:) hi - I think it stated that the guarantee excludes BF sales p.s. didn't Keith look hot last night?

I want to donate some ornaments/signs for yard/assorted ceramic/decorative items that are in good to very good condition--and probably at least 1 tree. Can you tell me who will take these items? I asked Goodwill and they said "NO" and come to think of it, all I ever recall seeing in a goodwill, is like some Christmas wreaths and maybe some dishes...nothing more. I don't wanna go far to do this but DH won't let me throw it out (he is home on trash day) and no one I know wants it...........I don't want to try to sell or give over Craigs or that, not interested in taking time to meet someone, intercept emails, just want it gone. Any ideas?

Yep and that has never worked out for me, I am never home when the come with the package....

Well do you feel that the 2 games that Walmart's bundle has are worth it? I mean if you see your kids enjoying them, it may be the better route... I always consider a few things: 1-time and aggravation spent 2-will my kids like the "cheapest" deal best? 3-tax vs. no tax If you get Call of Duty & Spiderman games.. and you have a girl who wants to dance then not a good deal, unless you are CERTAIN that you have someone you'd want to gift them to... ALso, we never know how many bundles they'll have...so the cheapest deal isn't "guaranteed"

See, I can't remember that at all-- I remember things we buy, but not the details, not the time, or how many stores we hit. It is like my brain has held it together with coupons and ad matching/waiting in line, etc, so when the mission is accomplished, I forget alot do you remember anything that was on secret sale? jog my memory?

Interesting way of putting it :) but I feel the same. I actually hate eggs, I think they are only good for holding cookies or cake together...LOL but to each, his own....
-
And maybe DaFees they'll be some Nintendo DS games in that "secret" ad, *wishing*. Not only were there no DS of any kind, but there were no games... somethings up

Now that Walmart is out I saw a 3 month LIVE membership card for 12 dollars.... could you buy 4 of those and use them that way? and is 48 dollars good for a membership? thanks

Definitely a possibility. . . I wonder if they'll come out (day or two before BF) with a small ad for a secret sale for items around 3 or 4 a.m. to try to keep everyone at Walmart allll night.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2011
allshoppedout replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
She doesn't need to check the tape for what YOU did, she/staff need to go back a week or more and check who is switching and taking things throughout the season! I have found many times at Target & Kmart in the last 6 months, that things are missing from sets and that they are switched! A 3T shirt with a 2T pants! I don't think they care any more!! I remember in the past cashiers would look at the top and bottom, when for instance they'd take the hanger off a set that had both items attached.. I realize on costumes that is not done, but you know... -
Thank you both for suggestions, I don't have anything very valuable for a trade in...like a system, was just hoping for I don't know 20 bucks, I didn't know BB did that, Guess we'll have to stop there. Like I said these are not highly sought after games like COD or that... but if I can have 20 extra bucks credit, and an extra 6-8 slots cleared out on the shelf for new Xmas ones then it'd be great..

Can anyone tell me if I should take in some used games to GAMESTOP now? or is there a better time? These games are NOT any kind of super popular or 60 dollar games that'd get me some really good offer, but I'd like to get as much as I can for them. Is there a better time to trade them in? Don't they want to have some stockpiled for the big BF sale they have on pre-owned games? Please help.

DH went to an out of the way store hoping to score SOMEthing... he found nothing other than 2 boxes of the L.Ashley tissues, so he got them :) no fruit roll ups, no fritos, etc...but I am amazed he found something LOL.... -
Oh No BigJim, it is dated 11/10- 11/14 and the tree is pictured on page 16 but I'd bet my life it is the very same 88 dollar tree from the BF scan, just thought people could get a look at it ahead of time if they wondered which one it was because BF ads don't usually tell you original price, so you don't always know if you are getting a stellar deal, unless you do alot of Homework.

I just saw this one tonight and really love it, it is animated and by: Macy's to benefit Make-A-Wish Never saw it before, but you can take your letters to Santa to mailbox at macy's

I just got a Lowe's ad in the mail today. : It shows a 6 foot 6 inch 88 dollar Christmas tree that I am pretty sure is the one that will be 48 dollars on BF, just saying if anyone wanted to go to store to check it out if they were thinking of it. The picture on the BF scan and the picture in my store ad look alike. BTW 88 is regular price, not a sale or anything.

This is off topic but I absolutely LOVE your avatar, if that's your baby's hand, what an amazing pic. LOVE it. On topic, I think my husband is going to like the 10/12 schedule, he hates falling asleep for 1-2 hr. turkey night and waking up zombie like... -
Need advice on Men's electric razor
allshoppedout replied to allshoppedout's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
noooo I knew one of you was going to say that. I just can't spend that much, and he is a little clumsy, I'd really be in a rage if he dropped/broke a 100.00 one...but thanks for your input -
Need advice on Men's electric razor
allshoppedout replied to allshoppedout's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
well I have been doing alot of online reading and a few stops in the stores looking at these mens shavers/razors and boy am I disgusted. It seems I can find a few in the 25-40 dollar price range however they charge approx 25-30 dollars for the replacement heads, and I had decided I would buy a set of rep.heads when I got it so it wouldn't be an issue finding them in the near future. Apparently these companies would prefer you just pollute the planet some more and buy another razor?? I mean do I want replacement heads for 29 dollars or a whole new razor for about 35? How crazy ridiculous. This is my son's first electric and I wanted it to be decent but not be too upset if he dropped and broke it. Would love some advice please. -

I've done this a few times, it was FUN....even embarrassed a few guys in the family using some female oriented type boxes to put gifts in... and a sweater in a blender box to a lady who doesn't cook, look on her face was great, she pretended she liked it for a minute... on the ECO side, I am recycling boxes

Love it! You are very creative! I too hate the tree to look empty underneath :)
