About buying them Wednesday, I did that ONE year, and was fine, got just about every single thing, and then got it adjusted, but the following year, on Wednesday, I couldn't find 1/2 the stuff, and not ANY of the DVD/DVD sets--so I think they got wise............so the THIRD year, I went in MONDAY and got what I wanted... sometimes ya just gotta be one step ahead of 'em -
Black Friday Comparison Charts - Tell Us What You Think!
allshoppedout replied to stationchief's topic in 2011
I too, truly appreciate these charts!! thanks to everyone who worked hours on them/posted them/went thru a bottle of Visine to complete them! Amazing job! -
I think that'll look nice. Are they the kind that blink/chase? And if they are the kind that have a blinking or chasing option that'd be nice. By the way-- only found 1 kind of LED that has mult-function or ANY function and that was at Garden Ridge...

Online Ordering for Black Friday - Have questions? Read this thread first!
allshoppedout replied to Brad's topic in 2011
1- Is it possible to EASILY order the online specials using a SMARTPHONE? It is the first year of me having one, and I just know how the online thing can go, with the wait, wait, wait/sold out, or websites crashing scenario, wondering if maybe I should simultaneously try to check on pc and smartphone for deals?? 2-And if I do use the phone, is there apps or something that make it easier? THANKS for DOING THIS EVERY YEAR! -
Need advice on Men's electric razor
allshoppedout replied to allshoppedout's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
Just updating--on Wednesday I went to Walmart and bought the Norelco 7310 for 27.97-- and in the days following have seen it in 2, black friday ads posted on Gottadeal, the cheapest deal being 26.97, well I only paid a dollar more, so I think I'll keep mine. So if anyone wanted that model, just go to Walmart NOW and buy it. ALso it is advertised in THE CURRENT Sunday ad for Walgreens and it is MORE, I think 34 or 35 dollars. I know there is a model up 7340 that's sale priced at 34.97 but I like the reviews for the one I decided on, plus it is 7 dollars less. Since it is his first razor, I wanted to keep the cost down, but soooooooooooo many have awful reviews, even more expensive ones, that it is a difficult choice to make. thanks everyone. -
I am trying to find SUAVE Holiday Body washes! I "missed" them last year, although I began asking about them after Halloween, everyone looked at me like I was crazy at FIRST, then as it got closer to holidays they'd say I missed them...to which I replied, I've been looking all through your store since Halloween and I don't know how I missed them. I continued to ask until the 2 week of dec. and just gave up. So this year, I began asking the SECOND week of October, and am STILL asking. I've been to Walgreens, Target and Walmart (in the past I've only seen them at Targets and Walmarts I've been to). and NOTHING so far, everyone telling me I am asking too early. the Suave website said nothing about them.... I googled tonight and found someone wrote on a blog that she found them in AUGUST, and on another site, someone found some in September! Am I out of luck, if ANYONE finds them ANYWHERE can u please tell me what store Name and where in the store. ?? THEY HAVE SCENTS LIKE TOASTED VANILLA SUGAR (MY FAVE), PEPPERMINT BLISS, HOLIDAY PEAR AND CANDY APPLE. These body washes are cheaper than BBW and I like them just as well.

Hello all My name is Illinois mom and I am addicted to Christmas
allshoppedout replied to Illinoismom's topic in 2011
Please don't throw anything ladies, but until this thread/the photo, I had never heard of a tart warmer... -
Yesterday morning I Took all the stuff to a nearby nursing home! They weren't picky, but very very grateful. I know they'll have a REALLY nice tree. Thanks for your help !

It is so weird, there are THIN towel people and THICK towel people:2roller:Me and a friend joke about this all the time. SHE likes thick, her husband thin, and me and my husband are opposite. When I dry off with one of the super plush thick kind, I feel like I am drying off with my bed comforter! and I don't want to wear the towel I only dry off with it, never wrap it around me--I get into my clothes quickly (except to wear on my head and then if they are thick and heavy they are not comfy, LOL) I guess the ladies grabbing at the Wally towels are the thin-towel chicks like me!

to have less clutter? or exactly why are they doing that? So you mean if I now buy a pre-owned game from them it will be case-less?
-
I don't want nuthin here!

Just wanted to add I went to another target and they had 3 trees that were 50! and one that was 85! TARGET! I was surprised, some with lights! ANd next weeks Big Lots has more trees price 49, 60 and around 100.oo price, you can definitely DO a nice tree, you better get started!

I am TIRED of being PATIENT, really Target, give it up
-
He does but I thought the ad was INcomplete from the start. I mean Walmart is usually known for offering a large variety of things. . . Where are the razors/hairdryers/beauty sets? (If they are there I missed them please correct me) How about PJ's Coats? Aren't there usually snacks/candy/nuts advertised? (Or am I thinking of another store??) and then as I mentioned hours ago, not only are there no nintendo ds' deals, but the games are not even advertised... I can't be fooled that easily Wally.....

Official "Is it me or are the ads disappointing so far?" thread ;)
allshoppedout replied to Tigger97498's topic in 2011
I am in the majority too, not really excited by anything, yet. We usually spend most time/money at Target, Walmart, Best Buy, and Kohl's (in that order). I am not loving anything at Kohl's...Walmart a few things at this point...BB just listed a preview, meh, rest of ad needs to be way better than the preview... I am gonna need a pitcher of margaritas to get me excited enough to spend some money at this rate... -
I agree with that too, and you know you could download digital copies of movies you have from dvd for example and then toss the movie if you want, 250 can hold alot of things and eliminate some clutter. it is for my son, and I didn't want to invest alot, I can't be sure how well he'll take care of it... Ideally I'd like to spend about 90 dollars at most including tax...if I had Some reviews to go buy it'd be nice, but most of the Kodak's I read about aren't too swell and since you feel this one is likely made just for BF/virtually "unsearchable" I doubt if I'll take the chance. I tried looking at the fine print in the Walmart add and couldn't find IS listed on it either. I am glad your replied you gave me advice on camera buying last year and I like my canon. I want to stick to Nikon, Canon or Sony but not seeing many camera deals in ads... I saw the one at Costco, but am trying to convince my buddy who is a member to go there to get it for me (she's not sure she is stopping there yet).

Thanks, everyone I may try one more goodwill that is a little further away. . . I really wanted to open the car door and easily drop them off ...not to sound rude, but I have much to do and little help. The tree is quite large (7 or 71/2, have to check the box) so not sure that is good size for all.... if 2nd Goodwill doesn't want them then I may call a church nearby to see if they have a family that'd want the stuff.

Can anyone help with the KODAK camera deal? I am thinking the model number is just a special BF one, it says C1450 and I could not find that easyshare Kodak model for a 14 mp camera or anything similar enough (going by the photo they show/the printing on camera front & the 3 colors it comes in. CAN ANYONE help, I can't even tell if it is a SUPER deal or an "ok" one, it is 49 dollar, but if it is only a 69 dollar camera, I don't think its super...

You're welcome, it gets really frustrating when you are trying to save every dollar you can and STILL get what the kids want and then you see you could've potentially save20, 30, 40 bucks. I got essentially the same deal you did, but I got it at Best Buy and I am keeping mine as well. :) happy shopping
