**Normally I would be after the candy, crayola, pixos, stickers, hotwheels and other little toys and/or projects that I can have for kids to play with when we go out or when they go to their grandparents house. The thing is, our kids are still young 3 and 1 so I'm not too concerned about the themes yet. Like I just bought a bunch of these crayola project boxes that included V-Day cards and crayons to fill them in. I'm planning to have one of these on hand next time we're out to keep the kids busy in the car or whatever... DD already saw these and wanted to open them up and draw on them and she could care less that they were V-Day and she surely didn't ask me why they had hearts on them or said Happy V-Day :). But honestly, I've bought so much V-Day stuff: stickers, pixos, crayola, candy and whatever else that there's no way I will need any of that restocked by the time Easter comes but I still can't help but being curious. (Though I still need stuff for DD B-day for the boys goodie bags before July hence I'm sad I couldn't get the Hot Wheels.) Also I might not buy things when they hit 75% but you can't beat Holiday stuff going 90%!!! (BTW I went to Big Lots today since they had 20% coupon and OMG they are still selling Christmas themed zip lock bags and other kitchen goodies.)

Used the coupon Tonight to buy the canvas book shelf for kids (ABC one) (almost didn't get it as I couldn't find one and neither could the employee but I was determined to find it so I finally did!) and hubby got 3 heavy duty shelves for the basement. He's been eyeing these for a while at Amazon but didn't want to pay $60 dollars for one. Instead he got these for $40 minus 20% coupon. Awesome deal!!! Now, about how often do these coupons come out and are they always for 20%? (We might want to buy a few more of these shelves) Thanks!

So I got the shelf tonight at Big Lots so hopefully it will work for us!! They had two shelves on display, the one with Safari and a similar one with Alphabet letters but I couldn't find a closed box. I even asked a person who worked there and after glancing at that section he told me they were all out but I was determined to find it and sure enough I eventually found one last box. Unfortunately they didn't have the Safari one but I think the Alphabet one should be just as good.

Aftet following this thread since after Christmas and going to 4 diff. Targets a few times a week I'm finally getting used to how everything works and can now easily spot the clearance and get some VERY GOOD DEALS!!! I really think it takes this long to get anywhere with this whole Perimeter Perusing Good Deals getting business. But my hubby has been shopping at Target for yrs. and have always said that's hands-down his fav. store over Walmart (he thinks Wally is all about hype and having a couple of things very cheap when the rest of it is very expensive and that's how they get you...) (The funny things is though, he never knew Target ever puts anything on clearance (I'll repeat he's shopped there for yrs. :)) Also when I come back with all of these good deals now he usually asks me why didn't I get more of this or that thing or sometimes he tells me we don't need something and not to buy it but then a few days later asks me if I can go get that thing.. Well, I usually start by telling him: "You know, that place where I shop, where everything is 75% all of the time just ran out of that particular thing :)"

Thanks!! I've been seeing some Easter-themed stuff around the store but are they going to have all of these Easter cars, candy, etc. in these same isles after V-Day stuff is gone?? Is it still a while before they bring that stuff out? (when is Easter in anyway? Sorry for the silly question but we don't celebrate it, so I only have a general idea) Anyone know if Walmart also has these V-Day themed toys?

I'm going to go check it out but I wasn't sure if they will have one at my store so I thought I'd see if anyone knows of any other deals. I did see it before Christmas or on BF when they were running a promotion but I didn't LOVE it so I didn't buy it. I think it cost more then though..

There's a clearance furniture item that was a part of BF or Christmas count down sale (can't remember which one) that I want but what are the chances that they still have it at the store?? (it is in the clearance section on the website) Should I call the stores around me and ask by SKU#? (only shopped at the store twice before so don't really know how it all works. I find it kind of confusing when compared to other stores)

