . . She told me I was right (I am...) and also said she could cancel my order and credit me. I told her NO we NEED these socks. I have premium cable and so I watch alot of holiday movies on there.

Not so much the pricematching issue, as I can sympathize with the particular situation. 1- the Despicable Me movie is too much $$ no "great" coupon for it, and price is high for the bonus editions.....and walmart.com is sold out of it online so even if I (she) was aware of that policy she couldn't get it cheap way and 2- my KFC are jerks, they will never substitute anything EVER, but if they are out of something they want to substitute something for that item, and they don't even tell me. It has happened at least 5 times, I ask for bucket of extra crispy and then place order, I have pulled up and looked, and found just original... and I went back angry and they said, oh sorry, didn't think it'd matter Hello, What???? And they do that substitution like OP mentioned, but if I asked for 2 THIGHS, it'd be SORRY Miss, NO SUBSTITUTIONS... I never go there anymore, I don't even like KFC, my kids/relatives do... That's all I got :)

Mostly XBOX. and I did see a Fossil fighters that I had never heard of (until viewing previous poster) Men's HENLEY's many colors were on clearance from I believe originally 12.99, down to 6.48, but they are VERY thin, however suited my kids needs as they will wear under their favorite sports team jerseys.

Anyone know where I can get some inexpensive speakers for a Zen ? Under 15 dollars? I don't expect them to sound like a BOSE, but don't want them to sound bad. Any gottadealers own any? All I ever see is little boombox looking things or small speakers that have an i before them, ihome, i-whatever all for IPODS. Appreciate any help. How about Best buy. Do they Pricematch? They have camera I want. It is cheaper at Walmart and Amazon, by 10 dollars I'd rather order from Amazon and save tax BUT I have a GIFT CARD at BB that I wanted to use.

Ok she insisted I got an order confirmation (not!) Told her I checked spam folder and searched my emails by keyword "socks" and "no nonsense" (google mail). Seemed a little irritated...maybe 8 or 10 thousand others are calling her wanting to know where their order is because they didn't get any confirmation either.... She said that her company normally gets 2,000 orders a week and that particular week they got 10,000 orders. (I guess that shows the power of gottadeal, huh?)
