  1. I am not impressed.......and unless they made a TYPO on price, the 3 count candy cane or christmas tree pathway lights priced at 24.97 on page 15, are that very same price NOW, internet and in the store, I was there yesterday-- so that isn't even a sale price let alone, a BF price! I was always jealous because Lowe's had BF deals I wanted but I didn't get them because the store was further away and by time I'd get there, deals would be gone...........now that there is one close to me, they have nothing I want...
  2. Thank you for the ad, Brad. I am very underwhelmed by it though....
  3. I for one would NOT want to be working at WM on BF, neither would I want to be a customer standing in the Layaway line. I think most associates should get a pat on the back for doing this job, it has to be very tiresome and with little praise. It will help ALOT of people to have layaway, so they are helping alot of people afford presents (and also hide them for awhile). I won't be using it at all. If some people need to get things at the lowest absolute price, and they need to do it on layaway they will either hang out, or have a buddy come relieve them. THanks for the news, I'll pass the info on to my friends I know use layaway :)
  4. Thank you for your input, I had a feeling it'd be too good to be true. Husband won't buy a big generator, but if I had something small, just for like tv and such, like I said, if the power goes out at 5 p.m. in our area, SON doesn't go to sleep until 930, that is a looong time for him to do nothing...not like I could take him to a store (if I'd even need anything)... just wanted a simple solution, but I guess it isn't
  5. This ad has nothing i want
  6. ooooooooooo thanks 11:00 AM PST Designed with entertainment in mind I'm intrigued...
  7. I too am confused about this--and would like forum moderator(s) opinion on this. I am not wasting my time calling the store(s) in my area because they'll say one thing on the phone, another thing in person--and lie right in your face--IF you can find the same person that you talked to 3 days ago.. and none of what they say is in WRITING--I want something in my hands, that I know is correct, if I am gonna try to PM on BF, not get there and totally screw up my BF plans. Patty, Brad, any mods help with this, please?
  8. I want this size too, but don't know if BB will be our first stop yet, wondering if I could get online, I know things disappear in 3 minutes onine....ugh, this is the only one bigger than 19 inch and smaller than 32 that's a SUPER Price... does anyone have that brand, opinions?
  9. Thanks magickallight, I'll see if I can talk the DH into going...
  10. BigJim, riven3d (above) writes that BF sales are considered a timed event, is that accurate? I have not had trouble in the past getting PM/PA at Target on BF, but people seem very iffy about it this year. . . If we have that store policy print out, we should be walking out of the store we ask for the adjustment at, correct? And if they refuse? What's your advice? Blow my top? or ???
  11. I ordered the leopard one... :)
  12. I really really really HATE when they do that, I know all about "progress" but I hate the shelf life of systems being so short nowadays. WE have wii and have about 30 games for it and recently I have sold 2 or 3 and will probably sell 3 or 5 more... out of the 30 games they seem to regularly play about 7--that is it! It is a shame because I find it easy to use especially for someone much older, and also for the younger kids/kids with disabilities. We are getting a kinect/xbox this yr...in hopes of newer funner games--so If i were you I'd get the xbox/one of the xbox deals. And I definitely think (from what I've heard/read) that the dance games are more fun, more challenging on the xbox kinect. But I /we have not tried any of them personally.
  13. trying to upload a pic of mine, but can't get it on here.. rats...
  14. Some of description on QVC says: With curved edges, this iron helps you easily achieve a multitude of glamorous styles--it can straighten and smooth; create curls, waves, and flips; and add beautiful volume. The included metallic thermal pouch serves as a storage bag, counter protector, and stylish clutch. A set of three professional hair styling clips make sectioning and styling hair easy. Who is it for: Anyone looking to achieve smooth, shiny, amazing hair, right at home. This iron is perfect for all hair types--thin, medium, thick, or coarse. Why is it different: A digital temperature control allows you to easily set the correct temperature for straight hair in one pass based on your hair type--lower heat settings for fine hair; higher heat settings for thick hair. The iron keeps a consistent temperature with a 15-second recovery time for added ease of use. And, it's incredibly durable. In a clinical study comparing CHI Smart titanium plates to another popular styling iron that uses ceramic plates, the CHI Smart titanium plates were found to be more scratch-resistant and durable. So it seems most other Chi's don't have temperature controls-- but the part about the curved edges? I'd think they'd all have that to protect hair...so why point that out?
  15. LOL I just sent you a PM asking for advice...so you love/like the CHI ?
  16. FANTASTIC Marcster, thank you!!
  17. i DON'T think you are that uncoordinated, I've read comments online that people have trouble using the instyler, that it is easier to have someone else use it on you--we that's not an option for me...LOLThe one they show is free s & H and it is supposed to be one that gives your more volume and has ceramic and titanium I believe. I'd have until Jan 31st to return. I need my hair straight but I need a little volume underneath (not the poker straight look) So far --with this cut, I have bought 2 flat irons, one brand I can't recall--it didn't work well at all, returned it and now I am using some 35 dollar Revlon one, results ok...but could be alot better. Thanks for your advice CHI -1, Instyler -0
  18. QVC has a killer deal on a volumizing CHI, supposedly would be around 200.oo if you bought elsewhere (if you could, but only this model at QVC) ? Please give me your opinions. I need volume and have an inverted bob. Thanks Hurry please, it is a TSV on QVC The normal price for instyler on QVC is around 100.oo so the price really isn't a factor.
  19. I Second her questions! Hope someone answers these.. (thanks for mentioning the rubbermaid containers, have you already checked to see if Target has exact ones/pretty sure they do?) That game would be an AMAZING deal if we could get it for that price AND the Target GC!!!
  20. Been looking at these POWER STATION/emergency type/jump starter items online/on tv for awhile now... do any of you OWN one, need to use it? Not many of them get good reviews I have a child with autism, when the lights go out it is misery for us. REAL candles are a no no, we have flameless but no fun reading by those. I want something to be able to plug a lamp into and maybe a small tv, even be able to charge the ipod touch back up because depending how long the power is out, the charge can go down very fast playing games on it. Also I like the feature of being able to jumpstart my car if needed--easily, not asking for help... I don't even know the "life" of one of these systems? Thought maybe the gottadeal guys would know if they are all really considered junk, or worth it. thanks
  21. woo hoo ! good find :0) thanks
  22. I FEEL THE SAME WAY, it is really pretty ugly...
  23. Would you mind telling me what city--general part of Pennsylvania that was in? I am in Southwestern, PA and wondered if this occurred near me.