Yep, crayola stuff was only 75% at both Targets I went. I even checked with the cashier and she checked with someone else and they both said V-Day stuff goes automatically so these were not a part of V-Day (that was for Color Wonder and Explosions and crayons) The packaging for these was never Valentines to begin with and most of it was in the regular isle so I was wondering all along how was that a part of V-Day?? (Maybe the stores were just putting it in with V-Day stuff so they can sell it..) BTW: Thank You for mentioning those Crayola backpacks because I found a bunch Tonight at 75%. These are very cute! If anyone wants these look in the crayola isle, across from Color Wonder on one of those shelves. Each Target had 3 of these and there was no clearance sign and there's no price tag or clearance tag on these so you have no idea how much they are unless you scan. (I got all 3 at 1 Target. I was debating whether I needed that many but then I scanned an 8 pk. of washable markers and that came up $20 cents more than the whole backpack so I decided I couldn't pass it up. This deal was the only reason hubby and I went to TGIFridays last Friday night (1st time for us) so maybe they are trying to widen their customer base... (I know they build a new one on the main road close to us a couple years back so prob. they are not doing too bad.) The one we went to was packed and we even had to wait 10 min. to get in (which I thought was a very short wait for a Friday night 7 p.m. but the restaurant was HUGE so that's prob. why) The food was ok. I ordered salmon and it was horrible (dry like a shoe) but hubby's chicken with cheesy mashed potatoes was awesome. We got appetizers too so we just ended up sharing the chicken (fish ended up being free - with a coupon.) It's not a fancy restaurant by any means (like an upgrade to Friendly's) but with economy the way that it is I think they have a good chance of staying in business over the fancier ones. We also had some guy come back to our table to hand us over the coupon. I did think it was strange (esp. since it wasn't our waiter) but it was refreshing to see a business honor their coupons and not look at you like you stole something from them just because you're using a coupon..imho

Can someone please describe the LPS shop, My Little Pony and HotWheels that are lart of V-Day?? Like what kind of figures they were, color and how many in one pkg. I've seeing pixos and the other things in regular Toy isle so I know there must be some of these as well but if I knew what I was looking for that would be great! Thanks

I'm soo happy with Target tonight!! So I ended up returning that Spider Man 6-volt ride-on that I bought at $50 (after the "nice" employee assured me it was 75% price when in fact it was only discounted 30%) That was on Wed. Now I happened to be back at that Target tonight with hubby (it is 17 miles away from our house but we were going to the Mall) and I just had to check the shelf with the ride-ons to see what they did with this thing. Well, they put it back on the shelf and put a piece of paper on it with $17.xx price (75%) So I was happy to buy it again - now that it trully was 75% off!!! So it might be worth checking out if anyone's interested.) If anyone is interested I can look up the DCPI (the receipt is somewhere upstairs right now.) Also for the person who said the Books went 75% - THANK YOU!!! I was able to get that Lions King book (for the Tag like system we have) and a Tinkerbell sounds book and 2 Barbies books with stickers and papper dolls with papper clothes! (It's weird that I've checked 2 Targets on Thu. around 1 p.m. and all those were still 50%. Not sure what happened there.) Also got some hand towels for kids (white with froggies and duckies - 75%) to match the bathroom tub curtain and hooks that I got them earlier in the week so their bathroom is all set. Hubby got some car wax stuff 75% too. There were still a bunch of bottles and diff. products left. Seems like no one knows this area has been discounted. I saw a bunch of Color Wonder sets in the regular isle too so might try to get some of these at 90%.

So we went Tonight and had a good time so Thank You OP!!! The restaurant was actually quite nice (surprisingly huge!!!) They took our coupon no problems. The only unfortunate thing was I ordered salmon with rice as my main meal and it was horrible. (It was sooo overcooked - never had it so bad) We ended up sharing hubby's chicken with cheesie mashed potatoes (which was awesome!!) so I guess the horrible salmon ended up being free so that was ok :) The appetizers were good and the drinks were good so we had a good time!

**Yep that was me. Thank You! I will have to take another look if I manage to drag hubby to Target on our way to a restaurant (grandparents take kids on Fridays.) I checked at 2 Targets last night and they were still ringing 50% though. There was also a Lion King book (From that other system that's like Tag but the books are bigger and sturdier. DD got if for Christmas from relatives and I would love to get her this book since we only have Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella that came with it)

Anyone has a picture they can post of the Hotwheels, Little Ponny and LPS that were part of Valentines clearance?? I keep trying to find these in the regular isle but I really don't know what I'm looking for.. (Actually I did see 2 pkg. of LPS that I stupidly took out of my cart because I thought for $1.50 or $2 that was the regular price and they were just misplaced in with V-Day stuff.. I did the same with Color Wonder (though I found a lot more at other Targets now) I guess I really didn't realize how expensive all of these things are) (and now I can't remember what these LPS looked like - I think there were two figures in a box?)

**What were the Thomas toys?? Because we had ours go a couple of weeks ago so I'm wondering if you're talking about the same thing? (I haven't seen any additional Thomas clearance stuff at any of the Target's here either) We had pkg. of 2 or 3 take along ones (one was blue Thomas with red dots all over) Also there were a couple of plastic sets (take-along) - one was with helicopter and the other looked like a house or garage or something like that with a train I think.. (BTW I still have to figure out how it all works. I keep buying all these Take Along plastic sets. They can all be put together, right?) Wow so envious on the hot wheels stuff. I haven't seen a single pkg. here anywhere.

So dd is finally grown out of her booster seat (the one that is like a small high chair and attached to a regular chair) but she's having a hard time sitting at our regular kitchen table and reaching everything.. So I'm thinking there must be some booster-like things for the older kids? I remember seeing something a while back (can't remember where.) It was just this booster-like thing that was made out of rubber and went on top of a regular chair (no straps) Is that what you guys are using for your older kids?? Also where can I find something like this or whatever else that everyone else is using?? And are there any good deals?? Thank You!!

The Dollar spot had 30% signs but things scanned 50 cents. It was pretty bare though (but this was the 1st time I remembered to check it so not sure what was there before.) I just got a pair of rubber gloves for housework and some cute small fabric Hello Kitty bags for goodie bags for dd's B-Day. Bath stuff went 75% so I got that kid see-through plastic shower curtain with frogs, ducks, etc. for $3.xx and will return the one I bought for $7.xx (at 50%) Shabby Chick stuff went 75% at the one Target (not sure they even had anything on clearnce from this line at the other Target.) I know someone was asking about it. I finally bought dd this very cute sheets set for $10. It was the white one with flowers. They also had a solid pink one and a white one 75% off. Will be perfect with Shabby Chic Ballerina quilt I bought earlier for summer bedding (can't believe I saw 2 of these Ballerina quilts still lying around on the end cap.) Also bought a sofa slip cover 75% - around $20 - brown, they also had cherry. I have been seeing a lot of the one piece and two piece slip covers for a love seat and for a chair in the end caps of several Targets. Found those twistable pencils 12 pks. in the regular isle across from the color wonder sets. Also in the Toy section - end cap - some of the card pkgs. had clearance signs next to them but they were all gone. I think they all hit 75% since I found Elmo alphabet cards set in a different isle that looked like it was out of place and it scanned $1 (75%). Some of the party stuff (like cake candles) were on clearance I think maybe 50%? And lots of discounts in the wedding and baby papper stuff... Also on the end cap in the bath/hygene stuff they had very cute sets of 2 hair clips and a band with bunnies on it and it said final price .99. (75%) They had at least 20 of these so not sure what that was all about. No regular red tags either - just this big bar code thing sticker with the .99 cents price printed right on there. Usually I see this on returns but this wasn't one item.. I just thought these would be perfect for Easter. Can't believe clearance books are still at 50%.

**At one of the Targets here they were all in the regular isle. I think they had at least 6. I bought 5 by now - 2 Diego, 2 Dora, 1 Cars and 2 Color Explosion ones. (I seriously doubt anyone here knows these are a part of the V-Day sale or that they were even ever in the V-Day isle. Because if they were why are they all in the regular isle now?) (Now I wonder if I should have left them all there and came back when it turned 90%) Also, not sure if anyone has already mentioned these or not, but I found 2 heart-shaped doodles in the regular isle Today. One is pink and the other is purple. They were just hanging in with the other travel sized ones but since they were hearts I knew to scan them. Not sure of the price but they are regulary around $8 and these were around $2 I think.
